Happy Sugar Life (2018): 8/10 Delivered what I expected, a train-weck of psychopaths but with the extra it explored the psychology of the MC in deep, in a minor scale, of the other side characters as well and it did not went overboard with the gore but it did with the psychological part. Aside from some production values and draggy points, a solid shojo ai horror/suspense thriller. Revue starlight (2018): 9/10 Those rare occasion where an expected generic idol show/moe/#cgdct/#yuribait/slice of life turned out to be a complex fantasy series with top-tier production, dazzling fights, fitting and immersive ost, commentary on the theatre world (hell, even on the showbizz as well if we go deeper) with metaphorms and a solid mature story without losing it's light heart. An interesting choice even with it's flaws. Sakura Trick [2014]: 7/10 Let's get this straight (lol), a bunch of cute schoolgirls being gay to each other every five minutes under the appearance of a light school romance story with an average production value, nothing more neither less. The show itself barely tries to be something more and when it does is quickly toned down with comedy. Most of the episodes are pretty funny and the shows shines more when displays side instead of the moments, Netsuzou Trap [2017]: 6/10 After watching it, I feel the hate is receiving is unfair. Not all shows necessarily need either a likeable cast nor redeemable characters, let alone a wholesome story, i felt they are being too harsh on that instead of focusing IN THE HORRIBLE PACING THIS ANIME HAS instead of crying of some cheap-ass teenage-televisa-soup-opera premise. But that is a general way to describe since it went beyond of what telenovelas usually showcase. The pacing literally killed every redeemable characteristic of the plot development and I think is because the production aimed to chew more plotwise of what they could told. Finally the production quality was fine since the show barely attempted to display a smoother visual presentation. It could had been the ultimate netorare-lesbian-train-weck but it's pacing literally killed it, not the characters, neither the plot but it's development. Still, I enjoyed since is hard to find shows like this without the hentai label and Hotaru's was almost well developed as a characters (almost because the show forgot to mention why Hotaru developed feelings for Yuma but did show why Yuma developed for Hotaru, and if the reason was that flashback on episode 2 then pretty much solidified my point of how the show aimed for more out of their league). And yeah, is not for everyone, rather than the quality or theme...is NETORARE, NTR.

Chio's School Road [2018] 6/10 The beginning really pumped me out as it was the randomness f*ckery as it was announced but later the jokes felt bland and the over the topness of the series did not had the same effect as it did on it's first episodes. Still provided some gold comedy moments but is hard to hide I got disappointed on how the series ended up being, and avarage sitcom. The tatami galaxy [2010] 9/10 The show, literally, builds it's own universe and play with it's time and space as it's desire. And it manages to build an overall story which ties all the different timelines/universes on which the show unfolds. Add the wonderfull production which at first sight it may look cheap but it's execution feed the surreal, and sometimes bizarre, atmosphere of the anime and it's narrative. However, since this show clearly hangs on the different stories in which the cast is involved. It was expected that some episodes, in special from the first half, would not deliver and even be weak. Another negative aspect is once you get some of the premise, or to be more exact, what the protagonist should had done, and if you don't find yourself fond with the episodes it may feel the show is dragging it's plot too hard. Despiting that, a special mention for episodes 6, 7 and 8 which could serve as an essay of love and sexuality on current society seasoned with humor and experimental animated production value. Asagao to Kase-San (OVA) [2018] 8/10 The embodiment of #yuriisthepurestformoflove meme, the almost an hour OVA is a full fluffy ride which sweetly treats the growing romantic relation between our protagonists (Altought is mostly on the perspective of Yamada) in a wholesome approach (I think). However, it can get either too fluffy or too calm that it may get boring by half of the ride. But, by the third act, without losing it's cozy and innocent spirit, the ride manage to reinvent itself and without losing it's (I think) wholesome approach of this love tale between Yamada and Kase tell the last obstacle both girls need to face in a more complex and surrealistic narrative that, like I said, manage to fit with the story overall mood. And that boosted my appreciation for this OVA. Is not the next big thing but it has it's own merits which invite to check it out. Renai Boukun (Love Tyrant) [2017] 08/10 The plot is ridiculous, the show is self aware of it and that is what make it shine. Since the first episode the show does not stop in providing a rollercoaster of "wtf?" situations which is helped with a colorfull main cast and even delivers in providing a background to the chaos on which the anime unfolds. However, when it tries to get serious is when it's remarkable characteristic, fast-pacing, plays agaisnt it and reduce the spark and energy the show provides when is on comedy mode. And is mostly because it tries to chew more of what it can. There is an exception of that flaw (Akane and Yuzu's families' background arc and even Shikimi's first encounter arc at some point) but the fact that it shone on the season's climax give it some negatives points. Nevertheless, a nice alternative for comedies which like to not take them seriously when they want.

Don't know if she can be considered as a "hero" but...Black Lagoon's Revi? That is not her usual attire thought (is this one: B) Anyone from Madoka Magica? (In special either Sayaka or Kyoko) There is Utena as well (Pink hair one) Ange from Princess Principal (Don't know either if she could be considered a "hero" as well), The one with the hat Lina Again, don't know if she qualifies as a hero, but Haruko. Maka also I guess the "waifu" of the moment as well? 02 Nah 😠this one (Pink hair one) And I have not (fully) watched them but you have Ghost in the shell and the female cast of Full Metal Alchemist, Sword Art Online, Sailor moon, Fairy Tail, fate/zero along with the looo(...)ong fate/ franchise and My Hero Academia. Then most female anime heroes I know have revealing clothing so... -

I just got back in track on anime this year so I'm kind of the same as you. However, romance...I would recommed the ones the community is somehow praising Wotakoi: Love is hard for an otaku (11 episodes) Have not watched yet, but saw some clips and is a light-heart rom-com which I will watch it later, Is in an office setting with young adults instead of the typical school-setting with high-schoolers so that give it some points. Your lie in April (22 episodes) Praised af, so give it a try I guess...'cause I'm yet to watch it. Nisekoi (S1:20 episodes S2:12 episodes) I alway see a clip of this anime in any compilation video of funny moments and seeing it has somehow a noticeable fandom give it a try. Marmalade Boy (76 episodes) I remember this was broadcasted on TV where I live a long time ago, I haven't fully watched but I found out is considered a classic. Tada Never Falls in Love (13 episodes) Well, this anime is pretty much recommended along with Wotakoi as far as I saw so...try it...I guess. And from the ones I saw I could recommed : School Rumble (S1: 26 episodes S2: episodes) (The OVA that serves as a third season and closure for the series: 2 episodes) Just a blast of random romantic comedy 😂 Renai Boukun (Love Tyrant) (12 episodes) Just finished watching this, pretty much mocks almost every trope of most rommantic stories and I love it. It can get very silly, weird and dumb. Asagao to Kase-san (OVA) The OVA of this year wich is around 59 minutes long, not the one from last year. Literally, embodies the whole #yuriisthepurestformoflove meme. If you want fluffy romance here you go. That it is what I can suggest for romance.

Nah, it could be a prelude to the end but not like the The Grace. For The Grace it took years after their last comeback for the unit to the debut. Moreover, all the members were under SM till' then. It would be more like DSP's Kara, SS501 and Fin KL, all the members left the agency but their disbandment was never made official until now but DSP still put merchandise to sell with those brands for a while post departure. Yuri joining will be a surprise considering her schedule, actually the question would be if the unit gonna promote considering the solo schedule of all the members.

I´ll probably be over with this soon...but man...Madoka Magica´s episode 9 stroke me harder than I thought Sayaka...Kyoko... Sayaka's arc can be...no, is so dam relatable. Moreover, as ironic as it sounds, that phrase can be applied to the other anime I´m watching on parallel with this one, Citrus. To be precise during Mei´s dad arc, being Mei the one paying for her dad's happiness how then the plot is handled is another story... Like, at some point of our life we all not only gonna learn that quote but feel the meaning of it...and is probably in the worst way possible. And let's not even talk about the special ED for such episode...
