Agencies could be strict but it depends on the type of pictures? Selfies are harmless, but problematic pics(holding up the middle finger, etc) or party pics where alcohol, cigarettes, etc. are visible would probably be frowned upon. I do think the girls need to be cautious of who they accept as followers in their private IG accounts, though. Scary as heck when devoted fans who have dirt on you end up turning on you(not saying this to anyone in particular, just saying that it's something that could happen based on my experience in the kpop fandom lol). Or if their friends are the ones leaking pics,then reevaluate their relationships lol (that is, if sharing pics is heavily forbidden by management, if not then carry on lol)

Don't care as long YG gives the girls exposure in those months. It's not as if he was going to debut them in the first part of this year since he hasn't done much to hype them up as a group yet(recently, I mean)... tho talks about anticipated 2016 rookies are bringing the girls' names out there somewhat. I think the reception for them is also quite positive compared to, say, 4 years ago.
