probably most of them - they are young, gorgeous and talented and surrounded by other young, gorgeous and talented people lmao

Then I wondered, why didn't people find out then? I mean, they are famous, they are popular, there are many fans/stalkers around them. The chance of getting detected is so high, yet during the past 3 generations we only found out a couple of them.

i listened to their discography not too long ago and the only song i really liked was moon.  i think their aesthetic is pretty cool (their la di da concept photos with the black outfits were amazing tbh), but their music isn't really for me.

This happened to me too. But when I gave the songs one more try I became hooked. Thats why nowadays I don't delete songs immediately, I decided after 3 listens at least.

They have been putting out quality material from the beginning that I have enjoyed. I still can't pick my bias between EU and Yiren lol.

I really like Yiren because she has such an impressive charisma.

    Songs are a bop.
They're one of the few 4th gen ggs I know (if not the ONLY 4th gen gg) who can dance in heels.
Wish their line distribution could be a bit fairer though.
Also knetz hating on them just bc they're under a Chinese label should take a hike.
Cnetz should take a hike too for petitioning for Yiren's punishment just bc Everglow performed in front of the SK army.
Corona should take a hike too, for cockblocking their world tour.

They can go suck an egg

  6. I heard about Everglow since their debut but didn't really pay attention to them until now.

I'm very picky when it comes to music and Everglow has had very high Good Songs to all songs ratio in my book (for example I love APink but only 15% of their tracks are my favorites). Imo, very solid discography by far. All title tracks have been amazing and Bsides are even better. Not to mention their choreography is just badass. BBC's dance is one of my favorites of all time for sure. When it comes to vocal skills honestly I think they sound good enough, despite the fact that this group is quite lacking, like people said. I don't dig deep into this and as long as they don't sound like AKB48 I'm fine with it. I don't prioritize visuals either but all of them are really pretty (Mia marry me, lol?).

I wish them the best. Can't wait for their next cb. And I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions.

  8. As someone who got bullied in high school and has depression for 20+ years, I feel like I can relate so much to Mina's situation. I don't know exactly what's all behind this, but at least I sympathize with her.

Having read about AOA's scandal, I kinda lost faith in the Kpop industry. I mean I'm not really a hardcore fan by any means, but still felt hurt a little. What's happened to Kpop recently just makes me feel like I should just be a casual fan, for the sake of my mental health alone.

When we are fans, we tend to pick our favorite groups and bias. We see what we're supposed to see on public media. But we mostly likely don't know the truth behind the screen. This makes me wonder, what's the point of stanning my faves while I know nothing about them?  My bias could be angels, but they could turn out like another Jimin. Imagine AOA's fans who loved Jimin so much and it'll be heartbreaking when they knew how their bias turned out as a person.

I honestly don't know what I should be as a fan now. I love Kpop and want to support it, but at the same time I'm scared my mental health will be hurt even more. Sometimes I feel like being a super casual listener will be better for me. I won't have to care about the cool members, the fun variety shows, the beautiful MVs, the awesome stage perfs,... All those things will now be just music sung by abc xyz.

Sorry guys for all the rants in poor English, but at least I'm relieved I let it out. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

  9. It's sad I've only been to 2 countries and it's not even about traveling for fun. I was born and raised in Vietnam then moved to the US when I was 21. Since then I've only been to 3 other States in the country. I'm saving money to travel later in my life.

  10. I've been listening to Kpop for over a decade. However, I don't have any "real life" friend to share or discuss Kpop with, other than my cousins. But they are like 15 years younger than me. All the Kpop friends I met are online friends. I just wish they lived close to me so we can hang out. Imagine how awesome it would be to talk about kpop with them in person. Isn't sad thinking about it? Am I missing out?

  11. According to what friend told me, I was just a casual fan.

I mostly listen to full albums and watch MVs. I rarely watch variety shows. Don't know anything about album sales either. Can't keep up with my faves' stage performances.

I'll try to be more active as fan. But how would you define the term Casual Fan ?
