There is no way any Korean scandal prevents Japanese tour dates -- or anything, for that matter. Think of the people with far worse scandals who still have a viable career over there. This will all be forgotten by the time Taemin's new stuff drops.

Wait, she was dancing on top of the table Jinki and his friends were drinking at? That doesn't excuse unwanted groping, but if accurate, it does paint a slightly different picture than that of someone out with a different group of people being intruded upon by a drunk guy randomly grabbing at a leg on his way down to the floor more than once.

I love that he's wearing a Bauhaus t-shirt! Should have known he'd visit Dover Street Market since there are peaceminusone items for sale there - hats, pants, bags and shirts. Wonder why that wasn't publicized like the pmo pop-up store?

Usually how these things work is that SM would have been paid upfront to create content, and the parent company of the V-Live portal reaps the benefits of the subscriber fees plus eyeballs on any ad revenue.

If Billboard they are using Soundscan figures, which means no fiddling about with sales numbers (strictly based on bar codes scanned at Soundscan reporting stores at the cashier) so other measurements surely will be higher.

I will bet you it is all behind the scenes of him preparing for the album in Japan and the dorm in Japan so that you won't see his family in Korea or him hanging out with friends. If they do materialize, it will be backstage in Japan. Just a hunch.

Because you always record more songs for an album than you will actually use. Sometimes the ones that don't make it end up as B-sides to a single or vendor exclusive tracks or never see the light of day. All albums have a budget for their creation that includes line items like studio time, additional musicians that perform on the track and the publishing splits for the tracks, which is not just paying for licensing the songs in the first place but also the cost of the royalties the songwriters will receive for all the copies sold of the album on which the song appears. Sometimes when the album is tentatively sequenced by the creatives involved, finance comes back and says what is proposed will run over budget and then someone higher up at UMJ has to decide if the song is so good that it is worth it. Other reasons, like it doesn't "fit" conceptually with the other tracks, usually are reasons a song gets knocked out of consideration earlier in the process than now.

Usually it has to do with working out the publishing royalties - the song might be too expensive to include on the release.

FINALLY! Everything is on point there! He is such a compelling performer in total command of that sudience. I wonder why dancers were thought necessary for that number. Is it for the guys who were dragged to the show by a girlfriend, because I can't imagine why anyone's eyes would be on anybody else but Jjong. LOOK AT HIM!

Having just been to look, I would also add DO NOT POST A NEW COMMENT MENTIONING THE NEGATIVE COMMENT IN THE FIRST SENTENCE. Thumb down the troll and post a new positive comment that completely ignores the troll(s). I see several people have posted a "OMG why all the hate for Jjong!" type comment, which is sadly all most people will see because of how YT will truncate longer comments. Though well-meant, this serves to amplify the bashing rather than drowning it out.

I'm not ready for JjongD dropping the beat OR Taemin's thigh-stroking body rolls! Key is amazing. As a former punk rock kid I keep wondering why SHINee sometimes ends up in 1977-era Vivienne Westwood style plaid, mohair sweaters, bondage pants, safety-pinned clothes and harnesses and I'm sure it's all Key. Saint Laurent has had a "rocker" leather/studded boot/slim body/leopard print look for several seasons, but Balenciaga is a little more varied. The same company owns Gucci & Balenciaga, so if SHINee's stylists already have an "in" maybe Key gets some freebies or discounts.

Interesting. Walmarts are usually sent music on CD from their home offices, and many in the U.S. don't play music at all because they don't want to pay the licensing fees.

See, this is why I'm not fully sold on the narrative of the eeevil agency/promoter being stupid by booking him into the smaller venue. Obviously they want to be able to have sellouts and they don't want a too-large venue that is costlier to book, carries more insurance and might have empty seats. The optimal venue is already booked by Taeyang and the timing of Taem's Korean concert is obviously set to coincide with a domestic release of FOL in Korean or something as yet unknown, so it's not like they can schedule it just any old time when the larger venue is available. The compromise would be to have several shows in the smaller venue to accommodate demand, but there you are up against the other artists who are also on a live promotion/release schedule who will be performing there, plus Taem's other commitments and stamina in doing multiple shows.

Maybe the larger venues were already booked for the dates they had available? It happens.

The second thing has nothing to do with Taemin's Korean solo concert. It looks like one of the Japanese promotions Taemin's doing and the girl is hosting it. Maybe she was at the concert and has some behind the scenes interview footage or something that will air.
