Wasn't the best performance and expected more, luckily united is shite. Dirty tactics and Herrera got what he deserved. Pogba lumping around like a 10m player. Kante: 1/2 the size, 1/3 of the price, Twice the player. Click here to view the Tweet

Really wanted it to be a draw. Did City even leave 1st gear? Would've been 3/4-1 with Aguero.

Kante was immense. Never thought I'd see someone doing the Makelele role again. Honestly if we had signed Nainggolan that midfield would be in a whole different level. Too bad he decided to stay. Hazard's allowed more freedom in attack, not needing to track back and allowing the fullback to run past him, which then gets picked up by Kante or Matic. So when he gets the ball he's running straight at the centre backs, like for the goal, rather than being lower on the pitch and getting outnumbered 3 to 1 like most times in the past.

Easily one of the best in the league, if not the best. Glad that he put last season behind him, because Eden Hazard makes football fun.

Oscar is absolutely world class and unplayable on his day. Sadly that day is once a year. There were times where he was rated higher than Neymar in the national team. I think he'd do well in Serie A though. I had such high hopes for him and didn't really lose faith until last season. He came as a very talented promising young player, scored a wonder goal against Juventus and never really shown signs of improvements since then. He was given full faith by Jose as the undisputed no.10 in the expense of Mata and a now superior De Bruyne. If he stays, I do think he'd do well in a 4-3-3 under Conte rather than the no.10 previously. But he might be leaving though, just watched the open training session a few hours ago and he looked miserable. Also miserable were Matic and Remy But I also have a feeling he'll stay and if he doesn't impress, he'd be off next summer. How are you feeling for the game against West Ham? Payet must be licking his lips about the prospect of going against Ivanovic Don't think it would be as bad as last season, defensively, now that the back 4 has proper protection from the midfield. But regardless, it is in dire need of reinforcements. I miss Ashley Cole.

Woooo #12! Who cares what everybody says. Haters gonna hate no matter what you do, winners gonna win. Just learn to ignore them, their sweating and hating has no effect on the girls in the bigger picture.

Well I guess everybody is calling him a b2b but I personally see b2b as someone that can contribute to both end of the field, someone like prime Essien, Matuidi for France. Pogba always has more to his attacking game (like you said with his natural dribbling and technique, in which i 100% agree) than defensive, he played as the most advance of the 3 midfield for France in front of Kante and Matuidi. But hey that's just semantics and not too important, what's important is that he is a good player and I'm actually looking forward to see how he develops. Not really gonna wish him or Mourinho good luck though because obviously they are in a rival team :P Hope people don't get to hung up on banter. What make football more fun is the banter between supporters.

Thanks for the reply. All you said makes alot sense. I wasn't trying to discredit Mou on anything, rather stating the facts that he never stayed longer than 3 seasons at any clubs he managed. And he was always loved at Chelsea, the fact that the crowd at Stamford Bridge still sung his name even though he completely lost it last season speaks volume of how much he is a huge huge figure for the club. What I said about Pogba were not my words, it was what I heard from Italians/Juve fans. I think anyone would be sad to lose someone like Pogba regardless the fee, heck I would be sad to lose Hazard even for 120m. I wouldn't call him a b2b though, his defensive game is non existent and he is very ineffective when played deeper (Euro final, don't know why Deschamp wasted him that deep). But it would be interesting if he manage to up his game in England.

I've given up on competitive mode for now. It's hard for me to get a group going and solo queueing is a mess. From my placement matches and a couple after that I was always grouped with people who wanted to do everything but going for the objectives. I'm at 44 now and couldn't be bothered with it And Zenyatta, my second most played hero at 8 hours, still no rapid discord. There are people saying that it's broken and there are youtube videos of players achieving it but not granted the achievement. I know I've done 4 discord orb kills/assists in 6 seconds multiple times but still nothing.

Thanks for mentioning Chelsea's manager merry go round circus land (some Chelsea fans thinks is ridiculous, though alot of the sackings were warranted) but how many manager's have you had after SAF? Sir Alex is the best manager that ever lived, he is the exception not the norm and utd may not see the managerial stability like they had with him. I'm not a big advocate of changing managers but I think some people are taking it way too far, every club in the world have managers on a shorter term nowadays (Even Pep with his 3 years rolling contracts and all this teams have been sucessfull) other than Arsenal of course, with Wenger and we know how that's like. I am a big Mourinho fan, I grew up watching his team dominate. But he was never the same after his time in Real. He was more bitter, abrasive and irritable. I think most Chelsea supporters were hoping he'd stay for the long run this time and he was given the chance. Chelsea were 1 point above relegation in December, I think any manager would be sweating at that circumstances His interviews were controversial and bringing bad rep to everyone involved, he threw some players under the bus (saying to the press that Matic can't even do a simple pass, etc) I still appreciate what he has done for us but this Jose is different from the first time round. Chelsea were playing good attacking football the first half of our title winning season but after that 5-3 loss against spurs on boxing day, he reverted back to his natural defensive style. An attacking Chelsea were never seen again after that. We (chelsea fans) were also saying the same things you are saying "I'd rather win while playing shit on a stick football than losing playing nice football like Arsenal" So I can definitely relate with you on that. He might play better football with Utd, since everybody was sick with Van Gaal's football. Back to his abrasiveness: Jose is definitely a natural motivator, but his style of motivation had always been "us against the world" mentality and that seemed to have worked in 14/15, but in the long run it may affect his relationships with his players in a negative way. This was not the old Jose, he had Essien calling him daddy for example. I hope that he somehow stop being this bitter (yes, he looks happy on his first interview because all manager will say good things about your club on the first day and look happy) but alot of people do think that his time in Madrid kinda broke him abit. And about Utd being the job he always wanted? How would you know that? Did he say so. He also said that he came back to Chelsea as "one of us". Anyway that's not important now. I really do believe you guys will have a good season under him and I don't think he will implode on his 3rd season (I said it in a joking manner on my previous post) but I wouldn't think that he'd stay as long as you expect. Pogba is a good player, talented and has quality no doubt. But to those who actually watch him week in week out, he is nowhere near the hype or the price tag. Take his youtube highlight reel long shots and he doesn't have as much to his game than people think. Still a good player and many teams would have him in their squad but overhyped. The verdict on Pep and City are still not clear, and as you said he might not kick on straight away, but he might do. City has quality in every position to begin with, bought quality players and have a good balance of youth and experience, no doubt to anyone without bias that they have the best squad in the PL. I am abit skeptical of Pep since this would be his first time in a league where his team being champions is not a given. It's gonna be a good season and an entertaining one. Hope we can continue to discuss more in the future. EDIT: This is also a reply to BasedChungha, forgot to multi quote. Sorry mate, thanks for the input

Jose said the Community Shield is a friendly. So to him it's not a trophy Or it's a friendly if you lose. A genuine question to Utd fans: How do you all feel about Mourinho. The man who were the recipient of "F off Mourinho" chants in Old Trafford. How do you feel about his style of play, after the dross that was LVG's football? How would you rate your title chances compared to City? Genuine questions, not a dig or anything for anyone who's sensitive.

I see your point about Marquinhos, though I thought Barca are no longer interested after signing Umtiti. I don't know the deal with Rodriguez though. He seems highly rated, reportedly has a 20m clause but has not made a move just yet. I was impressed by Hector during the Euros but heard from some German fans that he is actually pretty average. I would love to get a left footed LB and move Azpi back to the right. But definitely CB is a priority, has been for quite some time now. So the fact that we are still stuck with the same back 4 is quite annoying. De Laurentiis has always been hard to negotiate with and Napoli doesn't really need money after selling Higuain, so I can see why they are playing hard ball over Koulibally. I've heard from a Benfica fan that Lindelof has a similar play style with Bonucci, which is probably my dream CB (who won't leave Juve, probably ever), so if it's true I can see Conte being interested. Oscar scored another goal today. That would probably fool Conte into thinking he is quality, until he goes back to hiding in September :( By then he'd probably had his extension signed Don't know what's going on with Matic. He's been running like a headless chicken for awhile. I have hope that he can somehow find form under Conte but I'm not sure. Lukaku is a donkey, steer clear please. I think a top 4 finish should be the aim for this coming season. It would be harder than it should without an upgrade to that horrid defence, but not at all unrealistic. I think City would probably win the title, sadly. Let's see how good Baldiola is a league like England. Not too worried about United at the moment; they'd do well under Jose and probably win a trophy or two until he self destruct in his 3rd season. Never worried about Arsenal and Liverpool. How do you feel about this coming season? I'm quite excited for Conte as he has been a breath of fresh air.

He played like half a minute against Walsall? But he did pretty well for Bremen. Even if we get a CB tomorrow, the chances are that the same disappointing back 4 will start against West Ham. Let that sink in for a moment Rumblings about Koulibally signing an extension with Napoli. Roma's not selling Manolas. Seen links with Mustafi and Lindelof (don't know much about him other than he plays for Benfica) Not sure why we aren't in for Marquinhos who looked set to leave earlier in the window. 1. Marquinhos 2. Ricardo Rodriguez (Now that Baba went on loan) 3. And maybe Isco who looks to be moving on. Throw Oscar away somewhere and get him in, suddenly the team looks very good. ------------Costa-------Batsman------------ Hazard----------------------------------Willian/Isco (if possible) ------------Kante----------Cesc----------- Rodriguez--Marquinhos--Zouma--Dave -------------------Tibo---------------------- Not sure about Cesc in a two man midfield though. But this is how I would set up when having a majority of possesion against smaller teams. Maybe 4-3-3 against the big teams. Throw Chalobah in there, he's been impressive in pre season so far. Probably won't happen though :(

Not a big fan of the summer skins, other than the Genji skin. Alot of people are going crazy for the McCree American skin, but because alot of them are Americans. Lucio's Selecao skin is quite nice too I guess and I'm hoping I can get it as I level up.
