what do you guys think of seventeen's wonwoo? a lot of carats perceive him as straight but somehow I feel he's either really uninterested in relationships or he's gay. a teacher from highschool mentioned that he was a boy who was interested in relationship gossip but not interested in girls, and he had declined confessions. that could be telling of either but maybe he's just really young back then. but yep he's suspicious with the way he shows his attraction for other a few members but a several days ago he donated a pair of "call me by your name" themed phone cases to the nabiya cat shelter auction and the design is a peach and the names ellie and oliver (the lovers in the book/movie). apparently that is his favorite item too from the ones he donated. from what I know of wonwoo he likes to read, and he's been very careful of what he puts out bec of what happened during his snsd scandal. idk if i'm reading into it too much though. it's just so baffling why he'd send a pair of items related to a popular (and debatably problematic) lgbt fic pair, but totally unrelated to the cause he's helping.

Why is this thread so dead ;; Anyway I have a question bec I was reading the gay thread lol and i just randomly came across one comment about wonwoo being "visibly angry" when fans chant meanie during fansigns? Is this true? If it is, like how did he express his anger? I mean i was kinda taken aback because anger is a bit of a strong word if wonwoo only expressed discomfort.

Thanks for sharing this! I can still fondly remember my own experiences being whiplashed by Wonwoo's presence during the Manila fanmeet. Same blur happened to me lol and he was never my bias before the fanmeet happened. Now i've become a total wonwoo trash he just looks really... Enigmatic in person. Maybe it was because of his hiatus or maybe because he looks really fragile, but idk he just really knocked me out. Definitely not what I was expecting.

"Impossibly beautiful" this description is pretty apt. I still remember his face from the fanmeet ;; thinking about it he's maybe the most beautifully enigmatic thing I've seen in my 31 years of existence and i'm not even exaggerating here Some negativity, proceed with caution.

There would be 10 new wonwoo fansites for every day that passes by so we don't have to be worried about lack of photos or any impact these fansites have on their sales. What i'm rather worried about is I think pledis put a lot of thought before deciding enough is enough. I am actually glad that the boys' safety and privacy is more important to them more than what they can earn from the fansites. I'll miss proofer tho. :/

This is sad tbh :( but fansites in general have been causing trouble lately and pledis has been really patient. airport pics were the last straw. :( i'm not necessarily a fan of wonwoo's fansites but proofer lately has been very vocal about wonwoo not smiling as much and i feel she's genuinely concerned, but what do we know right, they might just be sasaengs like that joshua fansite and those who were caught spreading rumors so idek anymore. i just hope this doesn't turn out into a mess, especially a mess that would affect wonwoo again given that 4 or his biggest and established fandsites were axed. He's already gone through alot.

I'm crying ;; a grandmother of mine was one of the so called "comforf women" during WWII. I'm really proud of Wonwoo if he indeed bought this and wore it for what the bracelet actually stands for. He has a beautiful heart. ;;

I think pledis needs to really wait for a good date/week for svt's cb then. I seriously don't want svt vs 2ce part 3 ) for me i wish they can cb early january. Let them rest a bit or do a variety/another reality show (or get members acting gigs or sth)

This makes me so proud ;; i remember watching a music show perf during adore u era and there are barely any cheers, but a bit over a year after that they're on top of the physical albums chart with seniors, and their digital sales are constantly improving. Here's to slayage in the next comeback (i hope pledis gets them better cb timing)

Hopefully y'all get the opportunity to meet them in the future, too i doubt i can be that close next time they come here bec they're proly bigger than what they are now. ;;

I'm usually just lurking in the main thread tbh. ) First day he also kinda stared too, we just pretty much stared at each other while touching hands because I was so shook out of my wits I wasn't able to say anything. But he was idk he seems like genuinely trying to look at people's eyes and acknowledging everyone but comes off staring blankly bec it's his natural (resting bitch) face ). Second day was better because I made sure to say something nice to all of them and luckily Wonwoo smiled. His smile seems rare and short-lived recently.

Hi this is my first time posting here (i think lol) but i wanna share my fanmeet experience seeing wonwoo in person (if you haven't read my post in the main svt thread. :D Well, all biases aside (i'm mainly jun biased but meanie is ruining me lately), Wonwoo's appearance is otherworldly. Seungcheol is walking hot stuff and photos don't do him justice, but Wonwoo is just omg he's a league of his own (this is how my friend described it and she is jeonghan-biased.) He has this quiet, enigmatic, elegant presence and his eyes are sharp but also kind. I was also on the second day of the Manila fanmeet and he smiled when i told him to be healthy and happy always. His smile is so gentle and just so so beautiful. I now understand why he is the ult bias-wrecker in Seventeen!

Yes, I'm lucky to have met them, it feels surreal but somehow also strangely familiar? There are luckier fans as some were able to keep their wits and got to say more to svt, hence got more reactions in that fleeting moment. ) Ugh Wonwoo. He has a different aura from all of them. I hope I can explain it better with words without sounding delusional lol but many friends (who are not wonwoo-biased) were stunned by Wonwoo during high touch, they barely remember the next members after him. He's a unicorn. Yes Mingyu and Hoshi knows how to please fans. Hoshi is super fluffy and he kept on talking during high touch although in Korean (I can only understand "thank you" from everything I've heard.) Also lemme talk about Jeonghan. You know how he's always associated with feminine stuff? He's strangely manlier than how he's usually manifested in photos and videos, idk how that's even possible.

The fanmeet was so, so surreal! And Wonwoo is just ugh so beautiful. I can't put it into words. He's enigmatic, gentle, elegant beautiful. And Mingyu is best in fanservice tbh. He is interacting with everyone during hightouch. My friend went in before me and she went "iloveyouilovryouiloveyou" while holding everyone and Mingyu laughed at her being so ditzy and then when it was my turn he was still laughing and i said hi to him and he said hi back and he was kinda slouched on the table so he was just a hamburger away from my face lol i should have said more but :s And have I said Wonwoo is beautiful? He is. The performances don't feel the same without Chinaline though.

Shouldn't be a prob if this was dealt with efficiently. I mean, Jackson was here with no probs. The organizer proved again its incompetence. And I also blame Pledis a bit, they always forget they have chinese members
