wow 5th place for 24 hours is 8m already?? just months ago everyone was shocked by TT getting 5m and Blood,S&T 6m. Twice, BTS, BP, Big Bang and EXO help spreading kpop.

I have a theory about why the trainees were looking at Jihoon when Guanlin was moving to the main stage.

 

A scenario like this probably happened with everyone gathered together.

So when BoA announced Guanlin as 7th place the trainees are like "ooo Jihoon's going to have to kiss Guanlin"

 

When Jihoon was making his way to the 2nd place seat, he was about to leave after hugging woojin, but woojin stopped him and asked him to go to Guanlin. He was not going anywhere until he fulfills his promise. And then Guanlin asked for the kiss. Jihoon didn't seem taken aback, (because if it was random anyone would be like "what? O.O") he simply had a shy expression on so he was probably expecting it. He was reluctant at first but after some wigglytuff aegyo from Guanlin, he gave in and delivered the peck. Now, panwink headlines everywhere.

I used to post occasionally back when it was episode 2, 3 or 4, revisiting once every 3 days. but then the thread grew so quickly its hard to backtrack and I usually don't comment unless I have read until the last post of a thread. maybe I'm just an avid lurker haha, I have read allll the posts from page 30 up til now page 460~. I'm seriously so proud of this thread and jihoon. I love Panwink and Winkdeep.

You dont see a lot of people posting Jihoon content on P101's main thread, not as much as a TOP1 should be getting, but Jihoon has the most replies and views for his individual thread (i think?). exactly 1 month agobwe were barely at page 6 with 5k~ views, im glad to know that the international fanbase is growing T_T, its so hard to notice since international winks arent as loud as international fans of other trainees.

I think what makes me like Jihoon is the fact that he's good looking but not in the traditional way. Like he's masculine too kinda like BTS Jimin. I'm so glad he's talented though cause I don't think I could get into him if he wasn't haha. The backlash against avengers imo is all jealously. What ticks me is that they weren't even bad. No one messed up, sang wrong lyrics, voice cracked etc yet why the hate? Like I know JL was better, BIL Team 2 sang better but in no way was avengers bad. I just don't get it.

salty people want to bring them down. you can smell the salt at the comment section for the perf's vid in mnet's channel. people would want to bring the popular kids down by siding with their rival, idk that's just what I think.

Jihoon picked Bae, I think Guanlin picked Jihoon as well as Bae. I pray for Haknyeon in the top visuals, Guanlin and Seonho too, my B1F4 will be complete!!

 

 

people need to chill with that. mnet obviously likes jihoon. like, obviously. him not getting the most screen time is actually beneficial in a way. people were already talking about how people were going to get tired of daehwi since he get so much screentime and now look at what's going on with him. jihoon has slipped under the evil edit radar and every second he's on screen only makes him more popular. if mnet really didn't want him, there are way more effective things they could do to get rid of him. it just kind of irks me when fans of the most popular people on the show start this whole "mnet hates my fav" business. some of my favs get no screentime and have no chance to make the group at all. 

 

 

anyway, they're def going to give ending pose shots to some boys, mostly boys who were the center probably.

 

but it's not new that fans victimize their biases when unfavorable events happen, it's not only in Produce101. I usually dismiss it when people bring that up, voicing that I disagree would just stir up an uneccessary arguement, that would be bad if we belonged to the same fandom.

Tho that gif where Samuel and Jihoon stood together at the waiting room and then slowly looked away from the camera made my heart skipped a beat!!

 

Jihoon got the highest live votes, they didn't mosaic the initial letter of his name, I think it was intentional :P haha now I can put my heart to rest, I won't return to this thread until next week. Later Winks!

thoughts on the preview? maybe Jihoon took charge of the group? O.O the preview is unsettling

1k posts? damn that felt like just yesterday, I joined around 9k views and ~500 posts.

 

Jihoon must be so overwhelmed, he probably wrote that he'd get 3rd place lightheartedly (likely most other contestants wrote a high rank) but when it actually came to him taking the 1st place, he's so shy. He looks in awe and modest all the time when he sees how popular he is. I feel Jihoon is a little pressured being 1st place, he wrote 3rd because he expected someone to be better than him, but at the same time popular enough to share the same limelight with 1st-2nd place like Yoojung/Sejeong/Somi. That's just how I interpret his humbleness from the little screentime he had.

Tbh, I'm not much of a BTS fan so I watched BIL just to know what Jihoon would be doing lol (good thing it's a catchy song bcs I had to replay it over and over). 

 

From what I've heard from BTS fans, it's apparently a common mistake for people to think V was the center of the song because he had many parts too but JK is the true center and had more noteworthy parts particularly the "can I be your oppa~" . 

 

I found that bit of trivia pretty interesting... I wonder if perhaps that mistake occurred here too while Jihoon who is actually a BTS fan himself knew better. 

 

I do feel like a lot of people particularly international fans underestimate Jihoon. B ended up with a lot of talent in their ranks and he was chosen as center among them. And now in BIL, he was in a team of three A's yet got the center and main vocal position. No fanaccounts from the event mentioned anything about him in particular making mistakes, even some of the ones that mentioned mistakes for others praised Jihoon. Our boy clearly has some talent here. I'm freaking ready to be slayed.

 

haha same :p I need that Jihoon screen time on ep3 to appease my soul. But I'm 80% sure they would cliffhang the Avengers team perf and then postpone it to ep4 only to broadcast it after 1 hour into the episode =_= gahh...

You guys ever wonder how Jihoon got Jungkook's part (center) in BIL? I mean he's teamed up with ambitious kids like Daehwi and Samuel. I get a feeling that Daehwi/Samuel got chosen for Jungkook's part first, but then the coaches recommended Jihoon to be the center after watching them practice.

This was filmed in the same day of the photo shoot so Im pretty sure the shirts don't mean anything (This is just my guess though.. Im not sure if am correct)[/size]

I think Jihoon might be reevaluated to A class he's wearing pink like Samuel and Daehwi. If you looked at Cube Seonho's eye contact video, you can see their grades by the color of their sweater. Guanlin wore yellow, he is now C when he danced with F classes in the Pick Me stage.

 

 

I'm just guessing. I didn't care about the grade at first, but now, I want to see Jihoon on the 27th April M countdown stage. >;)

W/ regards to the groupings&leaders, just a guess but remember how they gathered and there was a center stage where individuals perform? Maybe that's where they decide who gets to be leader. OR. Maybe trainees voted?

I think that was to find the center position for pick me with all the trainee's vote. If you look at the EP3 preview, BoA announced the group battle only after the individual performances. I'd really like to know how 3 A's got in, if I remember right there are around 14-16 groups. Since there are only 16 A's, some groups might not have grade A trainees.

Thanks for taking the time to explain! I really appreciate it. I follow Boys24 daily, but honestly I didn't even know there was a rumor about Hongin being bullied, you must really be a avid fan to know all those stuff O.O
