Seohyun seems to be planning/hoping to work more on her acting career, however that doesn't push a solo out of the equation completely. It depends on whether or not SM actually lets her take on more opportunities or if she has to force past SM blocking her from other things. A problem I would have with a solo is what type of style/image she would have in the solo. Would she get to do something in her own style/with her own work or will they create an image for her whether she likes it or not?

She looked really nervous in the beginning imo like she knew she wasn't confident about the lyrics. It almost seems like he started walking over to support her. Whether or not that was the plan it was really cute he seemed like a comforting person esp seeing him with her after the performance.

I was watching this live and I actually thanked the camera man for getting that shot in that last gif, she looked amazing.

Best Comeback: Its between You Think x Dear Santa for me. You Think definitely showed off what Seohyun could do, and how much she's willing to push beyond the image that many people held of her before. I though Check was totally her (and Yuri's) song, before You Think came out and blew my mind. If they had a chance to perform it often and super live there is no doubt her vocals would be on point. You can see her killing the performance on stage. Even non-Sone have noticed how powerfully she performs in You Think. If you go to the mv or performances you'll see so many comments on her vocals/her dancing/her stage presence. Dear Santa was a much quieter victory for her, since she really was the first SM idol to write the title track for a comeback (even if it was just a very short comeback for charity). I think even Jonghyun didn't get to write his title track for his solo, despite being great writer. She looked beautiful and happy and we finally got to see the queen of winter in action. Best Vocal Performance: Seohyun has definitely shown that she has been trying her best to improve her vocals more and more and its actually kind of remarkable how stronger she's become in just one year! And her vocals were already great before then. My favorite examples of her vocals this year are: There's literally no buzz about this, but her vocals during her birthday party earlier this year. (that note at the end, I am living) (Similarly to Taeyeon's concerts, Seohyun was able to take one of their songs and do it in her own way. I'm hoping she gets a solo just so we can have her own concert and hear her sing variations of songs.) Also her strength in The Boys recently is out of this world (so many people talking about how strong her vocals were during Phantasia too) The best Seohyun + Unnies moment probably had to be on Channel SNSD during the whole revealing the true SNSD interrogation thing. It kind of showed how much Seohyun felt about how much she's grown over the years and how much she appreciated the support she got from them all. People may doubt how close SNSD can be all together (imo its impossible for so many people to be equally close with each other all the time, different combinations of them have different strengths to their friendships), but I have no doubt about how much all of SNSD care about Seohyun and vice versa. Also all of the Hyohyun moments that were unfortunately overshadowed by TaeNy and the strong YoonYul return. (gifs from tumblr user gwiseomi) Other Best Moments: Her Channel Seohyun and people noting how interesting and fun it was. And just how it brought Seohyun out of the range of an expected topic that they'd think of when it came to Seohyun (imo all of the members had very basic Channels, except maybe Yoona who had an entire cooking show set up which was pretty cool (and i really appreciated Taeyeon showing that you can have a good time relaxing alone). The other channels were pretty much light content, whereas Seohyun (and Yoona to an extent) went out of her way to do something different and entertaining. This Moment: Bonus: Her fashion explosion keeps getting stronger.

It makes me uncomfortable to see that people put their cameras that closely up in their faces. Its nice to see them, but I wish people would give them their own space.

Like anyone else, friends and family. Most of them live with their families anyway. Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Sunny probably have friends who take care of their pets when they're gone.

I know that sometimes celebrities are sponsored by designers to wear their clothes, but with this type of bag it might just be her own personal bag that she got for herself.

Am I the only one who really loves Seo with (actual) bangs?? I do agree that those four strands of hair combed over her forehead was tragic but she still looked adorable so imo its not that big of a deal really. There have been many hairstyles in the past that have been worst. Also we don't know who styled their hair for the m/v (???) so I dont think its fair to attack Tiffany so much for something she probably wasn't even responsible for. (shes usually in charge of designing the outfits ive never heard of her being in charge of the hair)

Possibly just because... Taeyeon would already be going, and if Tiffany and Seohyun didn't have any schedules on that then they could just send them all together as a unit instead of just her having to go completely alone and have to get back for the comeback alone. Also its good to have members there to cheer and be there for Taeyeon instead of her having to go up and accept an award alone. Thats my guess.

Since SM is so difficult when it comes to letting any members of SNSD write lyrics for songs , I'm anticipating that what Seohyun wrote for Dear Santa will be really good for it to even be the title track. (I'm new, but I check this thread everyday and decided to join because I'm excited for everything that is happening )
