It normally annoys me when they scream but this was just beyond inappropriate. Is it that hard to control yourself omg. It seemed to me that a lot of people looked quite uncomfortable, even b*s seemed uncomfortable with the screams. If I was them I'd honestly be embarrassed by the way they acted. Why on earth would they think that their bias would be happy hearing screams during a such a speech? But iu honestly, her speeches have always been incredible. I love how she's used them to show support and give advice to her fellow artists. As someone who's now in her 10th year and has gone through so much I'm sure she knows so well what they're going through. And I'm sure a lot of people found comfort in her words. iu really does never cease to amaze me <3 so so proud

Just popping in to say happy birthday to seunghoon!!! As he's my winner bias he has a special place in my heart. I hope this year he gets lots of positive attention and love cos he deserves it! Although 2017 has been a really great year for winner it's sad that we haven't had any individual activities from seunghoon :( So I hope he gets to shine on some variety shows this year.

Aah I was livestreaming and the shock I got when winner came and joined them. NJTTW team are so lovely inviting winner to join them and giving them 3 (?) hours to enjoy themselves. So so sweeet p.s. my korean is not advanced by I swear when winner were doing their mock radio broadcast and seungyoon introduced the 'guest' seunghoon was saying 'is it going to be iu?' I love it when my 2 main biases have little interactions like this hehe

I know, I personally think today's schedule wasn't necessary and she should've taken some time off. But maybe that was iu's decision, I feel like she might've wanted distractions or she thought she could cope through it. I can see why meaning of you made her break down. Yess I also love how we got to see iu sitting with other female soloists. Especially knowing iu is such a supporter of them cos she knows how hard it is being one. I'm glad we're seeing more female soloists doing well. Also seeing female celebs fangirling over her is adorableee

Aw I think if it's really getting to you I don't think there's anything wrong with taking a step back. Unfortunately winner isn't the easiest group to stan and it's sad because funnily enough they're also, at the same time, the easiest because of how great their music is, how great they are and just how lovely they are as a group. It's sad that outside factors start impacting how you enjoy the experience. But I do feel like the kpop industry is toxic. From things like scandals to ridiculous witch hunts it's not easy being a fan in kpop. Especially when you know your faves are at a disadvantage to those who have more power. Although today's been a setback it really is nothing compared to the positives and achievements of this year. No matter who tries to take it from them they achieved so so much using their own power and that's something certain other people can't say. If I was in their position I'd be happier to be in a position that I know I deserve rather than something that has essentially been 'bought'. I just read somewhere that iu has only had 4 daesangs throughout her entire career despite everyone knowing that she's one of the top artists in the industry throughout a large chunk of her career. It shows how corrupt and how the system is skewed to essentially those with power and fandoms. And it shows how sometimes these awards are meaningless. So in the end I don't think today takes anything away from their achievements. So don't feel too down about it all! But if it's really getting to you there's 100% nothing wrong with taking time away. Tbh I'm also super sick of the way things work in kpop but I suppose I'm just used to it now.

Hmm personally I don't agree with that. I don't think yg fandom wars have anything to do with them not winning awards. And I mean if you wanted to look at who started those fandom wars it leads back to yg and win. Even if they weren't fighting I don't think fandoms being united would do much either. It's more focused on the size of winner's fandom itself I think, not others. I think yg is a massive factor in general because he completely under utilised them. When we had a stronger fandom he didn't try and grow it. Instead a massive long hiatus, and continued focus on japan made it difficult to stan winner honestly. Heck even in 2016 I struggled keeping up with winner because it just felt so depressing seeing them in their long hiatuses. That's not something that stanning a group should feel like. Additionally, a lot of 2017's achievements are based on the members themselves. Mino with NJTTW and WOF, Yoon with his drama, and him composing their hit song, hoon continously making effort to reach out to fans and holding onto them during breaks between activities and jinwoo with WON. And I'm still so sad hoon is under utilised in terms of variety, he's literally variety gold. Ofc it's not like yg's done nothing for them. But it's really the members I think that have brought them here and much less due to yg. Which is shame as they come from a company that is from the big3 and that should've honestly given them much more privileges than they have now.

I am so done as well. I mean just look at iu. Her sales are ridiculous and you literally could not ask more from her in terms of what she's done this year. And yet the awards goes to those bgs with big fandoms. If it wasn't for the public's super strong support for her I bet they would've tried to give someone else the album of the year award too. Eurgh I hate how these awards are so dependent on fandoms and how they cater towards them. You could see how much they favoured them with how many songs they performed etc. It's the sad bitter truth that they're not going to get these awards easily without a massive fandom supporting them. Eurgh is it that hard for an award show to award people who actually deserve it.
