  1. I also doubt either of the two will be able to breakthrough to the US. Little Mix has been the biggest GG act in a decade and had only three (or five) of their singles certified on RIAA.
  2. *In the United States / North America For 9 years, Little Mix has been the standard and the group to beat in the UK/ Europe, with all of their American rivals fizzling out before securing major hits (BTW, their new album is dropping next month and it WILL be making a splash on the UK billboards). Walking into the 2020 era, Chloe x Halle managed to shoot up in popularity and critical acclaim with their second studio album and with Halle being casted as Ariel, there's a chance for them to get worldwide attention. With Korean girl groups making waves in the States, can Chloe x Halle manage to pave the way for the other rookie and known girl groups here? Can BlackPink, Twice, G(Idle) and other K-GG's with a strong Western fandom find themselves with potential rivals?
  3. Jade gave us E V E R Y T H I N G we could ever want.
  4. Jade came in contact with someone with Covid-19 and was self isolating, so she was unable to be apart of the performance.
  5. Black Swan thread. It's been a long time since I've been on here... Though I'm not much of a Kpop fan anymore, I made a new thread for the group. I get that it's a reboot but the way (BP) RaNia ended was a disaster; attempting to write off being literally ditched by their last remaining OG members by rebooting in a poorly managed group and a disastrous addition of members who were never really part of the group (Alex, Namfon, and Seonghyun), a member who left due to a hidden pregnancy, and just an overall tainted reputation - it feels right to simply start fresh. No need to bring up old members, stalker fans, and past memories for essentially a whole new set of girls. A bit of a tangent but it sucks that the group even has to battle the old history. I thought it was trashy for DR Music to not make a new Youtube and Social Media accounts for them but Black Swan's debut MV and the high reviews from fans and non fans for their song leaves me hopeful that they can actually climb up the ladder of success (It reminds me of the initial hype RaNia's second gen had with Demonstrate) but only if DR doesn't you know.. Fuck it up. Again.

  8. The back audio was a mess and her dancer nearly dragged her off stage because outfit wouldn't rip off but this was still an AMAZING performance. She has also has several Korean React to her and it was very positive. She would've trended on Naver and got some relevancy because her company is "MINZY-ING" her.

  11. 6 on my left ear, 3 on my right (I did the top 3 on my left on my own when I was in high school and BOI when that ice wore off, I sure as fuck left the other ear alone). Both of my nipples and my belly button. I wanted my wrist, but I saw a schoolmate get hers knocked out during volleyball (and there is literally a piece of metal inserted into the arm) and that was YIKES x YUCK so I threw away that idea. If I had the nose for it, I'd have gotten that done too.

  13. Well Dream disbanded in 2017 when the E-GIRLS was rebooted. Dance Earth Party disbanded in late 2018. Flower disbanded this past September. And the sub unit ShuuKaren was disbanded when Shuuka left the company due to complications of an old spinal injury. There hasn't been any word on whether or not SudannaYuzuYully will still continue as a sub unit. In 2017 when they rebooted E-Girls, they also threw away the old concept of bunnies and rabbits and created E.G.Family. Once LDH announced their first girl auditions in 7 years (and it was open, meaning non EXPG people could apply), it added to the fact that the old system was dead and that whatever GGs came out of EXPG LAB would not be apart of E.G Tribe. There is to be a new Japanese GG either late next year or 2021 consisting of the girls who were successfully chosen from their 2018 girls audtion. This year, LDH Europe announced Auditions for a new group, which Yuzuna will be apart of it. Debut date has not been announced but has been confirmed as pushed back. Also Girls2 was originally supposed to be managed by Sony so it's unclear what happened and why they're under LDH but I still digress that there was never confirmation in whether this group was long term or not. Edit: The new Japanese GG will be apart of the E.G.Family.
  14. It's a group for a show, made up of other fake groups that were once apart of the cast, for some series. I hardly consider that a legit group (This isnt an attack on you). There are EXPG lab members in it, which gives it creditability but it falls more into the "project group" category because it exists as an extension of the show + LDH has 2 planned GGs set to debut in a year+, and this wasnt one of them.
  15. No, that's just someone shamelessly promoting their Oshi group. LDH launched LDH GIRLS Auditions (first time in 7 years) for a new GG last year and 11 girls made it and were given formal training but no news have been announced yet. Its expected that they'll debut late next year or 2021. They also had Auditions in Europe for a new group this year (Auditions were co-ed, so unsure of what the final group will be or if there will be 2). It was open to all ethnicities and the final sector of the girls team had only 1 Japanese. Their in home producer AfroJack will be producing them. That is the group that Yuzuna will be joining. They were slated for a 2021 debut.
