i don't want to defend sm and i do think they're responsible esp. after two of their artists committed suicide. but honestly all they can do as a company is just to provide support for their artists' mental health (maybe by giving consultation or providing psychiatrists and mental health department). it's not like they can monitor each of their people individually every time. yes, being an SM artist can be quite stressful with the lack of job schedule (or perhaps a full one instead). but let's be real exactly that's not the main reason that pushed sulli to commit suicide. what about looking at the society itself? the way all these celebrities are perceived once they do something even slightly wrong (or unusual) - it's like they get attacked by a swarm of bees through online anonymous comments. sm is certainly accountable due to its lack of awareness and ignorance towards their artists, but all the faults shouldn't definitely be blamed on them.

really really recommend you all to read KINGDOM (esp. for those who enjoy long adventure action-packed manga) seriously like it's SO good and i'm upset not many people have read this masterpiece it's a weekly seinen manga and comes from the same magazine as tokyo ghoul:re fyi kinda similar with berserk because of all the war battles and monarchy states political stuff the manga is still ongoing with 500-ish chapters (meaning plenty of materials) + i spent like 4-5 days with barely any sleep to read all of this in one go HAVE NOT REGRET IT ONE BIT AND if you're still not convinced yet .... this manga was actually the third top-selling manga in Japan by series last year so there you have it folks

i used to follow lots of mangas (basically any genre) but nowadays they're mostly shounen & seinen mangas to give you a list (these ones are those that i highly recommend): shingeki no kyojin haikyuu kingdom berserk akatsuki no yona yakusoku no neverland i also follow boku no hero academia and shokugeki no soma along with some new ones like robot x laserbeam and jagaaaaaan (to kill time since i'm bored) p.s. and i'm planning to start reading tokyo ghoul:re and vinland saga somewhere in the future

just watched it yesterday and today i'm watching it for the second time IT IS THAT GOOD FOR ME personally i don't really mind the low quality but ofc it's makoto shinkai's so the movie will be so much better in HQ definitely going to buy it on blu-ray once it comes out
