Hi! Wanted to spread the love to this thread. Yuju is really special (you know that by now.) Besides being the powerhouse vocal, known throughout kpop, a case can be made that her knee bruises are what propelled Gfriend from a promising nugu group to worldwide stardom overnight. (That was an amazing moment, which I'll never forget, when the video of her falling 5 times went viral around the world overnight. Suddenly, Gfriend was mentioned on all major news outlets! I was awestruck.) I think she's a bit like me too, spacey, seeing things just a little differently. The latest thing is seeing how swag she is about her shoes onstage; just kick the damn thing off, I don't need it...! Damn, girl, even SinB acts more like a girl, laughing and putting her shoe back on right away.

Say, I had an idea for something really cool: would it be possible to get some of Gfriend's staff to do interviews? I'd like to know what goes on every day, and not just with hairdressers and such, but maybe get our favorite Manager-Nim, Hyung Geun (is that his name? I'm not sure; but at least he doesn't run from cameras any more!) Gee, while I'm wishing here, why not get major players in Gfriend's game, like Hong Won-ki, one of Korea's great MV Directors, and the one who did Glass Bead, MGT, Rough, and Wave? But our fabulous choreographer, Park Jun-hee, would be an excellent catch, she's definitely part of Gfriend's success story, and yet we've only got one brief glimpse of her (the Navillera BTS.) Anyway, I'm wishing for real interviews here, and I realize it might be problematic in kpop, they like to keep most things tightly under wraps, maybe people would get in trouble for spilling the beans, I don't know; I'm just putting it out there.

My dream has come true...! This is what I wished for them, back when I first stanned them w MGT. Life is good. :D

That's the funniest thing I've seen in awhile... I just spent a happy hour rewatching it and posting below it. (Yeah, I know, I should Get A Life; but I've had a life, and this is more fun.) That first pic: Sowon, you're so ...tall!... Actually all of Gfriend are tall, we just get so used to seeing them together; but in Sunny Girls, we'd expect Eunha to be short, but no! ...The moment when you realize Eunha IS actually in the Tall Line!

Yeah, I saw that, struck me as odd on the "official" page, it looked like a fan's blatherings got on there somehow...

As befits a professional - she was a pro dancer, singer and model by far the longest of any of them. This is but another step in her career. So I think she's entitled to some bitchy faces once in awhile. (Like Krystal.) :D

Haha, I'm retired, I have all the time in the world. Also a bit of an intellectual; I like to think I can understand new concepts. ;) So yes, pray continue; I'm all ears, as they say.

yeah, especially sowon's one I hope in 2017 SouMu give her baptism of fire like Eunha (with her 5 ost/collabs) in 2016; maybe showering her with modeling or CF individual projects. She need confidence boost and sinb's wish is like the contrary of umji's Yeah, it was quite the year for Eunha! With her perfect bob, perfect aegyo, and all those collabs... I (sadly) don't think such a thing is possible for Sowon, though. Her self-esteem? I don't know... But I definitely think she should do more modeling! With the right hair and makeup, she looks like a goddess! (Maybe since she's learned to be 'alone' (surrounded by staff) in Europe, it boosted her confidence; I hope so.) Oh, and "SinB's wish is like the contrary of Umji's...? I'm sorry, I missed something. What was SinB's wish? Anyway, glad you're here, and take care.

My my, you're bringing a blast of fresh air in here. I've tended to avoid AKB (I prefer Perfume, Kyary Pamyu and Babymetal in Jpop) ...may I ask what in the world are these concepts: river, elimination, center-searching, survival...? It sounds like a whole new field to explore. Oh, I should mention, I'm a gamer too. Spent a year each in Vice City and San Andreas, now i mostly just play Civilization 3 (didn't like 4 much.) Welcome!

Yes, Eunha is really the queen of aegyo. But I'd be REALLY cautious about changing her perfect bob! I think that's part of why this past year has been Eunha's. SO SQUISHIE I WANNA PUT HER IN MA POCKET (Sowon's) hairstyle could stay the same since she slays it, but a hair colour change to something other than medium-dark brown would be nicely different than what she has had for the past 2 years and a new element of slayage she can achieve, tbh Think of it as another piece of fashion model leadernim can own and show off to the world how she can rock diverse looks As much as I love her doll-bob, I kinda want a longer look for Eunha next cb too just to change it up. And yeah, I guess Sowon could use a hair color change, after 2 years... Especially since I think her future HAS to include modeling. I mean, she's really beautiful, she needs to do more modeling, I think.

...I thought I had kept up with all their major endorsements; but I don't have any record of a "T" company, that they modeled for, last April, was it? I wonder who it was? That was their hottest time, they had just swept their first series of awards, and naturally were burning hot and eager to be photographed and get their names and pictures out there... Well, remember that miss A (my first real kpop bias group!) had only four members (when they did this song.) Trying to make the song and choreography fit five or six just wouldn't work, I don't think... I'm sorry if your faves got left out, I sorta think they chose the right four (don't hate me!)

The SAF Boom Up Show, what chance is there of getting Eng subs for the middle part - where the announcer was hitting them with unexpected questions...? It was fascinating to watch, and i'd LOVE to see what was being said!

Out of all the girl groups, I was immediately struck by how familiar they looked; somehow sort of American, you know? (Except for Umji, she was the first I could tell apart in all the pix.) So I downloaded hundreds of pix (especially the ones with their names.) I put off choosing a bias for a long time, til it was clear it had to be Yerin! She brings life and joy to any occasion, her "willingness to ruin her image" for laughs was legendary.

Agree! Glad to see her dealing just with SinB, and the joy and freedom of traveling the world! I liked seeing her dancing with the Slovaks, doing so well, and winning the hat dance! :D

I agree 100%; I just want her to feel fine, like she used to. Remember when she was the red ginseng of Gfriend?? Whether it was the haters, or if management told her to tone it down, I want the old Yennie back!! :( She was life, she was energy, she had balls, she kissed all the members, it was great... [i can wish that she writes a tell-all book someday, and explains what exactly happened.] Meanwhile, Yerin fighting!!!

Thanks for your kind help before; i just have a quick question now: I tried to use the Search function to find a thread i commented on a few days ago, but no matter what i put in, it didn't work... The thread was something like "Why do international fans stan SinB, but Koreans prefer Eunha?" But i don't know where to look, to find it & see if anyone replied to me.
