NOT a mention of 2pm in the articles she translated and the ones she did are not super encouraging. not that i'm all that concerned but i'm honestly just curious about the reception to the 2pm/seo taiji stage and 2pm going all out for go crazy. is it possible not even 2pm could imbue a little sunshine and hope into the bleak lives of korean netizens?

going back on what i said, we might be a smaller fandom than suju's and snsd's (but not t-ara's lol bye) but we have some amazingly hard-working and dedicated people who with their determination make up for what we lack in numbers. if we were bigger, we'd be more complacent and... lazy. it's uplifting seeing people in the fandom come together and work towards the same goal. i'm so thankful to them. as a matter of preference, i like the original mv better than the party ver and while i watched the latter once, when the first go crazy mv came out i was glued to the screen. i've probably watched it upwards of 30, idk, 50 times. actually, glued-to-the-screen watched it. i'm also eternally grateful to minjun for being the mastermind behind this comeback. at the end of the day, it is the digital score i.e., the public vote and opinion (my condolences to t-ara) that determines the outcome. we can't say we didn't do our best.

no worries. it was an interesting question about what makes the public tick and how the industry works. i do think it's too early in the comeback to tell. i mean in a matter of hours, 2pm jumped from #42 to #9 on melon. people are waking up and hopefully they will wake up to 2pm ^__^

i don't know what 2pm HAS to do to be recognized musically. it's obviously not about the genre or the composer. they are not unknown. hands up did better with the public than go crazy and that baffles me completely. go crazy is a lot more complex and interesting. the kpop market is that much more saturated than it was in 2011. i want them to do well, i don't want it all to be due to the effort of us the fans. we can only do so much. it's frustrating. yes, i care about what others think when it comes to 2pm. they are idols, celebrities, being famous is a major part of the job. brushing off public opinion is stupid. they've also said they want to get #1 (on melon i assume). a lot of things in kpop are distorted and exaggerated. bulkbuys, streaming. why do i as a fan have to buy 20 copies for my oppars to do well because somebody else bought 10 copies of their unnirs album? why do i have to leave the music video on repeat all night when watching it 5 times has satisfied my curiosity? maybe i'm a bad fan because i refuse to partake in this aspect of the fandom. it's like having to do 5 times the work of another fandom because we're 5 times as small. fandom shouldn't matter, quality should. i think 2pm is high quality, i think they work hard. i want their efforts to pay off. i don't want their success to seem more than it really is because some of us streamed the mv all night. i want an accurate representation of how well they are doing but in kpop it's almost impossible. anyway, i hope it's too early to judge and they will go all out with this promotion and slay the competition because ffs they have earned this much. the tl;dr version ty Brian!

oop @ me being late hmm well back in 2010 junho had this sexy, curvy body - a perky ass with an itty bitty waist and that alone set him apart from the twinky kpop males, not to mention provided a nice contrast to his fellow beastly members or those members gifted with lean muscle. hobutt was NOTORIOUS back then, bigger than life. i'm not denying its existence now but they don't wear clothing that's as tight-fitting these days. also at that time junho had only begun coming into his own. he was no longer the same junho as the junho that was in the 7-member 2pm. he started to take control. the silent judgment took a backseat to his sassiness. he probably realized he likes to tell people what to do even if they don't listen to him. over the years the reasons to stan him have only piled up. his charitableness, his energy, his determination, his ability to be embarrassing, his affection towards members, his solo prowess. i find him very relatable as well and i think that's why i'm guilty of thinking of him as a girl sometimes. tl;dr i'm shallow, i'm just lucky he happens to be a lovely person none. he's flawless. ok, fine. his insecurity BUT i think it allows him to stay humble. but he also tends to overthink, overdo, overcompensate or at other times hold back. he's not completely at ease.
