[The King God General] NU'EST/WANNA ONE Minhyun Thread
lulu3937 replied to sublime's topic in Individual Artists
If you want more translations of the book, Followyouroracle on weibo has translated around 12 passages so far. The book is very insightful albeit, a bit depressing. I think it really shows how thoughtful and mature minhyun is. It upsets me that some people on twitter are claiming that his mature side is fake and his real personality is the dorky minhyun in nuest. I hope people could love all sides of minhyun and not try to distort his actions to fit their agenda.- 3,489 replies

[The King God General] NU'EST/WANNA ONE Minhyun Thread
lulu3937 replied to sublime's topic in Individual Artists
The long leg screencap is from their showcon which is subbed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzlyheH0l0qLaGdvMHYzUUg5elE/view(screencap around 44:45) I only found full videos for the Minhyun crying scene on Chinese websites: http://www.bilibili.com/video/av15159314/?from=search&seid=8921048449529611941#page=2 Here is another video from that series with Minhyun (the fight for visual center) in case you haven't seen it yet: http://www.bilibili.com/video/av15159314/?from=search&seid=8921048449529611941#page=4 The words that scroll across the screen is super annoying but if you click on the square speech bubble thing at the bottom, it should go over.- 3,489 replies

[The King God General] NU'EST/WANNA ONE Minhyun Thread
lulu3937 replied to sublime's topic in Individual Artists
Thank you so much for updating! I usually lurk on here but the thread is so dead. Do you guys ship any minhyun ships? I find all his interactions with the members to be so sweet and cute but he seems to have a soft spot for baejin and woojin.- 3,489 replies

A series of you can't judge a book by its cover. The captions just say: Originally thought he slept/eat/laughed like this, but in reality it's like this.

What Chinese Or Taiwanese Drama Are You Currently Watching?
lulu3937 replied to ♡ Minnie ♡'s topic in Dramas
I started stanning Wallace Huo hard after this drama, he's actually so attractive imo. Also I recommend Too late to say I love you (æ¥ä¸åŠè¯´æˆ‘çˆ±ä½ ) starring Wallace Chung. -
I don't think that's possible right now. But it's good to let him know to be more sensitive about this issue in the future since he does have a lot of international fans.
-
I don't think he's homophobic neither. I went on a tangent, but what I was trying to say was a lot of his answer had to do with appealing to the market. If he had been like, "I'm open to try anything," people may make homophobic comments against him (especially since they already says he looks like a girl). His fandom is kind of fragile right now since he's not very established as an actor/singer. I think he was surprised by the question since there are no gay movies in china so far (I think hangeng's is the first one) and trying to play it off as a joke was probably the best way to answer it. It just didn't come off very well.
-
I haven't been on OH for a couple of days but that comment really escalated. It's definitely a mistranslation because what he said was very vague but translates literally into "what happens if I get too into the role." Which I guess can be interpreted to be homophobic... I think what's important to acknowledge is the general attitude in China about homosexuals. It's very frowned upon and there was a news article awhile ago about how this girl's mother committed suicide because her daughter was a lesbian. I mean if you look at choi siw*n when he made those very direct homophobic comments, most of the backlash he received was from international fans and it didn't really impact him much domestically. However, he did apologize because SJ as a group depends a lot of their international fandom and hold concerts abroad as well. Whereas for LH, his market is very domestic based. Even though he releases stuff on itunes and his movie was screened in some parts of north america, his market is still predominately china and less so, eastern asia (japan and korea). I guess what I'm trying to say is that what he says has to appeal to his target market. If he did support being gay publicly, he would probably lose a lot of fans which could be detrimental to him since he is still a rising actor. Also, he may be strongly influenced by the education system in china as many of my relatives in china are still very racist and homophobic. While the ones who live abroad are more open-minded and liberal so it really depends on the environment you live in. I am by no means saying it's okay to be homophobic, but people should understand the kind of environment you are raised in and the influence of the media does impact your mindset significantly. Sorry for rambling and I hope it made sense.

Can we not bash other artists in this thread please? If you have anything to get of your chest, you can take it to the bashing thread. This thread is for Lufan to appreciate Luhan as you said, so let's keep it focused on him. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Li Chen's weibo: 我是什么鬼ä¹é˜Ÿå‰ä»–手,å¦å¤–两ä½åˆ†åˆ«æ˜¯ä¸»å”±å’Œé¼“手,请关注我们的ä¹é˜Ÿç»„åˆï½žä»€ä¹ˆé¬¼ I am what is this band's guitar player (tn: I think this is RM joke but I haven't seen the episode yet), the other two are the main singer and drummer respectively. Please follow our band ~ what is this. Zhen Kai also responded to what happened on RMC: "I am not mr. good good , I just demonstrated my true personality during the show. Next time we record the show, not only will I throw my clothes down, I will also eat clothes." In regards to the video, he described what happened to be "I was running the whole night, the two of them were ripping my nametag. I threw my clothes down but that doesn't mean I was mad at Deng Chao and Luhan, I was mad at myself." He also told everyone to not believe the stories on the internet "I have a good relationship with Deng Chao and Luhan, RM is a big family and there's no conflicts." source

Guys so what exactly is the image he is trying to go for. He looks like he's trying to appeal to little kids in his Kung Fu Panda pictures and <<Lu>> is meant to appeal to god knows who. Like I understand it's good to be diverse, but not opposite ends of the spectrum diverse...

How many of you guys are underage, his lyrics are really worrying me. I do not want little 13-14 years old girls singing/listening to songs like that with such suggestive sexual innuendos. There should be a 19+ label on this song but I'm not sure if they do that in China.
-
"Now blow it like a flute"? What does that mean? I could only interpret it one way and it's dirty.
-
I agree with what you are all saying. What I don't understand is why he didn't change the song after Adventure Time and That good good didn't receive very positive feedback. I know that composing, recording then producing the song takes awhile but no release date was set when reloaded was first released and he could have pushed back reloaded II until he makes a new song. He had the opportunity to experiment with so many of his songs already and I want him to release another public friendly song like Metals.
-
Not just rap, it's going to be lu styled rap. Jokes aside, do we have any info on who is producing reloaded II? I hope it's not djemba djemba. I'm okay with deep being weird sounding since it's supposed to be a movie OST and techno, upbeat style may fit the movie but if his only english song is going to have rap.... I'm kind of disappointed since I love his voice and it's nice to listen to but reloaded has not lived up to what I expected.
-
It says <<Lu>> is going to continue on with the trap elements used before and use a more american style to bring the brand new "lu" stye rap. Another one <<Deep>> (although the Chinese title translates into bottom of the sea) is going to import a hip techno style's Jersey club into the C-Pop industry. Please no Luhan!

The whole thing got huge on weibo and it trended for hours. The first two videos basically said "Not satisfied with being ripped by Luhan, spazzed on the spot? Zhen Kai: Be a nai si (tn: sounds like nice, means someone who could tolerate with ripped (without throwing a fit) - basically the weibo that ZK posted) person The last one is a weibo post that says: " recently during the RM melbourne recording, on the day that was Li Chen's birthday, a team that looked to get along had none stop (name tag) ripping. During the nametag ripping segment, the production team assigned LH to go up again ZK and unexpectedly, ZK got ripped and became furious. Taking into account the veteran membrane's face/pride, the segment was re-recorded and the director assigned ZK to rip LH."
-
I know! It's ridiculous and they're going to get so much backlash if they broadcast the re-filmed version. But I don't think they have enough footage to edit the show another way to make someone else win.

Confusing in the sense of why it happened. This is his third season and he's never exhibited this kind of behaviour before. I was reading some theories on weibo about why it may have happened: 1. It's all a RM publicity stunt to raise ratings since everyone will go watch and find out what happened . 2. Zhen Kai was the youngest and most attractive member (apparently) so he finds LH's presence the most threatening. ZK was very unknown before RM and he only became popular after so he probs don't want LH there. Especially since the whole "friday couple" otp b/w him and angelababy is done this season.

Here's the HD version of what happened http://video.weibo.com/show?fid=1034:214c1c41780cfee614069621fc948cf1 Apparently after Zhen Kai spazzed, RM refilmed the scene and made Zhen Kai rip Luhan's name tag. This whole situation is actually so confusing because it's the third season and Zhen Kai is a veteran and nothing like this happened before (or at least none that we know of).
