Well, can't really blame them. It's not that it isn't pretty but just that it's not one would normally expect from the Gold and Diamonds boy. I'm ok with how it looks though. But if it affects GD's sales, I'll burn YG's building except GD's studio. Yes, he is. But mostly because I wanted to reply to him a lot of times but he doesn't sound very logical and consistent. I'm always tempted to ask instead how old he/ she is. But well, I'm illogical many times too. But at least I'm not hating... If that's YG's plan, and the experiment proved bad for GD........

If it gets delayed again... Right now I don't care if it's YG's doing or YB's decision. The furthest I can take is 1st week Oct. Release the damn album already!!!!! Hope not. I honestly don't think so. I just feel like he enjoys acting more at the moment. I hope he regains the passion for music soon, though. I kinda feel pressured for TOP though. The dongsaengs have all released/ about to release their albums and they all did great. The fans are all waiting for his. He probably just enjoys acting right now. I hope he doesn't feel obliged to release an album just because. He's doing great in his acting career right now so I wish the fans would just let him be for now. Edit: ^ omg I just mentioned OT5 doing Crooked! It will be epic!!!! But I can't see this happening. They'll probably just appear on the show, probably even just a video msg for GD or something....

Random but...I can already imagine the epicness if OT5 performs Crooked. Their voices and energy will SO go well with the song. It will be so good live, even better than FB, I imagine. Congrats GD~ !!!!! I really wanted him to win even before I knew he retweeted it. Like him, I also prefer that he be recognized more for his music than his fashion... (though I know this is just another popularity contest. )....But at least this is related to music. This might be the reason also why he keeps retweeting this... Go GD!!! And damn another strong contender "Fifth Harmony."

@Slacker Sorry I don't know much about these shows and awards...why is it impossible for GD to get disk daesang without a repack? Also, the 300k+ preorder number is only in Korea right? So his Chinese + other Asian fanbase isn't included yet? Will we be able to get numbers for these too? Also, as someone asked, how much of the preorder numbers usually translate to actual sales?

I just read that NB article about GD and Ri competing together. Some "Buzzers" feel that GD should have postponed his album more as he was overshadowing Ri, if he were to be a good leader, friend, brother, etc. Glad others were able to point out that Ri's standing on the charts were already starting to fall off when GD released his album. Also, I don't know about other guys here but I don't think Ri would have liked it if he were to be baby-sit like that. I'm no guy but as someone who has worked a lot with guys (and competed with them) in my profession, I believe, it would be a bigger insult on Ri if GD would postpone his album because of him. It would mean he doesn't trust that Ri is capable enough or that Ri is a worthy competitor. I know fangirls feel for Ri but I don't think it works same way for guys... And when does one improve the most? From competing with someone lesser or someone greater than you? I say both Ri and GD stands to gain from this. Sorry, I know I should have replied in NB but the post was already days old. I don't think anyone visits it anymore. Just wanted to vent.

CDT MV was definitely more artisitc. BUT WHY DO I LOVE CROOKED MV SO MUCH!!!!!!! iT'S SO FUN!!! I didn't expect I'd like it omg... (But the live wasn't all that creative....) But he was crying at the end.... I'm guessing this is another breakup song. A guy wanting to drown himself trying to forget the pain ................... cheesy oppar... Edit: ^ oh the translation. Like I imagined....

I'm loving Who You now. Also, I prefer Black with Jenny than with Sky (don't judge me too much). I just really find the English lyrics a little cheesy. I think it's also the reason why Lydia in Black is so appealing--coz the lyrics were well put that it made people easily connect with/ appreciate Lydia's singing. GD's rapping part in ROD is still the best for me in that song. GD's Niliria performance will remain in my top5 best BB-related performances of all time forever. CDT is currently on loop. I'm not even thinking of YT views. I just really love watching the MV so many times.

Actually ROD right now is my most played song (but my fave is still CDT) I liked it a lot that I wished it would receive more love in Korea than Black. That's why I mused that had the ending been less "dubstepped" , it might have been a PAK coz Korea seemed not so used to dubstep... I don't think it being not the title track matters that much too since That xx was the one that got PAK not Crayon... I really wish GD will get a PAK each for Parts 1 and 2.....and have another HB-like smash hit . Just curious, did the other songs from HB album also chart well? Or was it only HB being super hit?

How are GD's 5 tracks faring compared to his OOAK's 6 tracks? I feel like it would have the potential to even get a PAK had the dubstep at the end been minimized. It gives me Missing You feels more than Black does.

Hi @Fujoshi I'm a relatively new member/lurker here. I'm GD-biased too. I feel like Part1 will still perform better than Part2... I don't get the NIlira credits. Even the GD version lists Missy Elliot as one of the songwriters. Will GD rap in English?

But didn't GD get 5 MVs for his first album? A Boy, HB, Butterfly, She's Gone, Breathe. I hope think we'll get more than 3 for CDT...

Someone posted it about 5(?) pages back. I'll try to find it. Haru2x is still stellar of course (maybe I'm just sentimental). But Who You is up there with Without You and That xx, for me.

My review: CDE--MV + Song = GOLD. One without the other isn't as great. But I LOVE even the song alone. ROD--At first listen: it sounded too heavy but the song itself and GD's rap in this is my fave of ALL the 5 songs. Digging the dubstep(?) more the more I listen. English lyrics is A LOT better here than in Black. Niliria---As I feared, the song itself pales in comparison to the LIVE. GD really does wonders on stage. But still find this song awesome. It's the song I find myself replaying the most (dunno if because of the LIVE perf) Black--so smooth. The most public-friendly, I think. Maybe that's why it's the title track. Not a fan of the English lyrics. Who You--I'm SO proud of GD's singing, for a change lol. But what did it for me are the lyrics. I like them A LOT. I'm a sucker for sad songs with upbeat sound. (e.g. Lies, HaruHaru) The thing is, it's not memorable enough for a title track. For now, my order is as how I put it above. As comparison: CDE part1 > OOAK > HB, album-wise. CDE > OOAK > HB, MV-wise Fave songs (pls don't judge me that it's a lot lol. There's a reason I'm GD-bias ) (Not including his songs not in his solo albums) A Boy, HB, The Leaders, She's Gone, Without You, That xx, Light it Up, Missing You, Today Michigo All CDT tracks (so far, could change) So proud, Kwon Jiyong!!!!

I'm also surprised some didn't dig CDeT. I love it. I love ROD (what does the acronym mean?) Black is nice. Who You lyrics are a GEM!!!! Niliria is really beautifully done. How many songs did GD release? 5? All occupying top spots, I see. Once again, no filler tracks. All songs can be a favorite.

LOL I think I'm weird. You all seem to prefer Black over Coupdetat (well it's the title track and CDT is just the intro) but I really find CDT more intriguing. The tone+aura GD used in this is something I can't compare to any other KPOP song I have heard ever. I think I'll listen to it more than Black... Thank you for the links!!!

I LOVE the MV. Seriously. I can shove this MV up anyone who dare contest he's at the top of his game. Very artistic. The beat and style of the song is really unique. I'm a proud stan, Kwon Jiyong. The KING indeed.

Looks like GD's album is going to be a visual treat. I like what I'm hearing from the songs so far too. You guys here are awesome. Don't even have to visit so many sites. I still feel so updated .
