PLEDIS IS ACTUALLY DOING THEIR JOB AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER

SO, PLEDIS NOT ONLY GOT A V-APP ACCOUNT BUT IS ALSO BROADCASTING THE LAST CONCERT?! Not to mention that they're advertising it on Naver's front page... It's only been a couple of days and they have yet to upload anything, but the channel is already at 11000+ followers ♡♡♡ I have to admit... not bad, Pledis. I came back to some great news!!!

Honestly, keeping in mind that this is Pledis we’re talking about, Twitter and Facebook are probably all that we’ll get for a while. Pledis didn’t start using Daum for Seventeen until a little while back (they had a separate website that was a total headache), and although I think they learned some experience through that hiccup… I don’t see them opening one up until they announce their debut. They could get an Instagram, but official Pledis accounts are rarely updated, Pledis Boss is probably the most frequent. Ditto for Youtube, only MVs and the like are posted there. They could also set up an account with V-App, as a simple way to interact with fans in an instant. But again, I don’t see Pledis doing that before they’re an offical-ish group, closer to debut that is. I do think they should get a Weibo account for the girls set up ASAP though. With both Twitter and Weibo accounts, Pledis Girlz could do similar to Seventeen and begin to do menpas (mention + party) with fans. Seventeen has been doing them since early on and it really helped to attract and solidify their fandom from the beginning. I guess we’ll see if Pledis has improved their marketing skills in time…

I was backtracking when I saw this post and just couldn’t help but to start trying to sort them in my head. I would have included pictures, but there are just too many to fit in one post, sorry! This is what I came up with... Seungcheol - Flat-Coated Retriever optimistic, confident, and puppy-like. Jeonghan - Rough Collie graceful, devoted, and proud. Joshua - Brittany adaptive, enthusiastic, and curious. Jun - Pharaoh Hound noble, affectionate, and sensitive. Soonyoung - Shiba Inu charming, bold, and highly energetic. Wonwoo - Alaskan Malamute dignified, devoted, and easy-going. Jihoon - French Bulldog stubborn, patient, and intelligent. Seokmin - German Shepherd ***characteristics are all over the place for this breed. Mingyu - Great Dane dependable, gentle, and quirky. Minghao - Greyhound even-tempered, quiet, and athletic. Seungkwan - Pembroke Welsh Corgi tenacious, playful, and strong-willed. Hansol - Parson Russell Terrier spirited, clever, and independent. Chan - Manchester Terrier determined, perceptive, and feisty.

YOU'RE RIGHT! Their faces do look similar enough to resemble each other... Yewon has noticeably more prominent cheekbones and Jiwon bigger lips, but it's still not far off. Wow, what a compliment... A BETTER QUALITY FANCAME OF YEWON AND KYLA'S TROUBLE STAGE HAS BEEN FOUND~

1. I don’t think they will, but I’m not going to put my faith fully in Pledis because you never know… 2. I think a pretty clear division in vocal vs rap is already visible in the group, but I do wonder if there will be a performance unit (as I’ve said before). I’d say that the most logical groups would be Vocal: Minkyung, Eunwoo, Shannon, Yewon; Rap: Yebin, Siyeon, and Kyla; Performance: Nayoung, Kyungwon, Pinky. Someone has to get the main dancer title, and there will probably also be lesser titles of this as well, so I’m interested in how they’re going to assign this… 3. Early half of next year. Prime time, weeks after I.O.I’s disbandment. Realistically, a couple months after. 4. I think the whole concept of girl crush has kind of been overused lately (who named it this by the way?), but it’s probably the closest representation of what I would like to see from them. If I tried to break it down further… a fresh, unique/girl crush concept? Like Roller Coaster or Produce 101’s Fingertips (but packing a little more of a punch and high tempo)? I think we’re all hoping that they decide not to go the pure/cute route, and so far they don’t seem to be headed that way. Still, best to keep our fingers crossed. *5. I wonder if Yewon is going to get a stage name or not? The recent Yewon’s that have debuted have done so with a stage name, so I’m really curious….

***Yewon is a December baby as well!! (No wonder I love this group already, so many sagittarians...).The majority of the girls have end of the year birthdays, so that's going to be a little hectic for us fans when the time rolls around, haha.

^^^This is pretty accurate to my feelings on the situation. Girl groups seem to be flooding into the system at the moment (probably large in part to Produce 101 as well as the popularity of rookie girl groups), so it would be harder for the girls to gain the general public’s attention against all the direct competition (a whole lot of which were contestants on the same program and yet were able to garner more of a focus than some of our girls). Meanwhile, the market next year doesn’t seem to be nearly as saturated (at least for now), meaning that Pledis could have the opportunity to plan out the most efficient time for the girls to debut. On top of that, Pledis Girlz seem to be the only viable group to inherit the buzz off of I.O.I’s disbandment (as impracticable as is may seem, if Pledis and the girls could pull off a debut a few weeks after the spilt, they could garner a lot of buzz). (Fantagio could also do this, but from what I heard they don’t have their girl group scheduled to debut until late 2017/early 2018, plans can always change though). Also, the “positive image booster†of Nayoung and Pinky dedicating themselves to I.O.I may be needed in the future… since we all know the old, ugly scandals will be dug up from their graves, again. And of course, by that time Pledis may even have worked out a plan about what they want to do with their existing groups, aka gotten their shit together for once. P.S. Pledis Girlz are a really promising group, and I'm sure that their debut will turn some heads (Pledis has always been good at that). Seventeen was able to hold their own last year with some stiff competition, so don't get too worried about other groups. Promotion and fan support (both of which Pledis is doing a half-way decent job at at the moment) will work wonders with their talent to set a solid footing for them.

I think we were all hoping that San E and Raina’s collab would feature a Pledis trainee, mess at them for not, but maybe they’ll promote the song on shows and need a substitute girl(s) on stage like they’ve done previously? As for Seventeen, they made little cameo’s in Mansae so fingers crossed that they can expand their roles to be more prominent in the future!! Pretty sure that the influx (for all the under-appreciated girls) is due in large part to Yebin’s absence, but I’ll take whatever I can at this point.
