Regarding the merch, excluiding the old-but-only-this-year-promoted-fan, there is new merch with SNSD and f(x) name on it...but just general one no "exclusive one" an let's not forget the legos-likes figures and the brand new museum (in which even Jessica was featured). However, I do agree that most, if not all, of the girl will leave SM on the next contract negotation...or even sooner if I let my imagination go wild with that sightseeing of Yoona and SM's current CEO at SUM cafe. And considering is rumored SM new girl group may debut this year then it can be predicted where all of this is going. Moving on, killing the brand? Nah, if that would be the case, even after Seo Ju Hyun, Choi Sooyoung and Tiffany Young departure, they would not even dare to stick their rookies with the girls but they still (I mean, just look how many were against the random addition of Lucas on Taeyeon's new release) or even dare to put them in the museum. Is more believable that either SM or the girls are expecting the group brand name to slide away from spotlight as time goes by but it's power transfered to their solo careers rather than killing it.

So at the end it was all a "missunderstanding" but still they decided to carry it on. LMAO

'gotta love how "sones" aren't slick anymore and straight want SNSD to disband so their faves can ShInE... Like deam, they really "love" the group 😶 And lol, another thing I love is how many "sones" just knew about Yuri being the host in a variety show just now through the whole "Sm Is SaBoTaGiNg YuRi" thing. Like SM does not need to sabotage her, the fact that most of you did not know about Yuri hosting gig says a lot. SM putting NCT and SNSD together is nothing new They did a collaboration during SMTOWN as a group: And even Lucas was with SNSD before And yes, they did it with EXO and Red Velvet as well. Just like how SNSD was paired with SuJu and TVXQ in the past. (Thus the amount of antis back then) Is an old marketing tactic and I do not know why some people are mad about. Is the same as when Taeyeon got a duet with Kangta back on the debut era.

There is a reason why they decided to put randomly an NCT member there, for mediaplay, either for Taeyeon or for Lucas. And there are a lot of articles that talk about Taeyeon's comeback without NCT, just check @snsdnavernews, if those did not get the hype you expected then that is a separated issue. But the pre-promotions had already started.
