Why aren't there many non-kpop threads?
Ddeona Oneul Bame replied to YeoChin Fairies's topic in Random
Most people here are K-POP fans~ Typically I don't go into non K, C, or J-Entertainment threads because I mainly joined for those~ There also are less users on than there were before and a lot of those people who spammed the Random section are just inactive or gone now~ -
Happy late birthday

Yeah to save you the cringe of actually watching the video, the main thing was her saying Korea has no sound of it’s own because it steals from black culture and every other culture and that kind of nonsense and none of it's their own. Like calling NCT Boss's MV cultural appropriation becauseeeee...I guess Koreans can't wear clothes like that??? God forbid Koreans don't wear Hanbok everywhere they go. She posted a couple hours ago that she did get a response from EKKO just giving a general response to her. Whether she’s getting any more money wasn’t discussed on their end.

What are you on? You can't end someone's life with no punishment, bruh. People get arrested and people have a trial regardless of race. You know the guy who killed Officer David Dorn? He was black and should have been in jail for a crime in the past but he was never jailed for it. As a result of him not being jailed, he killed another black man. This is not a one way street. Y'all need to chill out with this, black people have rights. Cops abusing their power doesn't mean we don't have rights. And black cops kill people, too. Don't start this foolishness and just being unrealistic.

Ehhhhh I don't know that he had horrible intentions but it was probably too premature to use the actual voice clip in the song. Could have gone about it better. But looking at some of those tweets, OT, but y'all really shouldn't be stanning people just because they kneel or something People acting all betrayed now but you literally just started stanning a week ago based on next to nothing, now they look ridiculous. Stop stanning random groups you just heard of for this

The Psy fan is in his 40s or 50s, sis
-
Yep, looking into the situation, the sis got paid. The song had 9 or 10 writers, so the cost was split and she got paid based on that~ She herself said she made 9K~ She's mad because she on the OH mentality that YT views equal hits and must believe Boss and Go are way more popular than they were so she should get more money~ But that would be on EKKO, so IDK why she's whining at all these other people~ She basically signed a bad deal, is now mad about it, and trying to profit off of black K-POP fans who are actually taking her racist ass seriously that she's being discriminated against when she isn't~ Clownery all around

What are your thoughts on reaction videos?
Ddeona Oneul Bame replied to Thatoneuser's topic in Random
I like reactors who actually react. For K-POP, I like Jasmine and Courtney and Shane because they provide commentary, they stan or like the groups in question, you can relate to their reactions because they're a fan, I get them. I don't like "X group fan reacts to X rival group" and doesn't even know the members' fxxkin names For gamers, I like people who play the game they're reacting to and can give some opinion on what they're seeing. Like a single Smashtuber reacting to a Smash trailer is fine. But you have these people who play Pokemon or who play Zelda reacting to the whole E3 and don't know about half of the stuff they're giving irrelevant or no commentary to...just watch for the game you play then instead of saying "WhO/wHaT iS tHiS" every two seconds for a game you haven't played. I used to watch the Fine Bros but I stopped watching them because the commentary from the teens just got annoying. One of them was reacting to AOT and had a girl claim with her whole chest that English dubbers of Anime translate the dialogue with Google Translate ????????? Sis, the Japanese subtitles YOU read are Google Translate 60% of the time by non-Japanese speakers. The dub it to be edgy. They get mad when English anime isn't word for word verbatim to the subs when the subs are not even accurate themselves. I don't expect everyone to understand the dubbing process and what goes into translating and localizing a show to make sense in another language, but I really wish they had cut that out. It made the girl sound super ignorant~ The dubbers are getting more Japanese insight than these damn weebs whining about English dubs -
Do you see yourself listening to K-pop forever?
Ddeona Oneul Bame replied to rowanokke's topic in The Lobby
I will listen to K-POP as long as I like the music Same for any genre -
Homegirl lost me the minute she put "Black Lives Matter" when her issue is about not getting a paycheck. Y'all don't even talk about all the black people who are actually DYING in the streets, now you wanna try to use "mY lIfE mAtTeRs" because of money? Girl, get you a damn lawyer and log off. All this attention-seeking BS to ride a completely unrelated movement ain't it at all~ SM is trash, you learned your lesson not to work for them again. Sue them, move on, and grow up~ Hold up, hold up, I just watched her little 4 minute "rant" of the situation and I think I need to upgrade her to certified clown status. Sis, you can want to be paid all you want, but your ass is not about to knowingly write a K-POP demo and then call the final version a "cultural appropriation version". Sis is giving off the impression that she doesn't know how this whole thing works so I guess that's why she thought spamming on Instagram was the way to handle things over actually getting a lawyer. My sympathy for her is draining fast~

What was the last (physical) Kpop album you bought?
Ddeona Oneul Bame replied to dream thief's topic in Random
Baek's but it hasn't come in yet Albums that I have received, Suho's~ -
It's not even just donating, people are bullying celebrities just to make a statement. Internet warriors these days are just absurdly entitled and despite the fact that these celebrities support things silently, internet vigilantes, who are probably not even donating to whatever it is they're shaming celebrities for not publicly donating to, believe that they're doing the right thing in harassing people to be public about everything. In an ideal world, the focus would be on whatever the issues at hand are, but social media has made everything into some sort of competition in one way or another. As long as people can brag about their celeb of choice, they couldn't care less about anything else~
-
Don't get your hopes up for that~ K-POP stans are in it for the high moral ground and nothing more. They genuinely think they are justified in being hateful and angry people because Idols live halfway across the world and they believe they can force them to act any kinda way. They won't reflect on this, in fact they're gonna use BTS to sht on other groups, I can guarantee you that much~
