    OMG I'm getting so excited !!!!!!!! What is this from ???? Is it reliable ??? (coz certain groups on the thing are coming back so ...)

    i don't think it's reliable because it seems they go by hearsay. lay's interview where he mentioned he would like to release in october is most likely what prompted them to add him to the list, but i'm doubtful. if the chinese fans aren't mentioning anything about a potential release, i doubt these guys would have more reliable info.

    It's common for SM groups to stay in each others' stages, but not common for groups from different companies stay together tho.... I don't even think it was for promotion, just because they are closer? I mean, EXO and SH*IN*ee shared the stage a few times during encores and I don't think they were promoting each other...

    it is still promotion, smtown promotion lol. in 2012, when exo was promoting mama shinee invited them on encore stages for sherlock too!

    in terms of using variety shows to appeal to the general public, and not just as an opportunity to appease the existing fanbase/get more fans, could it be because SM doesn't think the boys are good at variety? most of the members are introverts and their humor really works best when they interact with each other. i think this was best highlighted during the interviews we saw them have this promo period. what are people's expectations? which shows should they target? should they become permanent cast members? baekhyun's one appearance for that pilot episode never took off, but an attempt was made there. i think SM's plan to target the public is through acting, which will surely raise individual recognition, but it'll be interesting to see if that translates to the group. on the other hand, in terms of appeasing fans, i really really really hope they don't abandon vapp after their collab with naver is over for these "grand promotions".

    honestly speaking, i'm not surprised shitty SM didn't go all out. exo aren't a rookie group, it's not 2013 and they don't have to push so hard to really maximize on their insane momentum. still, i thought we would get a couple radio shows here and there and an appearance in china at the very least lol. apart from the remaining vapp videos, maybe they'll surprise us in the weeks before their tour starts. infinite challenge will still happen with a new song so that is something we should look forward to.
