  1. Okay, I watched the video and the comeback stage. Yeah... the dance is nothing spectacular... pretty chill. It is what it is. Also, MIDNIGHT RULES!
  2. I'll admit, the new EP wasn't love at first listen but I've listened to it a couple more times and I like it much better now. And how bad is the new choreo? I'm afraid to watch Is it an "I'm So Hot" by MOMOLAND level of lazy? Better, worse?

  4. Yup, I withdraw my L.I.E statement. Now that I've heard the preview medley it's definitely more like Eclipse.
  5. ^^^^^^ I'm getting L.I.E vibes, triumphant sounding (triumphant in the sense of finally telling your significant other to fuck off go away/to hell) yet melancholic
  6. Got on an hour and forty minutes after the onsale time and the floor was completely sold out and there was only one ticket left in the lower bowl buuuuuuuut that's okay because I managed to get a seat in the upper bowl which is what I wanted anyways. Congrats to everyone who got tickets and good luck to those who will be trying later on. Starting May 25 I have to avoid setlist spoilers I'm guessing the show will be similar to the Japan Dome Tour but with songs from Fancy You added.
  7. Thanks! Thank you for the suggestions! I'll be going by me lonesome and I'll probably just go for the cheapest tickets. Do you think any of the cheap seat tickets will be available a little over an hour after the onsale time? As long as I have a full view of the stage that's good enough for me. Unfortunately I'll be at work when they go on sale so I'm probably going to have to buy a ticket off of StubHub or something. But anyways I guess I should introduce myself because I don't think I've ever posted here before. My name is Phil. I used to listen to TWICE a little during the Page Two era. At the time I liked Like Ooh-Ahh, Cheer Up, and My Headphones On but I didn't seriously start listening to them until recently. Now I like, in addition to the already mentioned songs, most of the title tracks, TT, Knock Knock, Likey, Signal, Dance the Night Away, What is Love?, Yes or Yes, and Fancy. I think that TT, Signal, and Fancy are brilliant. I need some b-sides suggestions though . I like Three Times A Day but what are some other good non title tracks? Also, I'm currently dying at this video of Dahyun in the Swiss Alps. She's deathly afraid of heights and for some reason she's speaking in English while Sana and Chaeyoung are trying to carry her to the edge. "Thrill walk! No! Noooo! Help-uh me! Help-uh me!"
  8. Well, tickets are going on sale tomorrow. I hope I can get a ticket from Ticketmaster and not any resale websites because I don't want to have to pay... twice the original price.
  9. Thanks for recommending Made in EXID! It's quite the fun show, especially the episode where they go parasailing Makes me want to visit Phu Quoc
  10. Hi everyone, long time no see! I just got back from Tiffany's show in Toronto. I never thought I'd see anyone from GG but it has finally happened. My goodness, Tiffany looked like an angel in white. There was an aura about her, I'm telling you. So the Mod Club in Toronto was packed. The line went all the way to and around the corner of the street. There was merch, 4 or 5 different t-shirt designs and a tote bag. The shirts were decent. Someone also printed some mini banners for fans to hold during the show. Dozens of people had brought their GG light sticks as well. So Tiffany had a live band, dressed in black and she was in white. I'm not going to spoil the exact set list but she played a lot of solo stuff, of course, and covers. She sounded great and she is in a very positive place right now. She had lots of positive and happy messages for the crowd in between almost each song. The musical part of the show lasted about an hour. She then took a quick break and returned to read some questions from Twitter and from the crowd directly. So if you have Twitter make sure to ask her questions! She had specifically asked fans to hashtag "Toronto" and "LipsOnLips" so wait for her Tweet for New York or Minneapolis or whatever show you're going to and you might get your question read and answered on stage! I misremembered: There is only one Tweet to reply to for all cities: https://twitter.com/tiffanyyoung/status/1101889696127365132 When she was done with the Twitter questions she took questions directly from the crowd. There were lots of song requests. She sang snippets of Mr.Mr., Into The New World, and Genie (Someone had asked her to say "Toronto, put it back on!"). Someone fainted after the Into The New World singalong and Tiffany was quite concerned. She asked the crowd to make room for the EMTs to get in and help the person out. Afterwards she continued to take questions. So I would definitely recommend this show if you're a fan. It was a short show, about an hour and a half, with the music/singing portion being about an hour long, but the tour is labelled as a "Mini Showcase" so it was pretty much what I expected. If you have more specific questions about the show feel free to ask.
  11. Was that a scam?! Was the show a hoax? As to why I drifted away... just had to take a break for a while, discover some new music and re-discover some old favourites. Also watched The Sopranos, the whole series, twice. Then The Wire. Then The Sopranos again. Then The Wire again. Then Seinfeld. Then re-watched 8/9 of Seinfeld. Then all of Frasier >_> THE TRUTH: 2017 was a bad year. The 1-2-3 combo of bad Hyuna concert (which I wrote about in the Rants thread somewhere) + Choa leaving AOA + canceled EXID show was so bad for me that I didn't even care when SNSD, the group that got me into KPOP, released Holiday Night.
  12. My (now second-to-)last post almost 2 years ago! ^^^^^ Well the EXID concert in Toronto never happened! It got pushed back a few months and then it was outright canceled! And the organizers gave me a refund but kept $20! Um, if a concert is 100% canceled I'm supposed to get 100% refunded! Anyways... For almost two years I didn't listen to much Korean music but, of course, EXID re-ignited my interest. Maybe it was because Solji had returned. Who knows? All I know is I checked out one of their live performances of "I Love You" and suddenly everything felt right in the world. The 5 of them are back together again and they have this great new song that follows the tried and true EXID formula. Then I looked at the stuff without Solji that I had slept on. My goodness, Eclipse, Full Moon and Lady are great! I especially like Hani and LE's Weeknd and Jeonghwa's solo Alice. And if that wasn't enough I find these videos of them playing charades with Dario and EXID is as hilarious as ever! I'm way down in the rabbit hole again folks. I don't know what's going to happen with their contracts and everything but if they continue I hope they'll keep on writing and performing great music and maybe try to do a Toronto show again. PS- Sorry for the self-centered post, just felt like sharing after all this time
  13. So EXID in Toronto...they're calling it a "fanmeet". I hope it'll be formatted better than Hyuna's "concert" a few months ago.
  14. Heart Attack at FESTA? Did they perform Good Luck or are they going to start pretending like that album never happened?
  15. CL coming to my part of the world? A 90-minute show? A bunch of 2NE1 covers? YES PLEASE! One little issue though: $75 - show only price $125 - priority entry + a free light stick Yes, a "free" light stick. Also, for $75 tickets it says "Enjoy the show" but not for the $125 and $300 tickets. What, they don't want those people to enjoy the show?
  16. Hyelin, the "hook" that got me into EXID from the moment she starts singing in Ah Yeah.
  17. Why is so freaking good. Hands On Me was instantly my favorite track thanks to the piano. It really drives the song. The title track and Up & Down are my other favorites with Fashion and Starlight begin really good as well. I almost named all the songs on the album. Solid release!
  18. Gotta start the show off strong with Mamamoo
  19. Here's another link: https://www.periscope.tv/w/1DXGyZrLjNPJM
  20. No problemo. Unfortunately the people who are streaming just said "Not sure if we're going to stream Mamamoo" right after I posted the link. D'oh! Hopefully there will be a Periscope stream that shows Mamamoo. All I did was search "kcon periscope" on Twitter.
  21. Presicope stream: https://www.periscope.tv/w/1ynJOPWdQwrxR Show hasn't started yet
