Last night I dreamt I heard "Start a Fire (English Version)" on a popular American radio station. It sounded SO good. Though there was a really long instrumental between the second chorus and Alex's rap, and we were all like "uhhhhhhh"

Let's make sure we're managing our own expectations so that we don't end up disappointed. Ingenio is only grossing like $10k from this sale, and much of that needs to go to printing and shipping the albums. They're not going to have a lot of money left to play with - it might not even be enough to insure their filming equipment (the original stated reason for this Legends endeavor) let alone release new music or videos on top of that. Personally, I wouldn't waste a cent on re-making Dr. Feel Good. Onward into the future.

Wow, I have to admit I didn't expect to see things taking off so much. Hundreds of thousands of views on the fancams (admittedly the person who posts then has 100k subscribers, but still), actually selling more albums, preparing more promotions in more countries... damn, prove me wrong again BP RaNia!!! Very impressed.

I'd say the point is twofold: -to establish a narrative of momentum, as people are more likely to buy an album they see other people buying. Having the counter there in the first place was a terrible idea, and having it not move from day to day isn't doing their sales any favors. -to avoid the embarrassment of not being able to find 100 people on the entire planet who wants this album. They want the money sure, but I think they want the potential benefit of doing the reality show (gaining more of a following and being able to sell more albums in the future) more. You have to spend money to make money.

How can I even respond to this. I'm not paranoid, I'm just speculating based on the erratic way the sales number on their site has been changing. It isn't out of the question they'd want to make it look more popular than it is. Second you didn't even quote me, like was I not supposed to see this or something?
