Which they pretty much have to do, considering that they have quite the large fandom in Japan for not officially doing any promotion there. Just think of it as a larger stop on their Asia Tour, and not necessarily being "shipped off to Japan".

WARNING: Random So, I was looking through various fanaccounts of Pledis Girlz’ concerts and I re-stumbled upon the Q&A in which the girls compare each other to animals. Yebin gets compared to a rabbit, and subsequently Judy from Zootopia. But that just wasn’t sitting right with me. Like I know it’s a popular movie with popular characters in it right now, but Yebin doesn’t seem to be quite like the protagonist to me. So I was wracking my brain all day, and I think I’ve got a pretty good comparison… YEBIN IS THUMPER Still nothing tops this perfect comparison that K-fans made…. ***I'm still working on comparisons for the other girls

They may have mistranslated Minkyung's name as Mingyeong, lol An explanation via a fan account... ***Pinky first introduced herself to Seventeen fans during their 17TV days using this name, so international got in the habit of using it. It is now doubtful that she'll promote using this nickname in Korea, but it's just too cute to let go~

Ah, so they have another official photo besides the ones we've already seen on the poster!!!! It looks like they were taken sometime during Produce 101, because Nayoung's hair is still light, Kyungwon's is long and brown, and Yebin's hair is still in a bowlcut. I hope we get HDs of these as well, because they look A+ I was wondering where this picture of Eunwoo was from, looks like there is now an answer... Also, ***I'll edit in the rest of the girls closeups when I find them all~ Yewon looks like she could be a Got7 member during their Just Right era, haha, cute~

Sad that Yebin wasn’t feeling well enough to attend, but glad that Pledis didn’t push her. I think they’re all resting up so that they’ll be able to be a complete group on the 25th. About that Pann article introducing the new additions, I think now that people are more familiar with Yewon, Shannon, and Kyla (I’m going to have to get used to Yewon being the eldest of the three now, haha) a lot of these sentiments have changed, for the better! CONCERT RECAP~ I’m so late with getting around to do this, but it has been such a busy week, sorry! I know that the next concert is later today (AND IT’S YEWON SOLO DAY, ANTICIPATE!!!), so I want to just get across my main thoughts and feelings... I’m so thankful that fancams of their Q&As are getting subbed, it really goes a long way in helping to establish their personalities and relationships with one another. WOW, so many possible composers in this group. Ugh, I can’t wait to see what they come up with!! I might be mistaken, but I don’t think we’ve seen any fancams of their original song We, have we??? Is it Be Alright's actual title??? Wasn’t really expecting them to cover Lovelyz, but it was a really nice performance. Honestly, most of Lovelyz songs are not my cup of tea, but I can’t deny the fact that they are very talented and hardworking girls that deserve the spotlight. So, I’m not sour over it. But it does make me wonder, do y’all have songs that you hope the girls will cover? Because I know I do, haha. Eunwoo’s cover of Gravity was simply beautiful. She has such a smooth tone as she reaches those high notes, honey vocals~ Iggy Azalea is an interesting choice… wasn’t expecting that move, Kyla. But good on you, because I think this week was your best yet. Kyla really seemed to be in the zone with her performances and really picked a song that I think she felt confidence in, I’m looking more and more forward to her solo next week. I think she’ll really come up with something special. I hope that we get to see more of this for her, I want to see our maknae have fun on the stage. Then her collab with Eunwoo and Yebin, she held her own like I wasn’t exactly expecting, tbh!!!! It’s not really a secret that I wasn’t exactly impressed with the first taste we got of Kyla’s rap (as she was vastly overshadowed by the debut of Siyeon’s skills), but her You Should Be Here performance REALLY shows that she can stand toe-to-toe with the rest of the rap line. She has her own distinct flow and inflections that I think will really compliment the others when they’re mixed together. Ugh, I hope we get a rap line performance on the 25th!!!! GOOD JOB, KYLA!!! Wow, my girl Yewon is ambitious, covering Jennifer Hudson like that…. but she does a surprisingly stand up job. Of course, her voice is not quite as hearty as Ms. Hudson’s, but she still holds strong. She has this velvety quality to her voice that pairs nicely with those kind of soulful, jazzy tones. I hope she keeps up with these funky little parts in songs too, the dang, dang, dang~ in Rollercoaster as well as now with the just `cuz all the girls are falling at your feet, don’t mean no thing to me~ in Trouble. There’s kind of an attitude to her voice, I like it. (As I’m sure you all know by now.) SHANNON IS A ’99 LINER BABY, YAY!!!! I think then we’ll have a more solid idea of their respective positions. Shannon and Eunwoo are pretty much confirmed to be the main vocalists of the group by now, which would mean that Yewon will probably be considered a lead vocal. We really haven’t got much exposure to Kyungwon’s abilities, but from both her positions in Produce 101 as well as in these concerts, she seems to fill the sub vocal role (very strongly, might I add). Minkyung and Pinky’s positions are what I’m on the fence about at the moment, since both have been shown to take up center positions that include quite a bit of vocal leading (Pinky with the Don’t Know stage, and Minkyung with the Monster stage). Also, it’s my belief that Minkyung is the one who was assigned Pinky’s parts in their group songs while she’s away with I.O.I. But one will be a lead vocal (I’m leaning towards Minkyung, but we’ll see) and the other will be the other sub vocal (wow, strong sub vocals!!) My understanding of the future positions of the Rap line is a little weaker… Mostly because I’m not sure where to put Nayoung and Siyeon? I think Yebin is slated to be the main rapper, that much is clear. Siyeon could also very well be a main rapper (based on the fact that both her and Yebin’s raps in Rollercoaster are nearly the same length of time), but being a lead could also give more opportunities for her vocal possibly? Kyla is a sub rapper, and I’m excited to see what she brings. So, my main dilemma, will Nayoung be a lead or sub rapper??? Dunno. Curious to see if they’ll make a dance unit of some kind... Shout out to Pledis for letting Nayoung and Pinky focus on I.O.I. and not rushing them to debut before they can actually manage them. Just get some kind of outlet for the rest of the girls to stay connected to fans if this is the end of concerts for a while, and I won't curse at you, for now. PICTURE SPAM~

I understand that Seventeen need to expand as well as solidify their fanbase and that the boys enjoy being busy... But too much too soon, Pledis. They aren't robots. Please consider the health and well-being of your artists!!!! I mean, we're seeing the downsides to their already exhausting schedules now... When will these boys be able to even breath in the upcoming months???? Repackaged album... NY Kcon... Asia Tour... Japan Concert... AND another comeback album/mini-album.... EDIT. AND YEAR-END EVENTS!!!

I'll do my full recap and thoughts later, but one question keeps popping up in my mind... Do their cute, new Pledis Girlz t-shirts only come in crop-top or extra-long lengths???

It’s that time of the week once again… CONCERT RECAP!!! Wow, what kind of news did I come back to!?!?! The best kind, actually. OT10 for their final concert is going to be such a special stage, I’m sure that it’ll be a little bittersweet though if it turns out to be their last concert for now… I’m glad to see that netizens aren’t overreacting about this one-off performance, hopefully they’ll show interest and support instead!!! Also, I’ll chalk one up to Pledis for not automatically throwing them into the concerts when they could have. I mean, I’m sure that Nayoung and Pinky will still be busy up until the 25th, but at least they’ll be able to get some sleep and breath a little easier until then. Hopefully, they’ll use this time wisely to begin to plan for debut, since Nayoung and Pinky won’t be available for some time afterwards (with I.O.I’s 2nd Unit and their comeback/final goodbye). That way they will have less to plan for next year. Going off of that idea, I really hope that Pledis is able to give them an iconic debut image. Something like Bang!’s marching band concept or OC’s “sexy†showgirl T-shirt dresses from My Copycat. Just something interesting and eye-catching costume-wise, please… I'm sure you've all seen this glorious photoshop by now... EDIT. So apparently, all the concerts in June were filled within minutes of being available!!! WOW!!! I mean, of course, these tickets are free and there are only about 200 seats, but I’m ecstatic to see a solid fanbase being established for these girls!!! If the 25th is their last concert for now, I hope that they do this mini-concert concept again in the fall!!!!! Maybe with another new song? And then, by the time spring 2017 rolls around… I hope they’ll be gearing up to debut!!! On a sad note, Kill Your Darlings wasn’t able to get in… Neither was Picturesque And I don't think Archery Paradox was able to either My favorite fansites PLEDIS OR KYLA OR SOMEONE READ MY PREVIOUS POST BECAUSE THIS WEEK, BANGS!!!! I wasn’t thinking of those see-through bangs that are popular in Korea when I posted, but she looks cute!!! Also, I’m happy to note that Kyla also seems to be more confident on stage, there is more precision in her moves and she’s not sneaking glances at the other members anymore, haha. I’m so looking forward to seeing how her voice matures and grows after their debut. She could really be a top idol vocalist in the future, like just imagine it for a minute… amazing.
