    My theory is that everyone was taken off guard when it happened - since only the dancers were on stage and it was sandwiched between PYN and Door, I'm thinking people recording thought it was a natural break time and only realized they might want to record it after most of it had already passed.

    I know he probably made that up on the spot (maybe un/consciously referencing his mv) but he should be careful. You don't want sasaengs trying to knock him over hoping he'll fall for them!

    I didn't say that they have no say; I meant that the direction the release should take - musical and promotionwise - is coming from UMJ. SM is not A&Ring Taemin's music in Japan, nor are they dealing with Japanese accounts in terms of store promotions or deciding how many copies of what versions to manufacture, nor are they coordinating press opportunities. For what it's worth, I used to work for the first U.S. distributor of Avex in the 1990s, and that was a different kind of relationship - one where we were licensed to sell Avex artists' releases in the States, to try and get them media, airplay and club play, but we had nothing to do with the artist roster, song selection, or tour decisions.

    You have to give UMJ the credit for whatever is happening in Japan tho' vs. SM. They're the ones in charge of song selection, sales and marketing, the multiple release versions, tie-ins like Line, etc.

    At first I thought it had no hook, and then I realized the whole chorus was stuck in my head! Really beautiful ballad, and I like that so much of it is in his range so that he doesn't have to go into falsetto, especially if he is going to do ambitious choreo while singing. I'm sure his hair will be blue because of the flame in the MV and I'm envisioning it'll be more modern dance like Sayonara was - let's see!

    It was crazy. They were on a platform it much higher than the floor and the store employees had no clue about fansites, DSLRs and portable footstools. Most ppl couldn't see but they were going pretty hard for 10am on the day they were going home after a show last night!

    10am on a Sunday morning is brutal, but if there aren't other NYC locals here, I'll go and fancam if it's allowed, or mixlr audio stream if it isn't.
