Oh my god, I thought there's another controversy, my heart is not yet ready 

But she still has to appear on two shows every week, means she almost has no time to recover and fix herself emotionally and mentally. And with everything blowing up right now, she's definitely not okay soon   

 

 

What do we do now  , I feel like burst out crying right now, she will blame herself for affecting her members, what if it affects her health, what if she suffers a relapse from her enteritis, what if she takes tranquilizers again like on RS    

 This is the worst part, we can't do anything

I don't even know what exact words to write to encourage her on IG or if it will help

While PDs and staff who work with her, know her in person, close to her, always give her lots of love and express their admiration for her, speak out against the hateful comments to defend her. 

And then we have people out there, don't even know her, don't even know what she's going through or those situations, judge and bash her as if they know everything, what's wrong with these ugly people in this crazy world 

 

 

What if it's blowing up really big in Korea   

That's what's concerning me.... If this is nate or pann I wouldn't mind but this is naver we are talking about. Seeing the upvotes makes me feel so down  I don't think these people commenting are just merely haters, these are the public.

I'm concerned of Hani's/EXID's image and popularity but I'm more concerned on Hani's well-being. The comments are personally attacking her saying she is mentally ill and that she needs consultation. What if its affecting her? What if it gets thru her head? What if she drastically change because of this and be an emotionless robot? We don't even really know if she's really depressed or not but people seems so keen with this conclusion. Sigh, what is going on

But..... the damage is already done.... This article has been trending on naver for hours, I'm waiting for NB's translation but what I got from google translate is the comments were saying the PDs were just making up excuses to shield Hani...

Whether her crying is justifiable or not, knets are already annoyed with her :(

I still think she needs a time off from these variety show to cool things down...

I want to say to Hani to not give a fuck about these comments but in reality, it doesn't work that way in Korea. Its not like in the US where controversies makes celebs more famous. As much as I don't want to admit it but Hani needs the public....

True, I was only worried bc one of the article she posted had over 10k upvotes so it seemed the whole thing got kinda big. 

At first I'm not so worried about this issue but its really getting out of hand now, I don't know what to think anymore... The top comment on her new star king article on naver has 16k+ upvotes now followed by 12k+ upvotes followed by 11k+ upvotes and so on.... I don't know if this is alarming or not but still its depressing as a fan seeing your bias has those number of upvotes with negative comments, and we all know Hani reads these comments....

I seriously think Hani needs to take a break from variety shows, whether she's suffering from depressions or not..... This is not going to stop if she keeps appearing. People will always find a way to comment about her crying for every variety show she's on now because that's what they're remembering from her as of late :(

I try to brush off all these negative comments like I said in the EXID thread, but now I know its hard to ignore... Its exhausting for me, what more to Hani :( I just can't imagine what she's feeling right now, I can only hope that she's ok :(

my bad i misread your input, but at the start of their popularity, only time she ever cried was from music show wins, i havent seen her cry from anything little before that time  where she got really scared because Up & Down started playing out of nowhere. (thats justifiable tbh, she was scared)

I can't understand the SMA crying incident either but I'm not in her position so who am I to know what she's actually feeling in that moment.

She cried at Crime Scene tons of times, Same Bed, Mask King, A Style For You, My Little Television, teared up in Showtime, during an interview with Moon Hee Joon. She cried from silly things to very emotional things. So this crying thing is nothing new to me... And its really hard to hold back tears you know, if it triggers you. I teared up for silly things too even in front of my family/friends, I tried countless times to hold it back because I don't want them to see but I can't no matter how badly I want to.

The thing is, people have different triggers. The other day, I even cried while watching a scene of Oh Yeon Seo & Honey Lee just eating. We can all assume that we might know what's going on with Hani, but in reality we don't really know what she's thinking or feeling at any moment. If I can cry on 2 fictional characters just eating, what do we really know about Hani's emotional triggers especially since it's influenced by a real environment? I'm not saying this just so I can defend them or anything because EXID is my bias, I'm saying this because I sympathize her. I don't easily cry on things that other people might find emotional, but when it hits you, it just do. Of course, I get it that other people might find it a different case because she's a public figure and that means she should do a better job keeping herself together, but I think it's not something to start feeling disappointed about. People might say "Oh, is she going to cry again" just like when they keep relating everything Sulli posts as sexual innuendos or Lee Byung Hun to cheating, or accussing IU of pedo or Seolhyun of media play, and there's nothing much we can do about it. At the end of the day, we don't really know what's going on with her. It's not something that should be discussed extensively just because other people find it cringeworthy. Let's let her breathe, give her time. She's human, not a robot that was built to please everyone.

ive been there since the beginning, and i dont even get why she's emotional like this all of a sudden, looking back at past troubles i get, i just dont see the reason to cry over it more then once is all, be who you are, all for it. but know when to play those cards so you wont get hated on all the time for it.

Just want to clarify, no, I don't think she's depressed lol I think she's just being herself. She gets emotional over small things, even just seeing someone cry even for that reason alone, she will tear up easily.

as much as i love exid to bits and having them as my bias group, don't you guys just think that Hani's crying is going overboard? I try to defend her as much as I can but considering how she already received so much criticism in the past and just recently, it just seems so unnecessary. She holds a great responsibility and weight for the group and I'm starting to feel disappointed with her actions. All this random crying could be detrimental to the group's fate. If she continues this, a simple article about an EXID group selca could be filled with "So hani wants to cry again" "crying hair roll girl" etc. Even a big number of i-fans are finding this cringeworthy and unncecessary. I might get hate from the leggos in this thread, but I just want to share my two cents on this issue.

I get where you're coming from and you have a point... But this is the Hani we know, she's been a crybaby ever since even before the dating scandal.... Hani is Hani and I will always love her for that. If she gets hated for being herself then what should she do? Do you guys want her to change just so she can please everyone?

Leggos should start preparing for this.. Hani said so way back that she don't want to renew her contract because she's tired of the competitions and stuff with the idol life and wants to pursue psychology. Yes, she took her words back because fans complained but I know in my heart this is what she truly wants... And by 2019, Solji will be 30 years old. I think she would want to get married around that time...

She can't do anything about it if she's too emotional.... Or unless she goes to workshop or something, but I don't know how does that work. Variety shows captures real reactions/emotions from their guests/hosts, if that's how Hani reacted, we just have to accept it.

She cried tons of times in Crime Scene and they thought its cute, she cried on Same Bed Different Dreams too and they sympathized with her... but now that she's dating they suddenly changed their minds and thought it was cringey.

We just need to accept that she's gonna receive more and more negative comments. Hani's past the phase where everyone and their mothers adore her. I guess that's how it works once you're revealed to be dating    

The important thing is us fans don't change the way we think of her. That's all that matters.

But I do hope Hani is too busy to read articles and comments about her. I don't want her to change just because of the comments she reads on the internet.

To be honest, I'm a little worried, and I don't want to see her with JYP in the same show at all >.<. Last year, she's already got bashed a lot by that company stans because of the thing she used to be a trainee under JYP >.<, so I don't want it to be mentioned or discussed again >.<

People bashed her then because Hani was new in the public's eyes and they're accusing that she kept media playing to gain attention. But as we can see, Hani doesn't need "media playing" anymore, she just breathes and there will be articles about her  And everybody knows by now that she was a former JYP trainee so I don't think it will be a big deal. I think it would be fun

Hani and JYP ahhhhhh, I've never imagined I'll be seeing them interacting in the same show together, I've always wondered what is JYP's thoughts regarding Hani.

And maybe we can get some flashback videos again from Hani's JYP audition

Her short hair looks good on her but but.... her shiny long hair is my 2nd favorite physical feature of her, (1st is her eyes of course), I miss her long hair already 

On the bright side, does it mean their comeback is just around the corner? 

One more news, Hani will be the new MC for Weekly Idol, wonder if it's just 1 episode or more or permanent MC......

Hani looks good in those airport photos even though her face is covered  I only need to see her mesmerizing eyes anyway and it'll be enough 

So, her first activity after her break will be EXID's Fanmeeting on 18th March this week with her members, finally can see 5 of them together  , and will come back to recording for "Baek Jong Won's 3 Kings" next week, wonder whether she makes a full recovery from enteritis disease...

I've read thru the first 15 episodes and the webtoon is clearly all about the lead guy and his daily life. Hani's character is just a supporting role but her character is interesting and not boring. Though this is not my style of comedy, I did had a few laughs

Don't worry... Here in Spain there are sitcoms that are 10/15 minutes long and believe me when I say that you can tell a lot of things in just 10 minutes. I think it would be like a mini-story that tells us little by little something about the life of some characters. But 10 minutes isn't a long time of period, so they have to prepare really well the organization of each scene 

If you said it then I'll believe you 

Maybe I just watch too many US Sitcoms that I already had a standard in my head, this is new to me. I'll just hope for the best I guess.

Guys, don't freak out. It's a sitcom, with good actors and I think that the period time and the number of episodes are just if not perfect, enough. Hani isn't an actress, Hani has never acted before... Why are you like this? Is it because the sitcom has 10 episodes and each airing 10 minutes? Or what?

Hani can do her debut as an actress with something easy and not too much stressing for her (she is resting now, do you remember?). We have to be thankful if she can debut as an actress with a sitcom like this... Junghwa is going to act on another webtoon drama and both of them are having oportunities... I hope the rest will have special projects in the future, specially Hyerin and LE 

 

I think Hani would love to act on this kind of project... Plus, if she acts well Korean netizens will want to see her on more dramas, it goes the same for Junghwa... If Hani doesn't act well (I really doubt it), Korean netizens won't be too hard with her because the project is small 

My only concern is the duration of each episodes being only 10min?? Where do you see a sitcom that's only 10min long? How can they develop a proper story? They're not the only characters there right? Is it a one location setting? I wonder if Hani will only get 1 to 2 lines per episode, the way I imagine it now is like an SNL skit. I wouldn't consider this as Hani's acting debut if it turns out the way I pictured it. Might as well call her previous guestings on SNL her acting debut. I could be wrong though, and I hope I'm wrong.

I'm so happy that Hani is finally venturing into the acting world and sitcom is a perfect fit but I feel somewhat indifferent about this. Why is it only a 10min per episode? Why? Is it a super short story?
