I agree with this. You can have a straight crush, but it doesn't mean you want to date them (amber's case). Let's be honest the guy she was crushing on was really good looking even me who doesn't easily find Asian guys attractive thought he was very cute.   I also don't get why she is bringing up the whole girls want to date me thing lately either I feel she is just teasing us she definitely knows how to play with her ambiguity very well. I'm almost sure she is into girls she might have crushes on some guys but that doesn't mean she want to date them.

I don't think people's standards are too high though also majority of YG stans don't care much about vocal technique compared to let's say SM stans. I think we care more about performers and music that we overlook vocal flaws, you have to remember that we don't have outstanding vocalists in YG either. I think Lee Hi (not sure yet) and Jang Hanna are the only above average vocalists in YG. I think Bom's vocals are a little more stable this year, but she still needs to work a lot with her breathing imo because she tends to strain when she is singing.

Her pre debut features were really good I wish she had better technique so we can still listen to her old voice, her voice was so pleasant back then. She was a bit more stable this year though because 2ne1's crush album had more r&b feel than their previous albums.
