A lot of people (Once and antis) worried that Twice will become like Miss A with Tzuyu overshadowing other members... Well if I look back on it now that it's calming down, she kinda just overwhelmingly overshadowed all other Twice members, in such a big and unfortunate way that nobody could predict. I hope in the end as a whole Twice can use all of these unwanted attentions to hit daebak. Time for Korean companies to learn the error of their ways and feature Twice in their magazine covers and shower them with awards, starting with GDA.

With CCTV acknowledging Twice now, are there any statements or information on whether BTV will air Twice's recorded performance on its Spring Gala? Or An Hui TV to re-invite Twice again? Are there even any receipts for the fashion magazines statement to blacklist Twice? Are those already lifted?

Just adding some more translations because I love that they are also mostly sympathising with Tzuyu. [+1282, -32] Tibet is also the same however in politics and history, China and Taiwan cannot become one. On the contrary, now China is separated into four degrees. Maybe independence will possibly exists. [+908, -33] What the heck is this. What horrible people... Chinese communists! [+613, -29] Taiwan is Taiwan! Not China! [+582, -21] Taiwan flag exists, so waving it proudly should be fine. [+601, -34] Support Taiwan’s independence. Please fight! [+540, -19] Even though the country is big, but it is a country with small capacity. [+387, -13] Taiwan is not China.

Some other comments there basically said the same thing. I'll just translate some of the top comments. [+7964, -413] There is only one China. Taiwan is not China. [+7466, -301] One China. One Taiwan. What is the problem? Fighting, Taiwan! [+5286, -231] This is cruel talk. [+1756, -81] I hate China but I like Taiwan. [+1597, -61] Eh? Is Taiwan part of China? I feel sorry for Taiwanese people. [+1030, -33] Even though One China, passport is different. Why is this?

Considering the recent outburst of reporting, we better take new information with a grain of salt before treating it as the ultimate truth. Stay calm everyone and always ask for receipts!

Seems Chinese netizens are starting to ease up on Tzuyu and Taiwanese are still angry with China and JYP. Yaasss. Whoever wins the presidential election should strip that Huang An bully of his Taiwanese passport.

I don't know if this has been posted yet too many pages even after one refresh, but The Strait Times has release the article about Tzuyu. I hope news about fashion magazines blocking Tzuyu and Twice will reach the mainstream media bigwigs soon, so they will be pressured to publish Twice and not blacklist them. Imagine how the international community/general public will react to news of an underage girl gets her career destroyed by those big companies? Their brand names gonna be tarnished for sure and they will have no choice but to use Twice for their international publications.

Im'ma repeat this again. The 9 girls don't deserve this. Jihyo didn't train for 10 fucking years for this. The four foreign members didn't leave their countries, away from their families, to train and learn Korean language for this. They've worked their asses off and shed their fucking tears so that they can finally debut. They just wanted to be IDOLS, not fucking PRESIDENT. Please don't abandon them JYPE. I still have trust in JYPE as a company, that JYPE is a company with integrity and will stay to protect and support its artists until the end. Continue to promote them. Spun all of this attention to become positive for them. Make them global stars. I personally as a fan of Twice and avid follower of Hallyu wave, will continue to support Tzuyu and Twice. Anyone with Korean language knowledge, please help translate above so I can spam JYP's instagram with it.

Is it just me but has anyone notices that some of the posts supporting Tzuyu and critiquing C-netz getting negs? I've noticed it happens with some of mine... Have C-netz started to invade this forum and form a neg squad?

CNA Taiwan has reported the news about Tzuyu in a Japanese language article a few days back... http://japan.cna.com.tw/news/aart/201601120011.aspx http://japan.cna.com.tw/news/aart/201601150006.aspx It is not a huge news outlet for Japanese people but I don't know if more mainstream Japanese media will pick up on the story because of it. EDIT: Apparently it's already getting picked up by KBS Japan, infoseek, excite, some blogs and Japanese news sites which focus on K-Pop.

Speaking of colour pop, I always thought JYPE got some of his ideas for Twice from E-Girls. One of E-Girls album a few years back is titled COLORFUL POP... I hope they can comeback with some JYP's masterpieces like Nobody or So Hot. I would love to see something like f(x)'s Hot Summer too. I want a cooler dance break from Momo and I want a memorable choreography like SNSD's Hoot arrow pointing dance. I wish they can get a new peak. Hope the K-netz sympathising with Tzuyu will start streaming Like Ooh Ahh.

RT-ing like no tomorrow right now. It's 1.10 AM here and I couldn't sleep. I think this is one of the very few scandal in entertainment that got me feeling emotional on some level. Because I really felt strongly that Tzuyu is 150% innocent victim in this and the way she looked in the video is just...

Even BBC reported the AKB48 scandal in which a member had her head shaved and apologised in a YouTube video. The company had to take down the video because of the backlash they've received internationally. If a reputable mainstream media outlet reports this, it's going to be huge with the international community expressing their support and sympathies for Tzuyu while C-netz will continue to make up stories of how JYPE manipulated the international sentiment.

What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. In a sense, she has hit rock-bottom, hence she and Twice can do nothing else but go up from here onwards. Hopefully everyone who supports her and Twice now will continue to support them for a very long time. I wish Tzuyu and the rest of the members to find strength, be strengthened in their bond of going through hard time and support each other. May none of them think of giving up or leaving, but instead looking forward to do better in the future and prove haters wrong. On another note, anyone knows if we can help stream Like Ooh Ahh in Melon? Or find a way to contact K-netz hive to help them hit a new peak? It'll be a great present for them in the midst of this storm.

I dislike the video too. I fully support JYPE on their initial two statements and JYP's personal statement on the matter. But I couldn't bring myself to support Tzuyu's video. Regardless of whether Tzuyu is willing to do the video for the sake of her team, sunbaenims and company doesn't matter. As a minor, she should have an adult representing her in stuff that she shouldn't be allowed to participate in. Taiwan's legal age to vote is 20 years old. She's just 16 years old. She shouldn't participate in politics. Even when she's accused of such, she should have her legal guardian who is an adult, representing her in the situation. Which bring me to another question... Where are her parents in this? Even the adult women beater Kim Hyun Joong got his parents talking on behalf of him to the media to help shield him. This reminded me of a situation I've faced before at work. A colleague of mine made a small mistake which made one of the biggest client we have worldwide, one of the biggest in Asia to be offended and they demanded him to be fired from our company even after he apologised. What did the management do? First, they did damage control by trying to spin that the it is just a misunderstanding. The client of course didn't accept it. The top management apologised together with him directly to the client bigwigs. The management apologises and accepts it as a company fault, not a single employee staff. Client still demand he got fired. The company defended him and moved him to a different client instead. It might be a small issue compared to this which invokes the wrath of a communist country. But I can draw a bit of comparison to it... At the end, company will always prioritise their business instead of their employees' well-beings, but it is the process to get through the last worse action that will count. I felt like JYPE is trying their best early on, but then they suddenly gave in to all the pressure at once. It made them look wishy washy. On a positive note, if more people are hating on JYPE than Tzuyu itself, I guess it is still better. One more thing which affected me on a personal level which is why I lost my shit earlier is the fact that she had to denounce her upbringing on a damn video. I couldn't even get past 5 seconds because I felt like crying already. JYPE's 2nd statement already humiliated and stripped her of her pride. The video is just nail to the coffin. I am a 2nd/3rd generation Chinese and my late grandparents are from China. I remembered when my parents had to tell me that because they are Chinese, they are stripped of their right to go to school because the government closed down the Chinese school and they couldn't even use their Chinese names, speak Chinese language, couldn't even obtain marriage certificate because even though my dad is already born in the country he was still not granted citizenship. There were younger generations of Chinese people in other countries being victims to xenophobic attitude, yet C-netz did the same thing towards a young, minor Taiwanese girl who is just trying to sing and dance. Can't they just turn their sentiment to help their own people instead of attacking an innocent and stripping her of her identity?

The comments section of her video is a mess right now... I really don't understand why C-netz are hell bent on hating on an underage girl. Can't they do something better in their life with their amount of dedication??? Go volunteer for the earthquake victims in China or something.

The fuck? Their delusion is on another level. JYPE is not even that powerful compared to two other Big 3 entertainment companies from Korea. JYPE is just a Korean entertainment company for fuck's sake. They don't even have the power to win a domestic lawsuit in Korea, much less influencing the whole international community. C-netz should've realise that it's their own deranged actions of cyberbullying a 16 years old girl that is causing the current negative sentiment towards them.
