  2. i think because ifans will check out everything kpop casually and many are multi-idol stans while the korean fans usually just hard stan one group and watch out for threats. basically ifans will take a bite of anything served to them but for koreans they kinda have to be shoved down a bit, so staying humble and quiet wont do. im not saying jyp should dickride and drag any top groups, but cant they just brag a little with facts like their skills are seriously no joke. they are not kids who produce mediocre songs for the sake of getting the producer title, many of their songs legit could pass off as title tracks, main rappers are not rappers because they cant do anything other than talking fast, they are all at least lead vocals at minimum. jyp need to provoke the public a bit so they'll be triggered to check if jyp is saying the truth.

    Agree..

JYP should push them harder on TV not just on SKZ YouTube.

About their career pace, SKZ said its maybe slow but maybe thats their pace and they will not give up. JYP told them, its the best pace for growing as an artist not just an idol, i hope K-STAYs are growing bigger..

  3. so the rankings are not that different after all, basically D1 never improved! jyp should fire the entire division, the contents they created were all aimed at existing fandom and probably reached several non-stay kpop fans. they really have no solution to reach the public and it's such a huge shame!!

Hope this comeback can flip the conditions

  4. on a positive note, stray kids have been trending on melon rising chart 5 times(meaning 5 hours total) between 7 am - 23 pm kst today. it's never happened as far as i remember with d9, my pace, i am you(cmiiw). their past releases only able to chart first day of release and rarely after music shows. also looking at times when they are on rising chart and the chart condition at given time, i'd say the one who stream the song is general public(a small one that is). you can see the picture below the chart wasnt filled with any fandom streaming bg song. this is taken at 5 pm to 6 pm kst, peak streaming hours and not fandom hours. btw they are still on melon rising chart now.

    5 pm kst

it's just my prediction but i think miroh will be the most liked skz title track because they gaining melon likes faster than my pace and i am you.

small steps i know and they probably wont chart on top 100 given the chart condition right now and weeks after this but i feel like they will stay on melon top 1000 longer than previous songs. they still havent made their comeback stage yet so anything could happen.

edit: 6 times now! they are still holding on at # 90 on melon rising chart 00.00 am kst

    Waaw..thank you!

  5. Like I said on the other thread the fact that they can’t even chart on other “smaller†charts like mnet, soribada or genie means that they really have a very small korean fandom also we’re still exactly in the same situation last year when they had their debut charting wise meaning that while it’s undeniable that they gained a lot internationally but when it comes to their korean fandom nothing has really changed.

And not just their fandom tho even a slight recognition from the public seems impossible, they won almost all of the rookie awards last year and that fact alone should give them the slightest interest from the public I don’t know if its JYP who is too honest to pull some mediaplay or whatever but it truly feels like they’re non existent in Korea which is really not the reaction you would expect to a group who won almost all of the rookie awards last ear.

These boys are too talented to be slept on to be honest. They deserve so much more

    You right
