I honestly didn't know it was this bad. I haven't felt bad for them since the Without U comeback when half the group was out of commission at any given time. Chansung in the hospital with gastroenteritis, Wooyoung unable to sing due to vocal cord nodules, Minjun with a knee injury hopping around on crutches. THAT shit was bad, anxiety inducing bad. Everything since that time has seemed like a walk in the park lol But I can see that you get it and thank you. The difference between you and me is I'm not ranking the importance of these things to them because I'm not in their heads. I'm simply talking about one aspect of their careers. I'm not claiming something makes up for or takes precedence over the other.

I'll back off after this post because I like this thread and I tend to agree with you more often than not. I don't want to turn this thread into a war zone especially not prematurely. There are different standards for solo success in Korea and Japan. It blows my mind how people can think Korean idols wouldn't want to be as successful on their home turf as they are in Japan. Why wouldn't they want to win on the same stage, the same platform they debuted on? When nugus and rookies win more often than our oppars it's completely natural to wonder what the formula for success is. Timing is everything in kpop.

Don't worry, I don't think you're a "troll" for putting this into perspective. It does no good to have your head in the sand or be in your little "hottest bubble" - you're looking at the big picture here. No doubt 2PM themselves and the company are doing the same thing. Also I don't understand those fans who belittle the feelings and the effort the members put into their work. They are humans with ambitions. It feels good to win. It feels good to be rewarded. You only think of your personal gratification when you say "they're coming back, that's all that matters." Think of how disheartening it is when the reception falls short of their dreams and expectations. It's ok to feel disappointment with the response. Don't act all coy about rooting for them and wanting them to be recognized.
