  1. She got admitted to hospital alr. Hope it's getting better and she can get long-term treatment to recover cuz it's just so depressing.

Mina's case is just the last straw and I'm sure there are numerous idols who suffer bully but can't speak out until it's too late. Bullying is too common for Korean society.

Btw she exposed Jimin, Seolhyun and FNC CEO as main culprits for her suffering. Thou I feel except Jimin the other 2 will get out of it just fine and it's disgusting 🤮🤮🤮

  2. Without COVID I would've travelled to Seoul last March. My sister has booked tickets & rooms etc.

It has nothing to do w Kpop thou, visiting Korea was not my idea, we just wanted to accompany our parents to somewhere nice and SK is just a really popular attraction for Asian tourists. Thou I do think Kpop helps in its popularity.

  3. On 5/9/2020 at 4:24 PM, Lee said:

Jang Joon Hwan, who directed the original film, will be in charge of directing, while CJ Vice Chairman Lee Mi Kyung will be in charge of the overall producing. Ari Aster, director of film “Hereditary” and “Midsommar,” will produce the remake, and the script will be adapted by writer Will Tracy, who wrote the HBO drama “Succession.”

Wow this is one heck of a team, like best of both worlds combine..

  4. How can u consider "toptier" level in acting? I think provided they work hard and know what they're good at, they'll have their places in the film/drama industry. They might not be A-list actresses/actors, but they'll have good projects.

Btw I'm only here to promote Sohye, who's got rookie nomination in Baeksang and Chunsa Awards for an indie film. She also got much praise by Kim Hee-ae when working tgt. She was an actor trainee before an idol so don't know if it counts lol

  5. It's interesting how Kim Hee-ae came back to JTBC with another "affair" drama. She betrayed her husband for a 20 y/o men in her first JTBC drama (Secret Love Affair), and got betrayed back in The World of the Married 😅. The common here is both are HUGE success for JTBC:)). JTBC should def invite her again for another affair drama 😝

Secret Love Affair has started a great direction for JTBC, dramas focusing on social problems: affairs, school bully, educational pressure, plastic surgery, social class etc. While OCN is strong with thrillers/horrors and TvN is just developing genres as diverse as possible.

  6. lol it's not even controversial, THAT fanboy is the controversial one. His body is his but that obsession isn't healthy.

My friend used to work in showbiz, he already quit and tell me some interesting things there, I can tell you "manufactured", "marketed" image is the absolutely truth even in a country with small entertainment industry like ours. I'm sure with Kbiz, it's just more high-quality/professionally manufactured. There's nothing wrong w that, it's just ppl often have unrealistic expectation.

  7. ahhh, I started this show longggg ago, but delayed watching after 8 eps as I was busy then. Today I binge watched the latter half and now I'm sooooooooo heart-broken, sigh...

I've watched so many melo (both good and bad ones), but I think this one left me with the most regret. If only our OTP hadn't been so loving, so sweet, so perfect for each other... (cry a river:(((((((((((((((). Every scene they were together, their chemistry was off the charts. I alr knew the J-ver had a sad ending, so kinda expected a tragedy here. Still, when the couple could actually agree to live on together, some random guy took hopes away with 2 bullet shots, gosh my heart was broken into "hundred millions" of pieces:(.

I have to say all the main actors (esp SIG and JSM) got performances of their life here. Despite all the flawed twists in the script, they both delivered complex, very interesting characters and most importantly, their deep love and understanding of each other felt soooooo real. So I can totally feel their pain and get why they can't live without the other. Like, other K-dramas pls look and learn, this is how a couple deeply, truly love.

For the REAL emotion it brought (it's a loooonggggg time since I was actually so touched by a K-drama), I might rewatch it some time when I'm in good mood.
