SuJu is the only SM act that hasn't been popular with the public since the 2nd Gen of kpop. All SM group releases did very well digitally this year. I do hope that SM tries a different approach with the boys. There is no reason for them to go for the same target market as EXO. They could honestly try something hip-hoppy and make it fun--if it sounds good. Either that, or do something like what classy/likable, what YG did with WINNER.

Wait....you guys thought Hip Hop wouldn't be the target from the start? With Taeyong being promoted as the face of the group AND as a rapper, the connection was pretty obvious. I have faith that Taeyong is really going to improve the image of SM rappers, because they know that's the only thing YG is beating them at right now.
