creativity wise, sure Spirited Away is far better. but story/plot wise, Kimi no Na wa is better imo (also A++ OST). but both are good. we all know there will be a day another anime could dethrone Spirited Away. that day has come and Kimi no Na wa deserves it.

Kimi no Na wa - 10/10 i mean, there's literally nothing i could complain about it. and i'm glad i didn't see any spoilers or raise my expectation too high before watching.

i've been successfully avoiding Kimi no Na wa spoilers for months now, MONTHS. and i'm going to watch it in two days. only 2 days left. in theater. i can't describe how excited i am right now omg. i still have to try my best not to raise my expectation too high tho. buT TWO DAYS LEFTTT.

well, i don't believe all high rated animes are good but i do believe animes with ratings below 6.0 are shit. i have a habit of not reading the plot/summary before watching so ratings + genres + authors + studios help me a lot when i decide which one to watch. and usually i go for the ones with +7.5 ratings. also the "Stats" tab on anime profiles is pretty useful if you're skeptical about the ratings.

Fune wo Amu - 9/10

this was a very good read. although it saddened me at most parts, i'm glad they openly shared their struggles and insecurities. some times Mamamoo looks so carefree and happy on screen that i forget they also have it hard like any other idols. i know their laughter has faded a bit because of the schedules, but i guess everything has its price, i just hope that popularity won't take away their enthusiasm in the future. also most of the negative comments Hwasa and Moonbyul mentioned, it's like they read them straight from the bashing thread on OH (and here i thought comments from i-netz are irrelevant, i forgot the fact that k-netz could say the same thing, and even harsher).

my god the chart obsession of some people is too real. they even screenshot the 5 min chart and zoom the fuck in the 2 thin lines (that basically lay on each other) just to see if the song wins in that minute. just... why.

lmao @ instiz. i was thinking that the song gives off the same vibe with Love Lane a few mins ago though.
