All of Blackpink members are charming imo that I can't really choose who is the most charming. Jennie and Lisa are the most charming on stages and photoshoots. That's why they usually attract non-fans or casual fans (the ones who only watch BP's MVs, performances, and look at their photoshoots). Jisoo and Rose, on the other hand, attract fans with their personalities. They usually turn people who have time to watch their variety shows into fans because they are the most charming on shows.

This is really an unpopular opinion. Jennie looked the best only when she is on stage, MVs, or photo shoots. When the girls are on variety shows, she looked so so. Jisoo and Rose are prettier imo. Lisa is pretty too and because she is funnier than Jennie, she looks more attractive to me. Maybe because Jennie are very charismatic and knows how to play with camera that I find her very captivating when she is on stages. Jisoo and Rose, on the other hand, are not as good as Jennie when it comes to performances. But when they are on variety shows, they look really attractive because they are both good-looking and have charming personalities.

I don't know if I should post it here or on unpopular opinion thread instead. It sounds like a rant but at the same time it also sounds like an unpopular opinion especially lately. Blackpink are obviously talented. I don't know why OH users tried to insist as if they are not. I am not a fan (or haven't been) of them but lately I have been enjoying their videos and I have noticed that each member do their roles well or at least they don't have filler member. Jennie is a good rapper, Lisa is a great dancer, Jisoo is made for variety shows, and Rose, even though her vocal technique is lacking, her tones are praised in Korea. It's not that she is a bad singer, it's YG who made her she is. She sounded fine in Without You. As a group, they are also good performers. Their dances are one of the hardest choreographies among new generation idols yet they still seem fully energetic on stage. I fail to see how are they 'untalented' .

Talking about BTS 24/7 non-stop. 4. Joining the hate bandwagon on Onces and she didn't even know Twice. I don't stan Twice but it's really annoying. I have just graduated and is working in a private bank in my country. I don't have so much time hanging out with my friends because they are busy too. The only times when I can feel a little bit more relaxed are when I spend my time with my family and lurking on OH or NB before going to sleep. Can you imagine how I feel when one of my family and people here never stop talking about BTS? Not that I hate them but why can't people here talk about something else? I guess I have to quit for being kpop fans and looking for other hobbies so that I can stop visiting this site. Enough rant.

Taeyeon is amazing tbh. How does she manage her life? what exactly she did in her room? Most emo and introverted people near me are usually not interested and lazy to do anything. That's why they are so so at everything. They are neither amazingly smart nor talented. But Taeyeon is different... your argument probably works for other countries but not mine. SNSD were hated here for three reasons that basically all normal girls wanted to be/have: Pretty. Close with oppars. Popular. Tzuyu's beauty is not praised because she has features that would be considered as basic here. In fact, some people find Dahyun is prettier. Nayeon's visual is praised too but non of the members' visuals are called as legendary like Yoona's. Even my mom said Yoona was amazingly pretty. Other non kpop fans found Yuri and Seohyun were pretty too. If you said "Korean girls are pretty", people would automatically respond "oh yeah SNSD are really pretty". One of the reasons why Indonesian SNSD antis back then hated SNSD because they are jealousy of their visuals. They said SNSD were plastic monster. Even so, I am pretty sure they were secretly admiring SNSD visuals. Twice visuals', on the other hand, don't leave so much impact. That's why I doubt kpop fans here hate Twice because they are jealousy of their beauty. GOT7 are not really popular here. They are not as popular as Suju back then. If SNSD was Nation Girl Group, Suju was our Nation Boy Group. That's why SNSD was hated because they interacted with Suju oppars. I doubt the reason why Twice hated here because they interacted with GOT7. Unlike SNSD who were close to many boy group members, Twice are reserved. They don't interacted with boy groups that much. SNSD was called as flirts and hoes and Twice aren't. People here mostly bash Twice because they can't sing, boring, etc. The last paragraph works for Thai antis but not Indonesian antis. Like I said, Twice are not that popular here. I doubt people here hate them because they are jealousy of their popularity. I know this because I used to be SNSD antis. I hated them because Seohyun doing WGM with my Yonghwa oppa and that she is pretty and popular. I interacted with a lot of SNSD antis and I am pretty sure they had the same reason as mine. However, I don't find the reasons why antis hate Twice are the same reasons why they hated SNSD back then because: Twice's visuals are not really praised here. They are not close with oppars. I could say that they were the Nation Girl group here because even non Kpop fans know them. They were known for their mega hit Gee and their sync choreo. There were many local celebrities who were fans of them and went to their concert. They created the Hallyu wave here along with Suju, 2PM, Shinee, Bigbang, and 2NE1. Because of them, many new local girl group debuted with similar cute and bubbly concept. Twice, on the other hand, is not even that popular here. The argument that say "they hate them because they are jealousy of their popularity" is very invalid. Blackpink is definitely the most popular. I even think that group like GFriend and Red Velvet is more popular than Twice. SNSD was also hated because antis are jealousy of their beauty. I have read a lot of non Kpop fans' blogs praised Yoona, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Seohyun 's visual. Even my classmate who know nothing about SNSD praised their beauty. Meanwhile Twice has... who? I am pretty sure people here are not so amazed by Tzuyu's beauty. She is considered as average here. I remember when some Kpop fanbase shared this pic on IG, people on the comments mostly praised Dahyun's visual because of her monolids, pointy nose, and eccentric hair. Nayeon's visual is also praised, but surely not as much as Yoona's. Other Twice members' popularity is almost non-existent and that's why their beauty is barely praised. another reason why SNSD was hated back then was because they were close with their male sunbaes and they were bashed by jealousy fan girls telling them to die. Idk maybe this is just my observation but I feel like Dahyun's personality is too carefree for male idols. Male idols usually like the sexy or cute girls hence that's why J-lines, Tzuyu, and Nayeon are popular among them. Dahyun, on the other hand, even though the stylists and JYP give her cute image, she rarely behaves cutely. Her behaviors are mostly dorks, easy-going, and a bit tomboyish. It's not surprising to see that she has more male friends in her high school than the female ones. Watch the BTS of her drama with Eunwoo and Moonbin and you will know what I mean. She was so comfortable around them. Edit: I doubt Dahyun will flirt and have dating rumor with male idols because she seems like she enjoys doing fan-services. Many Onces who came to Twice events said that Dahyun is the top when it comes to fan-services.

I feel like company can't choose public friendly concepts for girl groups without labeled as basic or sexualizing minor. The reactions for fresh, innocent, and cute concepts: 1. They attract horny and creepy ahjussi fans. 2. Boring. They are not kids. Give them mature concept !!! Once they turn to sexy and mature concepts: 1. OMG what is the company doing??!!! they are sexualizing minor!! 2. (if they don't have minor members) They are sluts!! So, which concept they better have to be popular in public? I am confused tbh because nowadays only two concepts that really work to attract public imo. It's either sexy or cute concept. Only groups from big agency can attract public with baddass or girl cruch concept. E.g: 2NE1, MISSA and Blackpink. Heck even CLC who come from mid-tier agency is flop. F(x), even though they have great physical sales, can't attract the public with their edgy concepts. Red Velvet, who has done unique and quirky concepts, still can't beat aegyo-ish or innocent groups like Twice and Gfriend even though they come from bigger agency. Unless, the members are as talented as Mamamoo, I think it's hard to attract public with girl crush image if the groups come from small agency. I honestly curious of what concept Twice will have in their next comeback. If they stuck to their cute concept, Ifans would call them boring and mock them for having more male fans. But I also doubt JYP will take a big risk to give Twice girl crush concept because they are still rookie. They still need to gain more public recognition and build steady fanbase.
