yg simply can't handle big groups. Also being a smaller group doesn't mean being more united, look at miss a or secret, the girls will probably be close bc they have being waiting for their debut for 34354545 years and we see them together most of the time ( at least jennie, jisoo, chaeyoung and lalice)

I don't really thing a big group equals popularity, rv is 5 and they are very popular. They are form one of the big 3 so they are bound to call people attention. The record of previews rookies of yg (winner, akmu, ikon, lee hi) is that they are very talented in various areas : singing, dancing, composing, so the girls need to be at that level or people are going to look down on them and criticizes everything they do. They can be many and they can be pretty, but if they are not at par with the level of previews rookies (in terms of talent) of their same agency is gonna be mess, we are never gonna hear the end of it. They need to be cohesive, if someone lack in smth other one should be able to help to fill that gap. As far, we just know lalice is a amazing dancer, we haven't hear jennie rap or sing in 3 years, we haven't never hear jisoo sing, we haven't hear chaeyoung sing since that fragment on gd song, we don't know how much their talent have grown and evolve.

more gg debuting and non of them are from yg

I rather they not be 9, like that's calling for a mess. yg can't even manage a 4 member group properly, 9 could be a disaster. I still think they will be probably 5 - 7 menbers

at this point I would be happy with just lalice, jennie, chae and jisoo debuting (my fantastic four ) but if yg could put jinny and hanna there it could be great too
