Kim Ok Bin Is An Ambitious And Intelligent Woman In First Stills For Upcoming tvN Drama Kim Ok Bin has made a transformation into her character Tae Al Ha for tvN’s upcoming weekend drama “Arthdal Chronicles†(literal translation). “Arthdal Chronicles†will premiere in June as the follow-up to “Confession†and will tell the story of heroes and their fate as legends in the fictional city of Arthdal. Kim Ok Bin will play Tae Al Ha, the daughter of the chief of a seafaring tribe that introduced new skills and technology. She is hungry for power and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it. The new stills reflect this as Kim Ok Bin stands tall with ambition in her eyes. Anticipation is high to see how Tae Al Ha uses everything she has to rise to power. Screenwriters Kim Young Hyun and Park Sang Yeon said, “Tae Al Ha stands out the most and is the smartest and most beautiful character in the drama, but because of the changing times as society moves to a patriarchal structure, she suffers because of her beauty.†They added, “However, Tae Al Ha does not simply accept the reality she faces. She uses everything and everyone, from her father to her lover to her family status, to find a path for herself.†They also added, “Tae Al Ha was a gifted warrior from a young age and she is extremely intelligent with great knowledge in the sciences, but she has had to hide that side of her. When writing out the character, we couldn’t think of anyone else to play the role than Kim Ok Bin.†“Arthdal Chronicles†will premiere in June.

VIXX’s Hyuk Joins Song Seung Heon, Lee Sun Bin, And More In Upcoming tvN Drama VIXX’s Hyuk has been cast in a new tvN drama called “The Great Show†(literal title). The drama stars Song Seung Heon in the role of former Assemblyman Wi Dae Han, who takes in four troublemaker siblings while trying to reenter the Assembly. Hyuk will be taking on the role of an idol trainee named Choi Jung Woo, the boyfriend of Wi Dae Han’s daughter Han Da Jung (played by Noh Jung Ui). Choi Jung Woo is a character that has received a lot of love since childhood for his looks and playful charm, but has not experienced true love himself.
