If you had a big crush on him you'd know that he's really passionate about making music despite sm's lack of support for their idols who are interested. Hyun bin was also initially named as one of the actors in that actor Kakaotalk scandal with Joo Jin Mo and Jang Dong Gun. But one of my close groups of friends drink, smoke, love going for raves, and partying with hard liquor. But we get along cos we have a shared interest for board games, video games, vr gaming and good food. In other words, it's possible for people with different values to mix around. So whether that group of friends are career-driven networks or real friends, it doesn't necessarily mean that he has the same values as them. Sm has a track record of not defending their artists' scandals, whether its dating or other issues (e.g. that super junior member who was found to keep hitting on girls on social media or Shinee's onew's scandal, etc). If Chanyeol was in any way involved in their chats or shenanigans, you can be sure that the journalists and reporters who read through the chats would have a field day with him. I'm not saying that he's definitely clean because we can never know with these celebrities, even our other faves.

I agree. Jungwoo is such a bias wrecker during this era. His personality is a fascinating mixture of soft and crackhead. He's entertaining, good-looking and can sing omg. All sm has to do is to get him spots in variety shows and let him work his unique brand of likeable charisma. Although to be fair, he's been in quite a few of the group's v-lives, nct interviews and nct daily videos.

Wow Yujin and Mina are so so pretty. I've been getting into Nct after watching all their vlogs, game shows, interviews and music during these quarantine times, so its gonna be my current obsession, nct. My picks are: Nct Jungwoo. He looks so good in pictures and in motion, plus tall to boot. And can sing. And super funny, he's always cracking the boys up with his antics. Nct Haechan. Behind that cherubic face, he's smart as a whip and sassy, but very clingy to his favourite people. Nct Doyoung. I never found him good-looking in pictures until I watched the episode on Masked Singer where he revealed himself. And I realised how pretty and delicate his features are. I think he looks better in motion than stills. Bonus: A beautiful voice that seems to match his face. It has this aerial quality to it. Not many idols manage to reach the final round but he did it! Listen with the volume up and good speakers if possible! I love this performance. WayV (Nct) Lucas. Surprisingly, this guy isn't listed as a visual. His visual-ness is so striking. Maybe it doesn't have the measuredness that Koreans like, cos his eyes are super big. Nct Yangyang

Discovered and been thoroughly entertained by nct's channel during this quarantine period. It's like being introduced to this one big happy family. Since the videos usually have one or a few members just hanging out, it feels like you really get to know them. Then when they all come together, it feels kinda nice, like its kinda like a reunion? There's the kids (dreamies), the westernised ones (Johnny, Jaehyun, Mark etc), the crazy ones (Jungwoo, Haechan, etc), the relaxed ones, the different friend groups, etc. They cook, travel, work, chill and play in these vids and am living vicariously through them. Not an nctzen yet but am really liking them and wondering why didn't notice them before. They're so likeable. For C-dramas, This was the most watched drama in Chinese history when it aired. Don't know if its still true but I enjoyed it, especially after the first 4 episodes (where its mostly context for the rest of the drama. I recommend watching it 2x speed lol). I liked it when I watched it but later found the acting by the leads a bit cheesy after watching miles of peach blossom. Yang Yang is super handsome though. And the friends parts are cute. The Untamed. Youtube has a lot of subbed c-dramas now. I used to watch a lot of them but stopped for a year or two. For video games, my friend has been obsessed with Witcher. Looks great but I don't wanna spend money. Cos who knows how bad the economic crisis is gonna be after this. I've started playing epic seven and Arknights on my iPad. im also watching a lot of these videos by introverted people who stay in. Sometimes when they cook, it inspires me to try the same things which is kinda fun and takes up time. There's a few others like that too.

I'm just going to hazard a guess that "actor/actress" type visuals are those that are better in motion than in still pictures. I don't know that many idols to exhaustively list all, but Nct Jaehyun, Kang Daniel, Ong Seungwoo, Nct Jungwoo, Seventeen Mingyu, Bp Lisa and Jisoo, suzy, Yoona, Siwan all spring to mind. It's not that they look bad in pictures but they look even better in motion. I realise many idols look great in photos but when I see them on variety shows without filters etc, they still look good (celebs after all) but not as good as pictures.

Wow that first Javier Bardem picture is making me feel things. And for those who think that a dark skinned Little Mermaid is akin to having a Caucasian Moana or Pocahontas, it's not the same. Pocahontas and Moana are based on ReAL groups of people and their lives/stories. To change the ethnicity of the characters would be offensive and insensitive. But a mermaid isn't real. Even though the tale might have Danish origins, it doesn't mean that the fictional characters have to be the same ethnicity as the writer. If I wrote a story about fairies, people recreating my story on film don't have to make them look East Asian. On the other hand, it might also be inaccurate to accuse all who oppose the casting of racism (although I won't be surprised if some really are being trashy racists). It's just that people are usually creatures of habit and grew up with Disney's cartoon portrayal of red-haired fair-skinned Ariel as part of their childhood. Imagine if they got the brunette Maggie Gyllanhaal or Kristen Stewart instead, I think people would be unhappy as well cos their looks dont align with the Ariel they grew up with. Anyway, I think people should give Halle Bailey a chance. She's pretty and can sing. Plus, it's not her fault they casted her and it'll be really dumb to turn down a big break like that just because some people might be unhappy.
