I'm not sure. E-girls song is like a cover to YMO's Rydeen from back in the 80's. But from what I read, YMO initially named it after Raiden Tameemon (sumo wrestler), but then went with ライディーン from Brave Raideen (anime) The camera focused on her quite a lot too. Not that I'm complaining

Yeah, release event schedule. First column Team Okan, 2nd col Team Kinpatsu (zombie), 3rd col Team Oko For those who don't know already, Okan is Aya, Kinpatsu is Ami, Zombie is Erie, Oko is Shizuka. And they go in their respective groups to different places. They all go to Saitama, Osaka and Aichi. But Team Okan also goes to Gunma, Kinpatsu to Tokyo and Oko to Kyoto. Edit: ninja'd kbye

Awesome! I wish I could go, the dates don't seem so good for me though. I hope they add more venues. Perhaps late August in Sapporo or Fukuoka. I'm gonna try and apply for the Nippon Gaishi one anyway.

They had to put the watermark on Mio The interviewer asked about their sad love story. During middle school, Mio confessed to someone and apparently that person kinda rejected her. But after she moved on with her life in Tokyo, she told the story to an old friend and that friend heard that it wasn't a rejection. Lol so Mio's a bit sad then that she didn't pursue it hard enough. Reina, on the other hand, the feeling was mutual but then suddenly the person said he likes someone else. After that the guy dated her friend. It was really painful that she wanted to give up on love but she's fine now. But from that experience, she can somehow put that sort of emotion into Flower's songs.

I like the Diamond Only photos. But is it just me or did they accidentally place Inagaki's photo on Miochin's on e-girls mobile diary...

Those are my subs. I don't mind it being on streaming sites. But if you guys have time, download the softsubs too on d'addicts. Seeing the download number can be a good motivation for me

Why would they make her sing? Can she sing? She could do variety shows. She's not afraid to make fun of herself.

Koibumi Biyori, of course. Kuroneko, tokidoki hanaya. Now I'm starting to watch Boku no ita jikan too.
-
Doesn't work that way with Happiness' Happy talk radio though. It's usually K&K. I would love to listen to Shuuka hosting. Her voice is like a lullaby that puts me to sleep(in a good way). It's soothing...

Just watched the 3rd episode of Koibumi Biyori. I don't think playing a blind character is easy, Anna could've done better but it's not bad. And heck, I was too engrossed by her prettiness as she smiled and embraced the letter, that I forgot to listen to the dialogue. I'm thinking the same thing as the male character, "I wanna be that letter!". And Shizuka's "Simple is best" lol. I've never read the manga. I guess the whole series is going to be a guy liking a girl that he THINK he can't have. Oh yeah, hopefully the first subbed episode can be released by lunar new year. By the way, hardsubs or softsubs?

Mine is Taiyou to himawari. But somehow the part where Reina sings "Mirror mirror" in Shirayukihime gives me goosebumps, I think it's a close second. Why does E-girls movies on YT have to be uploaded in small parts... -_-

I may not be the best to answer this but here's what I think. It all depends on the situation. In English, it's easier to simply translate those words as "friend" even though there's subtle differences between them. It's good to look at the kanji to understand it better. Tomodachi (å‹é”) is the prevalent term to say "friend" Kaonajimi (é¡”ãªã˜ã¿) literally means someone whose face you're familiar with. Chijin (知人) is acquaintance, the kanji is made up from "to know" and "person" Yuujin (å‹äºº) is the formal version of tomodachi I've never heard of guu And shinyuu (親å‹) is used when talking about best friend

Apparently tenso hasn't sent my Shirayukihime copy yet... Hello. Yeah I'll see what I can do. The thing is, I don't want to debind the magazine, so the scans won't come out nice.

Happy new year everyone! Managed to get a copy of Gekkan EXILE (February) yesterday. It's an interview with Shuuka and Harumi. I will try to translate it, after I finish all the other translation I wanted to do.

RM45. There's also one learn to dance with E-girls book on the lifestyle shelf in the Japanese section.
-
I was at (my local) Kinokuniya today and saw that they have Gekkan EXILE on the shelf! It's only the December and January issue. I guess I should check again in a few weeks to see if they have the February one.

A drama? It's time to show off the skills they learned from their acting lessons. And maybe it's time to have an E-girls subbing team...
