I don't really want to talk about it, because I feel like everyone will be adding their feelings in on this for a long time. Just that, when I read it, I wasn't surprised? They had a phenomenal 2015, so it's disappointing and shocking to see them leave right after that, but I understand that you cannot choose when a contract ends. I harbor no bad feelings towards them. I am just grateful for all the years they spent working in the group and how much they dedicated to making the group succeed. My only wish is that they continue to remain close with the other members and find happiness in whatever they choose to do. They've put in all the years of effort, it is time for them to rest now. As for the remaining 6, I will always support them and be interested in them, but I do wonder what comes next. I won't be surprised if Nine Muses is left in a dungeon or disband, but at the same time I also won't be surprised if they just keep pushing and working. At the end of the day, it's up to them and I'll support whatever they do. It sucks, but crying about it at this point seems pointless. The most we can do is accept it and offer our support to Euaerin and Minha, our thanks for their works, and our condolences to the other members.

From South Africa it will set me back a couple of thousands of Rands. It is almost half of my paycheck to get the book here. And they dont even ship here, so.

Money is important, yes, but I don't think thats the entire reason they are staying in Nine Muses. If they wanted more money they would have left a long time ago. There is something about the group that also makes the girls happy, and that's mainly what I want for them. A comfortable living and happiness.

This is good, to be honest. I think it kind of cements what I was saying. If they keep where they are now and work like they are doing now, they will be alright for the future. Nine Muses was below 21 pre-2015 lineup and now they have managed to get into the top 20. The last I remember they were 20 or 21 so it's good to see them climbing. I'm happy for them

In my honest opinion, if the girls just stick as they are now and keep working like they are now (and SE keeps at it like they are now) I think Nine Muses can really cement their place in the industry. Yes, maybe they won't become popular, but I think they could potentially squeeze out a win somewhere if they stay like this. They have a dedicated fanbase and netizen attention. It's like Solomon said, its a comfortable living now and as long as they're happy I'm happy. I think as fans we are too obsessed with the idea of them becoming BIG and we are forgetting to just enjoy what they are now and enjoy what they produce instead of waiting for their next comeback to be THE THING that makes them famous. They don't need a new member to bring them attention, they don't need a famous producer, they don't need the stars to align. In my opinion, constant work where they are now will get them where they want to be. I just care that they keep producing great music and things for us to watch and that they're happy. I don't know why we as fans are so obsessed with the idea that they should be POPULAR or FAMOUS. I mean have you seen popular groups these days? Its awful.

I dont think adding another member will help Nine Muses reputation at all, honestly.

Because the Nine Muses curse :( Also people are more likely to look at Kyungri, and most netizens will look past her because 'ugh she's new'

Have to admit, I'm really impressed currently with *gasp* Star Empire and their promotion of Nine Muses. Yes, they have been terrible in the past, and yes of course the promotion could be better, but at this point we should take out victories and congratulate when necessary because if we ever want the company to improve we need to congratulate when things are good. And with how they're handling the MakeStar photobook... it's good. Not only did they build some hype, but they let Nine Muses take control of the project. It feels like something special, they are honoring the group's anniversary while giving more freedom to the girls. Not to mention they including fans and building positive buzz (such as donating proceeds to charity, getting signed copies), and even creating and responding to new goals on the funding page. Plus the photobook looks to be top quality. If we get a comeback in the next few months... now will be an amazing time to be a Nine Muses fan.

I don't think this is fair to Safari. I've been a Nine Muses fan since the end of 2013 and I'm totally in love with the current lineup. People took the leave of those 3 members very badly, and although I admit it was really sad at the time and it was a hit, Nine Muses only came back stronger with a group I love more. Of course we all have personal preference, but just because you didn't 'know' the last 3 members doesn't mean you would have to have liked them or you would have to prefer the 2013 lineup.

We need far more Keumjo love on this thread. I don't know why she's the least popular member, she has personality in spades. EDIT 1. Sojin 2. Hyuna 3. Keumjo 4. Kyungri 5. Euaerin 6. Hyemi = Sungah = Minha I dont want to start numbering people down to 8 because I feel that gives the impression that I don't care about them when I do T_T In other news, Keumjo is pushing people off the bias list. She's coming for Hyuna.

I agree with you here, but it may play in favour of Nine Muses. It depends, but if the show for the new girl group/Hyeri has a lot of featurings of Nine Muses her popularity could open the spotlight onto Nine Muses and gain attention for them. The one great thing about Nine Muses is that they are visually striking. Lots of people may not know them, but most of the time when someone does see them they always comment on how hot they are. That kind of potential would work well in a featuring, because Joe Soap will see a hot lady and look them up. Just a thought anyway. A show for the new girl group may not necessarily mean a downfall for Nine Muses, if SE play it cleverly.

Honestly, I think it depends. Right now, I reckon Nine Muses is Star Empire's golden ticket. They are most likely the biggest income for the company and have the biggest public recognition, so ignoring them wouldn't help them in any way. However, if they newer groups become huge sensations or get a lot of recognition, they might be put back on the shelf (like Seventeen has halted anything else coming out of Pledis (although After School was already dead before...))
