I wonder why the albums are suddenly charting again. Wouldn't surprise me if YG fixed the mess right before Winner's debut and couldn't be bothered when BB was negatively affected...

I was expecting closer to 5k lol.. This is really bad. It's weird how frontloaded the Japanese market is.

I dunno but I doubt it since ENL did really well in the weeks before San E took over. I doubt it's longevity can make up for that.

ENL is at 1.15M downloads now. Looks like it might reach about 1.4-1.5M eventually. That would put it at #2 yearly behind Some (1.75M and counting), but well ahead of GsD's Something (~1.25M) and AkMu (1.17 and counting).

A lot of interesting thoughts. I REALLY hope Scott is getting a dark arc because that probably means they will explore him becoming more beastly and/or a proper Alpha. I don't like the current Scott that spends half his energy, focus and strength suppressing his true nature. It's just not good television. He doesn't have to kill people, he just needs to embrace his nature and learn to control and use it to his advantage. I am really not that interested in Lydia's storyline this season but I understand it is a necessary in order to develop her banshee abilities. I just hope the pay off is worth it. Scott's dad will probably find out about Scott right before he dies (if he does, but I think so). I think Peter was relieved Scott wasn't dead because he intends to kill him to regain his Alpha status. Peter doesn't yet know Satomi is in town I think, who I think will be killed by Peter later.

About your spoiler, I still wonder what that means. Did they just sell below expectations for some reason or is this an indication BB's selling power is close to them? I am especially curious to find out how BB's selling power compares with albums now.

It happens with all major releases. I don't know why, maybe some stores register the sales too early or something. It's not pre-orders since these pre-release #s always count towards the total.

Everyone recording their own parts is one of the last parts of the recording process so this means nothing.

Pretty sure this will only result in even more VIPs voting. That fanbase prolly complained about "cheating" b/c they were ahead at first but then were unable to close the gap. Billboard is really stupid for listening to them. If cheats were really involved, they wouldn't just close the poll and open a new one. They would contact Polldaddy first to make them aware. It's not some random poll software too, Polldaddy is pretty big.

I don't think it's the reason, but YG sure doesn't mind. It probably has more to do with GD having a ton of schedules non-stop. I mean GD finished Alive in barely 2 months, but that was when he was 'reflecting' for his 'sins' and not doing anything else. He's constantly required to go out and fly across the continent. Must be hella annoying for someone trying to stay in the zone. It was already pretty obvious with last year's Dome Tour that YG is no longer investing in BB but merely reaping the benefits of seeds he planted in the past 7 years. It's yet another reason why I think the 2011 controversies were a blessing in disguise. YG stopped investing in BB even before that, but then his cash cow was suddenly at risk of collapsing and he had to continue investing after all.

It's TW. If you liked the previous seasons, you will like this one too.. The only thing I liked was what looked like the beginning of Scott becoming more beast-like. In the bathroom his teeth seemed more wolf-y than usual. We already saw in the 'weeks ahead' trailer that they will explore that later on. So Lydia's grandma is the Benefactor....what the hell.

Why would he send a shitload of assassins after every supernatural being in Beacon Hills if his end goal is to regain his lost power (alpha status)? The most logical explanation is that he knows he has to weaken them before he can make his final move but not sure. Satomi has no pack now so she's an Omega-Alpha(?) and obviously way weaker now.

Ep8 seems like more of the same to me. Scott 'dying' aka being just fine. Liam being smashed with a hammer which means he will prolly just have a temporary broken shoulder blade or some shit.
