Congrats to our boys for their win and also congrats to myungsoo on his new drama
-
I hope our boys are staying strong

Happy for sungyeol!!!

Not sure which one is jihoon, but the guy wearing blue is on a different visual level

I actually respect dongwoo for that,he plays a lot and seems unserious sometimes, but his actions at times can be so manly and uncowardly.why beat around the bush when you can just hit the unfollow button?Aside from Dongwoo who just went and clicked the unfollow button, Everyone tried to not make it so obvious tbh.. I have to say sunggyu's way was the most elaborate one.. Deleting every pic except sungyeol's, unfollowing everyone to 0 for awhile and then following only the current 5 members later.. Woohyun unfollowed 3/4 of people aside from Hoya.. Myungsoo just unfollowed everyone and kept it at 0.. I don't think they were trying to create some drama and probably didn't expect fans to be monitoring every single move (which they shouldn't tbh)..

I guess it isn't.it is just that out of all the kpop groups I love and support, infinite and shinee are the ones I never expected to do something like this.I was just a lit disappointed, but you are right, anyone can have social media fights/drama irrespective of gender. In my experience drama isn't a gendered thing... I remember the fights in the boys' clubs in my university. And look at the unfollowing drama that marked the end of Taehyun leaving Winner. But yes, I did not expect this of infinite either. I will continue supporting them all naturally, but it hurts a bit.

Honestly am kinda embarrassed, when 4minute unfollowing drama happened,I was like, well we girls tend to be that way.But with mature boys like infinite, I didn't expect such dramatic thing.Gyu even had to dramatically unfollow everyone just so he can unfollow his ex member,he could have just gone ahead and unfollwed him directly, and then others doing it too like it was planned made it that much embarrassing and dramatic.I always believed ot7 won't end on a dramatic note, maybe I was wrong.I love all the boys, but this was just how I felt.I know that most times we fans don't know all the back story, but for some reason i have always hated social media drama. If for aome reaaon things didnt end well with them, they can cut him off from their life without bringing the drama out to fans and nonfans alike. This will really make all those people who always go"infinite are not really close but all act close on camera"have a field day.Anyway this is just my opinion, I guess in the end what they want to do or how dramtically they want to move on is up to them.I will keep supporting ot6 and hoya separately

Sorry guys,I think I wouldn't be able to stop posting about HOYA here for a while,I just can't accept reality yet.How exactly do you move on from someone you loved for seven years in 3 weeks?
-
for some reason, your post hurt my feelings in ways I can't explain, and he wasn't even in my top 3 infinite bias list.Hey guys,
Umm I don’t mean to be a spoil sport or anything but dont you guys think that this thread should for INFINITE only? I know you guys love Hoya, we all do. But it’s a fact that he’s no longer part of Infinite. And this is the official Infinite thread. So I think out of courtesy, you should shift all the Howon updates to his thread. Those who want to, can follow that thread and contnue supporting him. And over here, we can all continue to fangirl on ot6.
I think by still associating him with Infinite, we are sort of disrespecting his decision. He left Infinite not to be still called as Infinite’s Hoya. He left to be an artist on his own. I hope you can all respect that. Also, there are some Inspirits that have stopped supporting Hoya, it would be inconvenient for them to find his updates on the Official Infinite thread. Keeping all this in mind, I hope you guys will consider what you post here next.
On the other hand, Infinite totally rocked the stage today and I’m an emotional wreck. Ok bye.

Can't wait for infinite comback
-
He left after his contract expired,I don't see the betrayal there.if he stays in infinite when he has other things on his mind which he can't do in woollim, the same people calling him a betrayer would still drag him for putting his own business before infinite, so he did the honorable thing to close his infinite chapter on a good note before going off to do his own thing.Honestly him leaving to follow what is in his heart is better than we having that hyunseung vs beast fans insident where fans literally had to ask the agency to kick him out because they felt he was no longer interested in beast.the "hoya is a betrayer" comments have started coming on instagram

sorry,I was trying to upvote your post and ending up down voting it by mistake.sorry dearTo be entirely brutal about this (and to be quite honest I am speaking from a bleeding cut) Dongwoo is not popular because people don't find him attractive and think he is odd. At first Dongwoo and Hoya got equal time in Infinite songs but as Hoya gained more attention he ended up more in the spotlight. it pains me very much, but there are plenty of so-called Inspirits whom I have seen slamming Dongwoo. it's really not surprising to me that he gets so little attention, much as I believe him to be both talented and beautiful to my taste. But I do not make the kpop beauty and personality standard.
Hoya has a terrible family. His father has candidly admitted to beating him with a baseball bat. He pursued his dreams in spite of it and I admire him for it. Ambition is bad when it crushes or ruins other people. But at the present state of information available to us in what Hoya has done I see only courage and love for his art.

You almost made it sound like having ambition is a problem. The way I see it,lack of ambition is the problem. You only live your life once,if you are where you are not getting what you want or you find out that where you are won't help your career choice in the long run,the smartest thing to do is to go look for what you want else where, even if you don't find what you want in the end,at least you dared.Honestly people have been saying shit like hoya left because he has too much ambition blah blah blah.Do they think some fans are not low key disappointed that song jong and sungyeol stayed when they barely get promoted outside of ot7 activities,do we then applaud their lack of ambition just because it favours us fans?.Even though sometimes i feel like my bias will be better promoted in another company, but I acknowledge that with the current way he is being promoted, when infinite retires(as they will someday), he will still be relevant enough to at least go into acting, sungkyu might end up like heechul doing mc work, what about those members that were not properly promoted in infinite,do they retire and disappear? Or will anyone still care about them enough to get them on TV?for the ones who act, will they still be able to land roles when the are older since they didn't get the opportunity to show all they got as actors while they were still active idols?.Idols are humans who have a responsibility like everyone else to plan for their future,so what hoya did is admirable since almost 80% of inspirit acknowledge that infinite members where not well promoted. But in the end I understood that what hoya did is scary and takes a lot of guts and its not a decision you impose on someone just because you wish better things for them, so I will respect their decision and still support them as I will hoya. And regarding the part of your post about dongwoo, hoya might have left, but woollim still has 6 members to promote, are you really sure with hoya leaving, they would be nicer to dongwoo?when the had 7 members, they where barely able to promote like 3 member averagely,so now that they have 6 are we confident that no member would be left out again?.Honestly both the one who left and the ones who stayed all made brave decisions the way I see it,so I get angry when I see posts judging or targeting hoya for leavingI almost forgot about this.
I'm not speaking about anything of a member "relishing" his leaving or what the loss of Hoya is or not. None of that was mentioned or implied. I'm looking at aspects now that the group is realistically OT6 and how the dynamic will change in the future. That was the point of my post. Dongwoo was definitely overshadowed in terms of dancing, as most supporters/sidekicks are. He barely got to show his talent, and every time there was a point dance needed to be presented in interviews, 99% of the time Hoya always did them. Dongwoo as a person is very selfless and doesn't ache for attention, so this probably did not bother him. Yet I even saw someone ask who will be INFINITE's main dancer now that Hoya left and I'm like..."???". Whether or not he likes the idea of how things occurred for him to be in that position, the reality is he needs a good amount of focus that has been missing for a long time. Especially now that INFINITE are running on seven years. He's been pretty low on popularity and, well, promotion.
Hoya's ambition had him drop from school and leave his family because they did not support him. He has a track record of moving on if it does not benefit him any longer to pursue what he needs to/wants to do. I'm not painting him in a bad light, that's the way he is as a person. It's just too much ambition can lead to risky choices. I'm not sure what his plans are now, but I'm pretty sure he won't be quitting dancing at least. His reasons for leaving will be confirmed later once he becomes more professionally active again. I'm uncertain about his ultimate decision to leave the group though and how things will go for him after, as I would with most of the members. Good on you to continue supporting him.

Can't wait for infinite's schedule

OK,am gonna be honest, a tiny part of me wished for infinite to pull a beast, but now they are telling me the resigned for another 7 year!?.Hope that is not true, but of it is,I hope woollim promised to treat them better and hope some of the boys don't end up regretting. But it might not be true though,no group has resigned for that long, even apink just resigned for 3 yrsAnother 7 years with woollim... Tell me that's not true please

Love how everyone thought it was Woohyun but in the end it was Hoya :/ I feel bad for Woohyun and all the evil messages he had gotten :( the people should feel ashamed
