SMTM5 will begin in 2 weeks on May 6th, and URPS3 selection will probably begin somewhere in between the season like last year, so we'll know if Cathy is in. So, I've been having lots of thoughts as to what will happen with DIA, and I think KKS might promote the current 4 members of DIA to coincide with the debut of I.O.I, just to gain some exposure for later. Thus, why he created a new Vapp for DIA with only the 4 of them. http://www.vlive.tv/channels/F3D16B. I honestly don't know what they did with Chaewon, maybe she'll be with them next year. We know Chaeyeon can't comeback to DIA because she has a contract to fulfill with I.O.I, but I think that both Chaeyeon and Cathy thought they would both make it into the top 11, so they probably signed a contract saying they'll be gone for a year or something like that to promote for Mnet. Thus, why Cathy hasn't been back with DIA. Also, in the Arena Homme interview, Cathy said she cares about others more so than other people. I think it's safe to say that she wont betray the group that she shares the same dream with. I'm not KKS, so I don't know his thought process, but if I was him, I'd wait for the perfect time to make a grand comeback next year. I'd have the Eunjin, Eunice, Jenny, Yebin, Cathy, Chaeyeon, Chaewon and I'd also add Dani and possibly Shannon. Shannon was recently seen dancing with Yama&Hotchicks & Dani for the recording of the song Crush in P101, so I think she might be having second thoughts of being in a girl group because the perks are way too good if a girl group becomes successful. You get to have solos, you get to do musicals, you get to go into acting, be in many variety shows, have lots of cf deals, etc.. It's one in a million that you'd be like IU or Ailee and have hits after hits. The same reason why Seunghee should have stayed and renew her contract, but I guess she had enough of waiting for so many years, and didn't want to take the risk of waiting again, so it's understandable. Dani and Shannon can both speak English, so they'll attract many international fans, making them a perfect addition to the group. If everything coincides accordingly, and if KKS is a lot smarter than what we can give him credit for, then we can expect to see a revival of the next big girl group. It's very possible for DIA to become very big (they have goddess Chaeyeon, dance machine Eunjin who looks like Sulli, a rapstar queen Cathy, and talented foreign favorites like Dani, Shannon, Yebin, Eunice & Jenny), but it depends on what step KKS is going to make. I just wish things can happen right away, but we got to be patient.

KKS is probably thinking of ways to promote other members, and hopefully, it's not just Vapp. I think even making a unit group is fine for now until everyone else returns. Dani can be part of that unit group.

I dug up this old photo shoot of Chaeyeon, maknae can be so hot! Does anyone know where all the other members GanGee photos are? I only see Eunjin and Chaeyeon.

If people compares Chaeyeon's look to Suzy, and I'd compare Eunjin to Sulli because that is who she reminds me of. She would have been big if DIA was more popular, her visuals are no joke. Also, Chaeyeon is still following Seunghee on Instagram, she's so loyal to her members.

I feel that Eunjin should have gone on Produce 101. She would have been a dancing machine like Chungha and get them praises and recognition. Her looks is also top tier.

Cathy, and especially Chaeyeon, have huge leverage coming from Produce 101. I don't know if people would still be interested in DIA without them in the group. If Cathy is back with DIA, then they can add in Dani and promote but there's no news of it yet. We'll see in the coming weeks.

Yes, but I think they'll probably wait for Cathy if she goes on Unpretty Rapstar 3, and Chaeyeon, after she's done with IOI, and re-debut as an entirely new group with young and popular members. DIA might be on a hiatus for a very long time.. Just looking at the views and hearts of the recent Vapp (link) where Dani, Cathy, and Chaeyeon appeared far surpassed any of the ones DIA ever had, so no surprises from KKS.

Yeah, they don't care about rappers at all because none of the main rappers made it through the final around. People who watch P101 care mostly about looks and being innocent. That's why it's better if Cathy went on Unpretty Rapstar to gain Korean fans. Fiestar's Yezi gained a lot of fans during UR2, and it was due to her talents. It's a good thing that people are putting behind the evil edits Mnet gave Cathy so that she can start over again.

There was an article somewhere that talks about sponsors of Cfs who were expecting Sejong, Somi, Sohye, Pinky, Mina, Joojung, and Chaeyeon to be part of the debut group. I wouldn't be surprised that it was one of Mnet's underhanded tactic to get some of the girls to top 11 due to $$. Because before the final round, Pinky and Mina were around rank 16-18? Then they moved up a lot during the last round. Also, isn't it convenient that those girls did the jelly Cf practice during one of the episodes, and then they used it as a real Cf?
