  1. Any Texas Blinks going to the BLACKPINK concert in Fort Worth on Wednesday May 8th?
  2. Ebony and Ivy Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (worth the hype and I'm no where near done yet) The Night Circus S By JJ Abrams Hidden Figures
  3. I fell for some really horrible April fools jokes today and yesterday. I'm so disappointed in myself. Got myself excited over an SNSD repackage that isn't even real
  4. Exactly. It's not like it's a full blown comeback. It's an SMtown concert. We shouldn't expect the 3 members that left the company to perform with the rest of the group. They aren't SM artists anymore. If they do then that's great. But we shouldn't take it as a sign that SNSD are officially 5 members. Would it be awkward seeing them perform their hit songs as 5 members? Of course, just like it was when they first performed as an 8 member group. But we don't even know what they're performing. They might perform separately. They might not sing any of their group songs.
  5. True. The only group members I can think of that have gone solo and been successful in a significant way are GD, Hyuna and Taeyeon. In all technicalities, Taeyeon has had a solo career for quite some time now (if you count her OSTs). The public already liked her and didn't have to guess what they could expect out of her (which is nothing less than perfect vocals). If SM are gonna give the girls solo careers they need to up their individual popularity, which we know they aren't gonna do. Some of the girls have an individual fandom strong enough to sell a significant amount of albums and chart decently (Taeyeon, Yoona and formerly J*ssica, Seohyun, and Tiffany). I doubt SM is gonna scrap Yuri's solo album just because her Station song didn't chart well
  6. Yes! After all of that mess on their 10th anniversary comeback, sones pulled through with the sales and a Bonsang for GG!
  7. Whatever happened to the chinese web drama Seohyun was supposed to be in?
  8. Seriously though. I'm sure that the SNSD members know that their group activities are going to slow down significantly. But if all of the members wanted to continue holding on to the group why would Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung hold on to being SNSD members outside of the company if they knew that SNSD had no future activities? What's the point in them holding onto it if their is no future for the group what so ever? This is the reality for older groups. None of the SNSD members said that this was going to be easy. But the fact that the members negotiated terms with SM rather than leave the group shows that they are willing to try. Things slow down especially when you are 10 years into your career. SNSD has come to terms with that. SNSD is not SM's number 1 priority anymore. If we only get a comeback every 2 years that's fine. Let's just come to terms with the fact that we are not going to see the SNSD we saw a few years ago. They aren't going to constantly have group activities or tours to go on anymore and they aren't going to be coming back with a new album every single year. But we might see more well thought out comebacks from the girls now.
  9. Seohyun has been out to more events and schedules this past month. I love the Burberry doodle event.
  10. It seems like Taeyeon can't win when she makes a mistake. They act like she purposefully tried to cause an accident or was under the influence. The fact that people are using this as an opportunity to hate on her as though she did it on purpose (even though she offered to pay for the damages) is disgustingly low for k-netz.
  11. I don't see it like that. It's obvious why all 3 of them left SM because they don't trust SM with their solo activities. Especially Seohyun. They left to focus on their careers. Seohyun is in her late twenties, has been under SM for 10+ years, and as much as she has dedicated to the group and has shown how hard working she is yet they never helped her get anything. The same with Sooyoung. And after that flag scandal with Tiffany SM did absolutely no damage control and just let her suffer in silence for damn near the rest of the year. If Seohyun wanted to be focus completely on herself and her career she could've left SNSD. The same goes for Sooyoung. But they still want to be in this group. Hell, Seohyun is starting her own one-woman company and is taking responsibility for everything that happens with herself as an individual and as a member. And they still refer to themselves as SNSD members.
  12. I don't know anything about this but let's do this!
  13. So from what I am getting from this is that Seohyun, Sooyoung, and Tiffany simply did not renew their contracts with SM but that they are still members of SNSD. Perhaps the remaining ones still at SM simply renewed their contracts as individuals with the company. So it's simply a difficult situation to try and work out how to go forward as a group when 3 of the members aren't under the same company anymore. I could be wrong though.
