Hey guys ^_^ Going to bring up a new topic amidst all the excitement for Magic. I wasn't a fan in 2009. How big was Sorry, Sorry when it was released? Did the kpop world (or just the world in general) collectively drop its jaw at the awesomeness? Did it take time to catch on? Tell me the story! I want to hear from fans who experienced the Sorry, Sorry comeback when it happened including details like why Kibum is only in the closeups (I guess he was off acting) and why guys like Shindong, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Hangeng don't have any lines etc... I guess I want to know because A) the song is insanely good B) some of the members according to (I think it was) the I AM. documentary said they didn't "get" it because it was just the same thing over and over again while others knew it was going to be smash hit so I just want some POVs haha ^_^ I became a fan (albeit a very casual one) right before Sexy, Free and Single and that song is definitely no Sorry, Sorry haha

If AOA does a solo concert what should their setlist be and what kind of skits, videos and solo stages should they do? Here's something I've come up with: (Heart Attack intro video) 1. Not yet... guess I'll move on to Weekly Idol? I likely will never have a bias though... Unless something extremely decisive happens, like a fanmeet or something and I interact with one way more than the others. One day maybe haha Those fan arts look awesome too^^^ Kind of want the Japanese album...maybe I'll wait to hear what the new songs sound like

So I just finished One Fine Day. I want to go to Hainan now ^_^ Choa: Yeah, she seems to be in her own little world. That's perfectly fine Talking to her future boyfriend, staying out of the water (at first), taking pictures with the white parrot while the trainer is telling Mina not to touch the colorful one haha (I think hitler wrote "Choa DGAF" haha). She seems to be one of the fearless ones when it comes to rides and stuff like that Jimin: She's scared of everything it's hilarious Yuna: Honestly didn't seem to get much camera time. She saved the clubbing scene though O_O and was cute when she was scared on the bridge. She seems to be the most soft-spoken and quiet member. Hyejeong: Also didn't seem to get much camera time? Tries to be one of the scaredy-cats when in fact she's not. Mina: She got lots of spotlight during this show. That's also perfectly fine. And the way she looks at Seolhyun. That was love in her eyes. Seolhyun: Crazy to think they flew her out there for just one day but, hey, a day off is a day off plus I guess the travel time counts as time off as well. Chanmi: Holy moly did she get her time to shine on this show. Why can't they give her more time like this in the music? Definitely fearless and one of the more mature maknaes...like Seohyun or something. The hidden camera in the last episode... I thought it was real even when I read comments beforehand suggesting it was a hidden camera. Chanmi = best actress and Hyejeong = best supporting actress

Thanks everyone! I will add One Fine Day to my watch list. Yes, I have seen videos subbed by hitler did nothing wrong haha They're hilarious StarShapedGummy, my friend showed me lots of stuff. After showing me Gee and The Boys it was finally Hoot that got me hardcore into SNSD and the journey into kpop started. I like some Super Junior and f(x) title tracks and maybe one or two songs by other artists such as 2NE1 (Hate You), Big Bang (Monster), Kara, T-ARA (Roly-Poly), Orange Caramel (Lipstick). I've only bothered to learn the members of SNSD, f(x) and Super Junior though (this was 3 years ago) *until* AOA just recently followed shortly by EXID. One group that I just cannot get into that he's shown me is SHINee (he thinks they're pound for pound the most talented group in kpop...well them or Infinite) but I value catchy songs over talent and SHINee as far as I'm concerned has none of those. (EDIT: SHINee lovers don't hate me :P It's just I haven't heard anything by them I'd have on repeat you know?) And yes, I've listened to AOA Black. I love Moya and Get Out and every now and then I'll watch a song from that show when they were playing live instruments. The mix is bad but at least I get to hear Mina's bass haha. Moya's video is hilarious too when it turns out that Choa's ex is the comedian, not the other dude they were showing in the whole video

Thanks! I watched the webcast they did right before Heart Attack came out. That was pretty funny. It was nice seeing the maknae do most of the talking. I also watched all the episodes of Open Up but while entertaining, that show honestly felt rushed. I think it was self-produced? I want to see them do Showtime and have all (or most) of the girls in every episode. But yeah, even after watching those it's still hard for me to choose a favorite member haha.

Hi everyone ^_^ Just an introduction because I've recently become a fan of EXID. They are probably the first KPOP group that I discovered by myself. The Ah Yeah EP showed up on my recommended list on YouTube. Not going to lie, I think it's their name...EXID...that made me give them a shot. EXID just sounds so cool. (used to think it was Eksid until I watched some shows and smartened up...E-X-I-D). I think it's Hyerin's chorus part during Ah Yeah that got me hooked. She totally kills it. At first I thought she was the main singer but that's obviously Solji. Ah Yeah and I Feel Good are my favorite songs. Ah Yeah is honest to God probably my favorite kpop video. Normally I watch the music video once and then only live performances but it's different with Ah Yeah. The video actually has a story and a message you know? And those Hani closeups in the newsroom O_O. And the slow revelation that none of the pictures are naughty while that guy is singing "where do you live? do you live alone?" and then they all start smiling. Love it. Anyway, they're coming back soon I think? Excited for that. Hoping to hear some more Hani/LE/Hani/LE like in Up & Down and Ah Yeah because that format is working out pretty well for them right now. I don't think I've mentioned Jungwha? I don't think I've seen a group where it's more obvious who the maknae is. And she's adorable, she looks like she's having so much fun when she performs, especially during I Feel Good.

Hi everyone ^_^ Discovered this forum on Thursday. Was going to make an account the next day...or the day after that...but yeah. Anyways, here I am today. Basically, my friend showed me Heart Attack about a month ago. Something about the song stuck and I checked out the song again a few days later and I've been hooked on AOA ever since. This almost never happens because this same friend is constantly showing me new kpop groups and it never goes beyond "*shrugs* Yeah, this song is pretty good I guess.". But with AOA, within a few days I had all the members memorized and their 3 EPs ordered. My favorite EP is probably Like A Cat but I can listen to all 3 all the way through no problem. I think I like EPs better than full lengths. 20 minute albums are brief and don't overstay their welcome you know what I mean? I don't think I have ONE favorite song. I'd say Confused, Short Hair, Heart Attack, Like A Cat, Girl's Heart and Joa Yo are tied for favorites. It's funny, while I like Miniskirt and it was their breakthrough single, I don't consider it a favorite. Extremely hard for me to pick a favorite member. Maybe I don't have one? Yuna should get more recognition though and Chanmi should get more parts because she kills it during the rap part of Confused and when she did Jimin's rap part in Girl's Heart on that one show. Anyways, I'm probably preaching to the choir here but that's my story as an AOA fan so far... On to some new stuff, I'm excited for their Japanese album coming out soon and for their first solo concerts. I really want to see what the format will be for their concert, how they will balance the band and the dance group during the show, if there will be any solo stages etc...
