I understand, heteronormativity is still the dominant norm in most places. And this comes much from the fact that lgbtqi+ has very little representation in society as a whole. Society still forces you to be straight. I spent all my adolescence showing zero interest in boys but I only start to really see myself with girls, to realize that its fine to like girls when I started to frequent places with a higher LGBTQI+ representation.

Airplane is one of my favorites b-side! I was super happy that it was chosen as 1st place! On a side note, even Billboard promote f(x) better than SM...

I can relate to much of what you wrote ... Growing up in a Catholic home made me ignore my attraction to girls for a long time, especially because of the view that much of my family has about homosexuals ... Only when I went to college and I was able to interact with a more diverse group of people, I was able to accept this part of myself and even then I still have a long way to go ... In those cases where you live in a place like Korea or your family is prejudiced or religious in the extreme, it is much safer to try to forget this attraction for girls and dating only boys, so I do not wonder that idols like Taeyeon, Krystal, Hani have boyfriends even if I believe that they are at least bi..
