  1. Mark's sister replied to a fan's curiosity about whether Mark did surgery and she says he's all natural. I don't think family members will out-rightly confirm it like this if Mark had ever did plastic surgery, especially when you have Mark's family so out in the open like this.
  2. I just watched the Final! And I'm so impressed by Dongmin's play, especially the second game. I didn't expect him to excel in it when Kyunghoon is good at Mathematics. I definitely wanna see Hyunmin play this game with him though. I was trying my best to play along to the second game but it was so difficult. It’s amusing to see how the game went from being math- to just pure nonsensical patterns. I actually went WHOAAAAAAAA when Dongmin found out the trick to the “Kyunghoon-trying-to-screw-it-up-by-asking-for-billions†question. I can’t even see all of the numbers on the screen and yet this guy figured it out. When Kyunghoon used the SECRET on him and Dongmin still won that point, it was so amazing! One of Dongmin’s traits is definitely staying calm even when he’s losing. And it’s evident from Kyunghoon and Hyunmin (in S3) that panicking will do you no good. I don’t know how he can stay so calm in such a situation, especially that moment when he answered wrongly and gave Kyunghoon another chance to catch up. Kudos to Kyunghoon and Dongmin for not giving up the game till the very end despite knowing who is the winner. One is perseverant and the other is not complacent. One thing that annoys me is the filler in the beginning. I think it’s because the Final wasn’t very long to begin with, only playing two games out of three and Dongmin finishing the game so quickly, so the staff had to fill in a lot of stuff for the episode. But it’s great to see everyone back on this episode. I missed Kyungran (who is torn between the two), Jinho who mocks at Hyunmin for being eliminated, Yeonseung who has “no more blankets†and YOOHYUNNNNNNN for being my eye candy once again. I agree that this season has the most balanced players. Everyone got along well with each other and definitely formed friendships, celebrities and ordinary people all come together and play the same game on a TV show. Once again, thanks everyone for being such a good sport in talking and discussing about the games. The whole TG experience is nothing without this thread and you guys!
  3. I can't believe it's the last episode. I will miss you guys here discussing about the games and spazzing about the players. It has been an enjoyable period for me who have been trying to find a variety show that suits my tastes. I'm feeling kinda emotional rn and I really wanna thank you all for being such active participants on the thread as it makes watching TG so much more fun and interactive. :')
  4. I know this is late but this is what Hyunmin tweeted before. [150829] (The night when the last episode of Show Me The Money season 4 was aired) #1 - “It would be great if they got a lot of praise after broadcast hehe (They’re both) Really cool~~~†#2 - “Most of the TV shows have competitive concepts but the participants are actually nice to each other in reality. No matter who you support, putting down your favourite’s opponent is a really ugly way to cheer for someone. I hope that everyone will love each other… hahah†#3 - “I like most of the participants and always look for the good in them. When I said I liked someone, I hope that people won’t base on the mistakes they made in the past so as to have a wrong look on my lifestyle.†#4 - “If you always judge people base on their past mistakes, then is there anyone in this world can be considered good in your eyes? I think my biggest strength is that I like people easily, but sometimes it may be my weakness. Each time like that I feel a little bittersweet.†I know the thread has become better now without the unnecessary tension but still good to keep this in mind.
  5. Hey guys just saw this news! 'The Genius' Oh Hyunmin signs under a company for broadcast promotions Article: 'Genius' Oh Hyun Min signs under the same company as Joo Young Hoon and Seo Yuri... "will pursue both studies and broadcast" Source: TV Report via Naver 1. [+471, -29] It's his choice, why do people care ã…‹ã…‹ 2. [+422, -53] It's good news for me because I like Oh Hyunmin so much ã… ã… He's too good to be a non-celebrity. I want to see him on variety shows with Jang Dong Min. JangOh line ã… ã… 3. [+417, -48] Hyunmin is cute ã…‹ã…‹ I'm a Kong stan but I'm cheering for him 4. [+360, -27] I'll anticipate for his broadcast promotions~ It'll be funny if he appears on Problematic Man or Crime Scene. 5. [+278, -96] Oh~ But please prioritize your studies! 6. [+95, -3] He's trying everything because he's young ã…‹ã…‹ He throws a lot of jokes on The Genius, of course he wants to have broadcast promotions ã…‹ã…‹ Work hard. 7. [+69, -7] Hyunmin has a likable face, he's smart, and he's good on broadcast. He's witty! 8. [+53, -2] See you on I'm Going To School 9. [+47, -1] He has a good chemistry with Jang Dong Min. I want to see them on I'm Going To School or Crime Scene 3 together ã…‹ã…‹ It'll be better if he's with someone that he's familiar with. Both of them match so well ã…‹ã…‹ 10. [+61, -15] I know it's not my business but his smart brain is too good to be wasted for broadcast. http://kpopkfans.blogspot.ca/2015/09/the-genius-oh-hyunmin-signs-under.html I'm so happy to hear this!!! I was just saying in my previous post that he would be good for TV but with his brains, I rather him expanding his career onto something better. I'm all for him going broadcasting like how the other Abnormal Summit members do it (having a regular job but doing this as a part time sort of thing). His reactions, witty comments and looks are definitely plus points in the entertainment showbiz world so I'm glad he has another alternative for his future! Can someone sign him up for Crime Scene already? Looking at how he is so good at hiding at being a leader, I think he would disguise himself as a murderer pretty well. And his deduction skills are not bad too. Or... he would be another Kong... with useless deductions haha!
  6. I finally watched the whole episode after reading the spoiler of who's gonna be eliminated. I was so proud of Hyunmin and his partner for agreeing to take the risk and call when they realized Jinho is going all-in. Some may say it's luck or because he manipulated KH's partner in helping him to choose the right community card. But you cannot deny he tried to make deals when the time is right. He took the initiative to control the game even when he doesn't have the power to choose the card and it was KH's partner's loss for not realizing that (tbh I felt bad for him lol). He definitely redeemed himself from being a rat in episode 9. But Jinho though, I feel so miserable seeing him resorting to seeing KH's card for the fun of it because he was unable to play the game anymore after losing all his garnets. I don't criticize his decision for going all-in, considering he was already losing from the start and he wanted to do something and turn things around. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on his side and Hyunmin's partner was quick and daring enough to catch on and call. The DM was so intense because the winning streak can be on either side and I was cheering as if I was watching a soccer match that my mum thought I was crazy. Even though he hasn't shown much this season, Jinho will always be the icon for The Genius no matter what people say. He was one of the first to be exposed to this kind of variety show and everything was fresh and new. I remember the first episode, no one knew what to do and what the concept was really like. Because of Season 1, Season 2 and 3 are established with players who knew what they signed up for and gradually became better than Season 1. His speech made me teared a little because we probably won't see him again on TG but will always remember how this variety show has shaped his career completely from a programmer to a broadcaster. He isn't my favourite player in S4 but he is my favourite member with the cutest and most genuine personality of all time. I will miss your stuttering and mukbang, Jinho!
  7. At this point, every single combination of the two finalists didn't seem satisfying for me. Hyunmin vs Kyunghoon: Hyunmin hasn't shown great plays like S3 and having them to compete seems a little weak for a final. Hyunmin vs Dongmin: Dejavu from S3 and might be a little boring seeing the same finalists again. Kyunghoon vs Dongmin: I'm all for people who hasn't never won before to win S4 but having Kyunghoon to win Dongmin is kinda disappointing, especially when Dongmin has shown consistent and wow moments. Then again, I don't want a past winner to win again lol (I'm weird sorry). I love all of the top 4 players. But I don't have a player that I genuinely support to win the whole season for some reason. I remember rooting for Jinho and Sunggyu so bad to win in S1. Didn't watch S2. I also rooted so much for Hyunmin to win. For S4, my mentality is just... "Oh well, whoever wins, I'm happy for them."
  8. Favourite moments from the intro in 409 - The trios' CHINGUYA, NOONA YA, OMMA YA moment - Ahyoung asking Kyunghoon why is he still here - Sangmin's entrance - Hyunmin's new red hair + Junseok's questionable new hair (ugh kim soohyun from Producer inspired?) - Jinho and Dongmin willingly opened up to their weaknesses in earlier episodes - Kyunghoon can't give a damn about fashion and wore a poly tee - Jinho's super tight clothes (which didn't deter him away from mukbang) Basically everything about the intro. I think S4 has one of the best intros around, maybe because everyone is used to broadcasting.
  9. I feel like Hyunmin didn't really know what how to proceed with this game and somehow reminds me of Jungmoon trying to help out both sides (the difference being Jungmoon is a spy for both sides). His obsession with the token is high this week (which was quite annoying tbh), maybe because he has seen how strong the players are in DM so he didn't want to risk losing out the token/win at all. Props for Dongmin who could sense that Hyunmin was not trying to really work with him and noticed that he tried to change side when things weren't going smoothly for him. I don't know how he can judge people so well in that stressful situation but he takes the title from Sangmin for reading people's minds. I'm glad Sangmin didn't get fooled by Kyunghoon again (that fake hug was hilarious) and Ahyoung also didn't give in to him. It feels like both of them got the revenge that they deserved - threw him in the DM but he still won anyway. Dohee got my attention for being so adorable but other than that, he and Jeongbum was pretty much invisible. I bet Poong will be, if he never got into an alliance with Ahyoung and Sangmin. As for Jinho, even though he wasn't in the limelight, it showed that he was 100% placing his trust in Dongmin and working together to come up with the strategy. He has stepped up from beginning episodes and hopefully, will do even better in future episodes... if there is individual play (come on).
  10. Omg this is what I miss in TG! We used to have Sunggyu and Ahyoung who brought in the mood amongst the serious gameplay. Of course we still have Dongmin but most of the time, he's very serious in games. It kept me wondering how many times the dealer actually screwed up her lines and taking notes of the game process (especially the races omg).
  11. Not relating to Episode 9: Man, I love you, Jinho and Hyunmin but... Why do I feel like you both have changed since S1 and S3 respectively? It doesn't feel like the same person is playing in S4. I miss the underdog that rebelled against Kim Gura and the hamster that acted so well as the leader. I think the pressure coming from the audience has caused them to play in a different way. But I still love both of you. I think that's the beauty of watching new players every season. You don't know anything about them and become fascinated at their skills for the first time. When you have known what the players are capable of, you start to have high expectations. When there is high expectation, there's bound to be high disappointment. Not saying that both of them played badly, but sometimes expectations from audience like me wished for something more because we developed feelings for these players and genuinely want them to do well. Unlike KH who didn't play well in S3, we didn't have expectations of him at all so when he started playing better in S4, many people are amazed at his hidden or improved skills, making him a star in S4. ifyougetwhatimean
  12. The Genius is just part of their schedule so I understand that behind all these drama, there is no hard feelings between the cast. At first when I started watching The Genius, I wondered whether these players really dislike each other after filming but after seeing the BTS, it enlightened me that these players actually became friends rather than competitors when they have finished filming. It's so endearing!
  13. I have to admit I have a soft spot for Hyunmin because he's so young yet extremely smart and full of wit. But then you can see how vulnerable he is when facing the "real world" because he's still a student. As he's familiar with calculations, he believes that winning is all about finding the solutions and working them out. You know he has the potential to win it but lacks the 2% as compared to experienced people who are older. Seeing his improvement along the episodes is definitely what keeps me rooting for him. However, I find his tactics in S4 very different from S3. Either there are so many strong candidates in the All Star Season or he has mellowed down a lot to avoid being too overconfident (especially after that last place that ended him in DM). I can't find any wow moments of Hyunmin except him being all over place trying to work with e v e r y o n e. I haven't watched episode 9 so I have no idea what he is like but I saw snippets of him being... I don't see him winning this season at all but I'll be rooting for him as a supporter when it comes to his studies and future endeavours!
  14. Hi guys, don't know if you are aware but there's a thread that asks which group has members who are really close and I think GOT7 is mentioned alot. I also listed down the receipts/evidences. http://onehallyu.com/topic/213599-kpop-groups-that-are-genuinely-close-togethernot-fake/?p=9697016
  15. It's so strange for him to bring his CEO. It's awkward to "order" him to do anything or follow instructions because technically, he is still your boss/superior. Like all variety shows, being in every episode brings in appearance fee. It's ironic how his own boss made him lose in the episode so Sunggyu stopped coming to TG, resulting in not earning anymore appearance for the company lol.
  16. Not a spoiler for episode 9 but more of Junseok and Yeonseung's alliance. They could have kept their alliance a secret and use it for another episode but Junseok and Yeonseung JUST HAD TO HIGH FIVE at that critical moment lol. But I were them, I'll be happy and hug my ally too hahaha. For the immunity, I would have come up with a random reason like, "Oh I have no one in particular to give so I give it to Junseok."
  17. I'm still laughing at how Yeonseung is feeling sorry for KH for making a mistake without knowing he's the spy. Note: The quote above has a spoiler but mine doesn't give out anything. Most likely Thursday! Or Friday.
  18. That is something that I have thought of! Actually I would like to see something similar in Japan since they started Liar Game first. And I have watched Japanese detective shows and they're so amazingly good and I feel that they can transfer the creativity from drama to variety shows like TG. OMG if it really happens, I will definitely watch it as well.
