And here I was thinking I was late to talk about the new comeback
Uh well, good news, it's a banger
We love this for them. DR can't keep the momentum of a consistent lineup to save their lives but maybe, MAYBE they can ride the hype for this song for a minute to push the group into some sort of relevancy.

Happy Birthday, King of China!

This is so heartbreaking with how sudden it is. He was way too young.
Condolences to his family, friends, group members, and fans. May everyone find comfort during this time.

I have just gotten home from work and had time to read through the articles that have been posted on the subject matter (I recommend reading through Koreaboo's, which I will link here: https://www.koreaboo.com/news/kris-wu-fined-tax-evasion/ and https://www.koreaboo.com/news/kris-wu-prison-deportation-rape/), so I feel that as the OP of Kris' thread for several years, its only right that I make an official statement on the matter.
As of now, I want to make it abundantly clear that we will accept and respect the decision that was reached in court. This was the result of what appears to be a complete and thorough investigation that he been ongoing for over a year. And for that reason, we fully acknowledge the decision that was reached on today. As of November 25, 2022, Kris Wu is a convicted rapist who was also found guilty of evading taxes in 2019-2020. He is sentenced to 13 years in jail and fined for evading taxes and will be deported (likely to Canada, of which he is a citizen) at the end of his sentence.
Firstly, I am not surprised that this verdict was reached, as it was expected and we discussed this already in this thread. It must be stated that this was not a public case and we will truly never know what all was revealed in court. That said, while we previously maintained a state of neutrality until the verdict came out, because we now have a guilty verdict and a conviction, I will not disrespect the victims by refraining from accepting the results of the trial. I am well aware that there is an ongoing belief that he is innocent, that DMZ's accusations were sus, that her friends have confessed that it was a lie, etc. But as of now, none of that is what stands in court. You can believe what you want to believe, but I said that we would follow this case until the verdict and we will be going by what was decided. And that is what we are doing.
I am nonetheless disappointed in Kris and his actions and can obviously no longer support him based on the information that has been revealed and presented against him in court. That he would abuse his power over young women and forever destroy their lives in this manner is reprehensible, inexcusable, and unacceptable. This is not about me or any of us in this topic, this is about Kris Wu and the lives he has forever ruined with his actions. That said, it is natural to feel personal hurt if you were a previous fan of his and supported him and his work. I am personally quite disappointed in the many Kris fan accounts that disappeared into thin air following his initial arrest. If you claim to be a fan of an idol but ditch the situation once there are charges held against him, you are doing nothing to hold him accountable for what he has done.
Kris Wu must absolutely be held accountable for his actions, and for that reason, I will continue to use this thread (until told otherwise by mods) to post any additional information that may come out regarding potential victims of Kris Wu, as well as any other crimes he has committed. If by some chance that Kris still has supporters (which is inevitable) and the rape charges and tax evasion is not enough of a nail in the coffin for them, then I want it fully available for all to see exactly what this man has done and who you are choosing to continue to support. This also goes for people who will inevitably discover Kris through Youtube, etc. They have every right to know exactly what he has done and we will continue to post every notable update regarding this or other cases regarding him.
I have no interest in shying away from the fact that I was a supporter of his and doing anything performative like ditching this thread to wash my hands clean of the situation. I will no longer be supporting Kris, but it is only right for the sake of the victims to keep this thread updated with any other criminal information that may come out against him.
For years I have been the only person to post here. This post is mainly to serve as acknowledgement to what he has done on my part as this thread's OP, whether or not anyone else ever actually posts here. We aren't hiding anything. We aren't brushing anything under the rug.

Just saw the news trending on Twitter. He has officially been found guilty both of rape and tax evasion and will allegedly be deported after serving his 13-year sentence. I am literally on my way out the door for work so I can't expound further on the fate of the fate of this thread, but I felt I should at least post that he was found guilty in court as soon as I saw it

I think it's because Korea is a bit isolated from crises that other countries would face. They don't normally have to deal with things like earthquakes, collapsed structures/roads, hurricanes, wildfires, etc. So when something like this happens it's usually the first time or around the first time, it happens. So, I'm not sure if they have drills or an emergency crisis manual in place for stuff like this.
I'm certain they know how to pick up a phone that's calling the police. That doesn't really require a drill, just the bare minimum of going out to see what's going on. But ignoring the calls entirely for several hours?

Good song and choreo and everything, this has some potential. The two newest members seem pretty good in Korean (not sure how long they've lived in Korea or studied it) but it's good to know they're not holding back the song still being in Korean despite all the Korean members being gone.
