Former 9muses member Sera reacts to the MV.... Her thoughts is exactly why I'm glad that DR is no longer focusing on the Korean market because a good one third of the 3rd/4th gen have had different ethnic groups in a group, so why is BS any different? Because Fatou is Black? Leia isn't even the first foreigner pushed as the center or face of the group and if you're counting nationalities, then the numbers double. BS's debut was better than BPR entire career and this comeback seems to be doing better.

Wait a minute.... She signed contract with Mystic to debut as soloist and when they offered her a role in the girl group, she declined and left. She mentioned that the political climate between Japan and Korea at the time of her signing was a big part of why she wasn't more actively releasing music (it wouldn't be promoted). So are you saying that Miyu was never going to be apart of the group? There was literally no indication of that from either of them. Now I'm wondering if the same thing is what happened to Soomin. Promised to be a solo act but pushed towards the girl group....??? Is that also why Sandy left? I have so many questions now...

I can't help but feel some bitterness at the situation because Miyu, Soomin, and even a few other trainees could've gotten a real chance of debuting had they not wasted so much time with Mystic. I feel like Miyu will return to Japan and focus mainly on her Youtube Chanel, possibly releasing her own produced material online. But I have an irrational wish that she'll look at some other companies like WM or Source Music who are gearing to debut a new GG in the upcoming year and join them. I don't care for her to be in a Korean group per se, but I feel like she'd have a better chance of making something of herself in one than as a soloist in either country.

Not surprised to see Miyu leave. They wasted her time, no, they wasted everyones time. Though Suhyun was my favorite, it was Jimin, Soomin, and Miyu who I looked most forward too. If Suhyun wasn't signed as an actress I'm sure she would've left them a while go too. I moved on from KPOP years ago but was still hoping to see Mystic Girls debut and it's unfortunate that I no longer have any interest or hope. I still can't believe it's been three years (more than that actually because Mix Nine was 2017) and there has been nothing. Guess Shion, Dooyoon, and JehA weren't missing out when they left.

I fell off the KPOP wagon a couple years ago and haven't followed up this new gen but I just peeked in and Black Swan has gotten official colors, a logo, a vlog on their YouTube, actual appearances, consistent cover releases to entertain fans thorough the covid pandemic, their fancafe is always up to date, and they have some kind of v-live/afreeca where they'll be posting customized updates and whatever for fans. The girls also said they're aiming to release their new single in a month. They have more in their 1st year than the reboot had in its entire lifetime. Not only that, but they all seem to get along much better than BPR did and so far it seems like they have an actual fanbase. Small, but still there. Crazy that it took DR 10 years to get it right.

While this lineup would've done the single much better, it's all about timing and the reboot was able to get their 15 minutes of fame from the comeback though DR didn't do anything to capitalize off of it. Funny... That dance routine that Alex said was last minute and was never done before was the original dance of MMA which I'm sure she had seen and heard prior to them re-editing it. Now that the curtain has closed it makes you think back on how much we all blindly defended her without any regard to what others said. Maybe she really didn't like practicing like Ravi said and Ravi just tossed her out of the formations out of anger.
