I know kpop on the whole is pretty PG but my nephew is 5 y.o and has really been getting into kpop lately (because he watches youtube over my shoulder constantly). He really likes EXO - Power , Aespa - Savage, Twice - Signal etc. So when I say kid friendly I mean busy, lots of effects, and maybe animation and also maybe a story line simple enough for a 5 y.o to get. He loves EXO/Aespa fighting robots and bad guys in their mvs more than anything else right now. Today is his first day back at school, and he didn't seem too excited about it, so I want to make him a playlist we can watch when he gets back.

Two of Key's dancers from his promotional cycle for Bad Love! 1) Haesung: honestly just because he has been dancing with Key for such a long time- since his solo debut in 2018- and went to visit him/updated us while Key was in the military. He also worked with Sunmi on 'You Can't Sit With Us' and Kang Daniel on 'Paranoia'. And seems like a hard working dancer and all round cool dude https://instagram.com/p/CU2DqTopx9a/ https://instagram.com/p/B3Q9mUTAV2z/ https://instagram.com/p/CXf18HBJahR/ 2) Black.Q: He was on Key's dance team for Bad Love but also choreographed Helium!!!, and directed what in my biased opinion was the best stage at the Gayo Daejeon . He has also worked with BlackPink + was on Rose's dance team for OTG. https://instagram.com/p/CX59-I5pKfe/ https://instagram.com/p/CXgNIXXpAGJ/

Jae calls Jamie a 'thot' on Twitch, is called out by Jamie
Sohryu replied to gam3 bo1's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
This is so messy.... Jae... Needs to sit down and reevaluate his priorities. Unless he actually thinks appeasing incels on Twitch is worth losing friends over. Then he's getting what he deserves I guess. Gutted for Jamie though, she's so sweet, she really doesn't deserve to get dragged into his saga of the week nonsense. -
It always surprises me how many people know so little about foreign politics.
Sohryu replied to Thatoneuser's topic in Random
I used to be that way- but intentionally, because keeping up with global politics used to give me severe anxiety, I was constantly on edge. Then I started educating myself on local politics when I was old enough to vote and learning more about global politics followed. That being said, I think a lot of people would rather remain ignorant than actively seek out what's going on in the world (esp if it doesn't affect them directly)- because it can be super stressful to receive a constant cycle of news about how awful everything is. Idk. -
Stay safe!!! Don't get onto fancy boats with strange men! I've listened to too many true crime podcasts that started that way! but also honestly (I'm the exact same age as you btw) if I was in your position, at this stage in my life, I would be securing that bag.

[PANN] Winter’s facial expressions on stage are worse than I thought
Sohryu replied to Aegyo's topic in Netizen Nation
I'm not a My but this rubs me the wrong way. It stands to reason that as a rookie, in a group with her seniors, she's obviously not going to be the most charismatic person in the room though. i haven't watched enough of aespa's stages to know how she fares with her group mates, but i think people on the internet are so incredibly harsh on aespa (esp Winter/Karina) for little to no reason. It hasn't been long since they debuted, so she'll likely improve with time. It's a bit ridiculous that theres absolutely no room to grow/learn/improve for rookies these days- they're just expected to be flawless out of the gate? Anyway I hope they all have strong mentalities and don't spend too much time looking up their related forum posts etc.- 25 replies

i wish i could use multiple reacts so i could give you a star, a heart and the tea react thingy. I spent so much of my teens and early twenties trying so so hard to avoid big fandoms or anything stereotypically associated with tween/teen girls because i was mortally terrified of not seeming cool i guess???? (i think the fact that i only have an older brother and kind of parroted his interests were probably a huge contributing factor too). anyway i'm really glad i stopped being annoying and learnt its okay to like the things you like and not care what other people think.

i actually really liked the song but i need to listen to it a few more times to tell if i like because its good or because i have very gay feelings about more than 50% of the women in this group. edit: on my second listen and i think its both; i like the song quite a bit but also. women.

Bad Love by Key. I'm sorry this is so long winded, I have a lot of feelings about this song/album/artist and this is as condensed as I could manage: Firstly, its a concept he has been thinking about for almost 14 years. To quote Key himself in an interview for NME: “I finally became ‘me’. I have a chance to show the audience that this is me. This album is the album-version of Key.” Regarding the title track itself, for me, its just the perfect blend of retro-synth and sci-fi space drama. In terms of vocals Key really pushed himself- the runs still give me goosebumps. Also there's the screaming vocal overlay that I really love and the chorus is such an earworm. My favourite part of the song honestly is the end bit where the music becomes muted and its just haunting vocals. On top of that the choreography is really great too. It makes me really happy that it was featured in the top 3/ top 10/ top 20 etc, of so many publications' year end lists. It deserves all the recognition. I know you said tittle track specifically but the album as a whole is really great- its just a really cohesive well structured body of work with the tittle track at its centre, amplified by the fact that Key was involved in every aspect; from the sci-fi horror album concept, to the David Bowie inspired styling.

There's this quiz/test thing currently trending on the korean forum The Qoo where you answer some questions and it gives you an analysis of your personality and a colour for 2022. The creator made an english version but I think they used a translator because its a bit off at times, but its still understandable enough and fun. English Link: https://ktestone.com/kapable.github.io/personalColor2022Eng/ if you take it! post your results here!! mine:
