I've been so consumed with the news of Stephen Hawking's death that I only just found out about Tiffany's single. Love it! Even if it wasn't released when she wanted... I only listened before I found out it was a leak, I swear!

What an awful day. We can only hope that Jonghyun's family will recover one day, and the same for his members, friends and fans. I only have a couple of SHINee albums, but they're a good couple and without him they wouldn't be the same. Listening to them today, his death finally sank in. I know this isn't a SHINee or Jonghyun thread, but honestly, I think every thread is today. RIP Jonghyun. I'm sorry you couldn't hold on. xxx

You conveyed my feelings very well. I don't want to be overtly bitter or cynical, but they really deserved so much better. We discovered Soshi at about the same time, and I remember wondering whether they would make it ten years, and imagining the show stopping comeback that might be put together for them, and then for them to have been so blatantly mistreated is - well, an impossible pill to swallow. I won't necessarily be "leaving k-pop" as some have said they are, but this has certainly ended my links to other SM artists. It's all benefit to the company anyway - f(x) or Red Velvet aren't helped by album sales, digital ones, MV views... It all goes to SM. Sorry for the tangent! That was a really good blog. 10/10.

I know it'll probably be at least a few hours before we hear anything, but I'm itching for news. Like, are our newly liberated ladies already searching for agencies? Do they have ones picked out because they're forward thinking a.f.? (Will any of them join a certain agency beginning with C?...) I can't stand all this stillness!

I'm playing an all Soshi, all night list right now, and it's making me wish like I used to that Soshified had found a way of publishing DVDs of their subtitled Soshi episodes. I'd love to be able to watch Hello Baby or any of those other old shows on my TV right now.

At first I was honestly numb with shock, but now I'm actually beginning to feel a bit excited. Just imagine all the possibilities for the members now!

I hear now that they're trying to stay an eight member group... in different companies. Not sure what that means, or whether it's even possible, but it's an interesting tidbit.
