Out of curiosity, are any of you using any software for studying? Im referring to flash card lietner-based software for studying ..well, everything. I used to use a software called Stackz, which was good but no longer being updated. Been trying to transition to Anki, but inputting info on the Anki cards is a bit of a pain in the a**.
FYI, I'm a self-learning using the Genki books (text + supplemental) as my main guide.
I agree, I'm lazy with adding cards to Anki too but I think you can download shared decks made by other people to use.
Memrise app is also good but I got quite annoyed that there were so many 外æ¥èªž in it.
Not really a software but I'm using Wanikani. It also uses the SRS method like Anki. But this is specifically for kanji and vocab. What I like about it is that you memorise by using the radicals and create stories (pretty much like Remembering the Kanji). You also have to type in your answer so it helps with memorisation. It's not free though but I think it's worth it.

What? People are saying the members aren't beautiful?Eunha in the "You're Beautiful" video just proves that GFRIEND problem is bad styling and outfits. Eunha looked so freaking pretty in the video!! I hope Source won't be broke for long. I don't want people to keep saying GF isn't beautiful, they really are. And members like Eunha are getting prettier and prettier.

I NEED HELP WITH THIS: my boyfriend always comes really fast, in like 5 minutes sometimes. I am too afraid yo say anything about his, too scared to hurt his ego. But honestly, i never finish T_T.
Maybe you could persuade him to do more foreplay before penetration, fingering or oral sex, if he can get you to orgasm once before going in.
We would usually do that and when I enter, my partner's already quite sensitive to stimulation and comes pretty quick.

I'm really starting to like Eunha. Her eyes...and cheeks

Anyway, I was reading the OP. In Eunha's profile, it says that one of her skills is "Rich people's doorbell"...what does that mean? Is it an impersonation or something?

I was contemplating on buying the CD because I haven't been following them for very long but whatever, I pressed the confirm order button anyway.
The MV looks very pretty, very summer-ish. Good thing is Eunha gets more lines, and she looks really gorgeous.
The first time I watched the comeback stage, I was not entirely impressed because I was remembering how energetic Glass Bead was, but then I got into it and I really enjoyed it. Everyone looked gorgeous, especially Eunha.
I like it when they do the little twist during the "tu su ru chowahae yo"
Those rankings look good

ã‚ã®ç•ªçµ„ã¯æ¶™ãŒå‡ºã‚‹ã»ã©é¢ç™½ã„。
What does this sentence mean? ã»ã© makes me so confused.
Also, what should I be adding in here: 言ã„ãŸã„ã“ã¨ãŒ______ã»ã©ã‚ã£ãŸãŒã€æˆ‘æ…¢ã—ãŸã€‚
It literally means that the show is really funny to the extent that tears come out from your eyes.
ã»ã© in this context sort of means to that extent/that much.
And..I don't know what to fill in the blank. Maybe ãŸã¾ã‚‰ãªã„ would work? So it's like, "I really want to say it but I hold back".

Hello, how's everyone? I feel like I've been gone for so long

But really, it's great to see more people posting here, and on the E-girls thread. Flower has really gained more fans since TTH.
Speaking of their releases thus far, I really like Sayonara Alice, for some reason, maybe because it's so sad and it's the first time they sang a song from a male-POV. Also, Jikan Ryokou is actually pretty good.
Talk at Music Japan:

Flower talk part:
Situation: 妿 ¡ã®å¸°ã‚Šé“ 公園ã®ãƒ™ãƒ³ãƒã§ã‚µãƒƒã‚«ä¸€éƒ¨ã®ã‚¯ãƒ©ã‚¹ãƒ¡ä¸€åœã‹ã€€è©¦åˆã«è² ã‘ã¦è½ã¡è¾¼ã‚“ã§ã„ã‚‹ å½¼ã«åбã¾ã—ã®ä¸€ç›²
Reina: ããŽã‚ƒã‚“è½ã¡è¾¼ã¾ã‚“ã§ã‚‚次ãŒã‚ã‚‹ã£ã¡ã‚ƒã‘ん ãŒã‚“ã°ã‚Šä¸€ã‚ˆ!
My terrible Japanese translation:
Situation: Back in school, when you see your classmate sitting on the bench at the park, feeling so down after he just lost a soccer match, say something to cheer him up.
Reina: Don't let the sadness to follow you till the next game. Just do your best!
Kyushu dialects are quite unintelligible for me. But Reina made it sound so cute, it's the first time I hear her say something in Saga ben.

Hi! You'll enjoy learning Japanese. Regarding kanji, yes, you would have to learn it sometime. I suggest learning hiragana and katakana first, and then as you learn more words, you would gradually learn to read it in kanji. One of my goals is to learn a lot of languages and of course one of them is Japanese! So as a beginner I just wanted to ask if you all would suggest learning the Kanji first and then looking up meanings and stuff or is their waaaaay too many? Basically how should I start?
On an unrelated note: Does anyone know if there are other threads like this but for Korean and other languages? I gave it a search but maybe the title is different?

Can you recommend me some websites to practice reading in Japanese? (I am a beginner and only know a few kanji)
Well, you can try reading children's stories

Hehe I've also been rewriting it.. It's kinda sticking.
Are the games and stuff you find online effective? Rewriting can be really boring.
Definitely. You gotta constantly test yourself. Here's one site I used for the kana quizzes http://www.easyjapanese.org/index.html
Another thing that I did, and this might sound silly...is I would find lyrics of Japanese songs I like, convert it into hiragana (there are websites that can do that), play the song while singing along to the lyrics. It kinda forces me to read and remember the sounds.
-
Japanese characters are impossible imo.. Any tips for learning hiragana and katakana?
Lol they can be a pain at times, but not impossible. What method have you been using so far?
When I learned the kana, I would write it down so many times. I also printed a kana chart and paste it near my desk.

They didn't say. The MC said it's some bitter tea. The girls kept asking what they put in it, it's also kinda hot. So the MC just said "Don't know, maybe one of the staff's socks.." lolWhat is that green drink when they look so disgusted ? I think it's the same drink where Happiness was on NicoNico
Not sure if it's the same stuff Happiness drank because I haven't seen their show yet.

Starts @ 22:25
On a side note, I ship Shuuka and Reina together muahahaha

I knew I can count on you lol
Yeah, plus wasn't there a little ReinaxShuuka scene in Nettaigyo no namida?

Anyone know where to watch yesterday's nicolive?
I only managed to see a bit, they had to answer a question "If you're a guy, which member would you date?".
Apparently Kyoka likes Non, even though it's one-sided. Chiitan picked Harumi, because Harumi is always smiling. Shuuka picked Reina, iirc because Reina is hard to read. Reina and Miochin are always bickering. Shuuka said they argue when they're drunk lol, the girls tend to forget that it's a live broadcast.
After that, it was a bunch of polls.

When they entered the stage.
Kara: Everyone...!
Hara: What's this?
Kara: Thank you very much (for coming today)!
*bows*
Before they exit.
Hara: See you again. Bye bye. Thank you.
Gyuri: Good night.

what did Gyuri (the redhead)say at 9:49??
Is the time wrong? 9:49 is Nicole and she was speaking Korean.

Does anyone know a good place to start learning actual Japanese grammar? I'm in the process of learning the kana (still on hiragana), but I really want to be learning the kana and kanji as I progress through Japanese.
Taekim's grammar guide is quite good
http://www.guidetojapanese.org/learn/
Also, if you don't mind paying a bit, yesjapan.com is good for beginners. Iirc, you can use the 'progressive' option so that each lessons only show characters that have been taught in previous lessons.
Another site that I sometimes visit is http://www.learn-japanese-adventure.com/

I actually think having kanji helps a lot. It's easier to scan through a text that has kanji and get a gist of it than something with just kana.Lol i wish Japanese used only hangul or only hiragana
Thank you for the recommendation, i will try to find dramas like that

-
My first attempt to watch an NHK morning drama...Hanako to Anne.

I tried to transtale to spanish RYDEEN... anyone know what RYDEEN means?

I'm not sure. E-girls song is like a cover to YMO's Rydeen from back in the 80's. But from what I read, YMO initially named it after Raiden Tameemon (sumo wrestler), but then went with ライディーン from Brave Raideen (anime)
is it me or karen stole the show
my eyes were on her instinctively
The camera focused on her quite a lot too. Not that I'm complaining

-
Not sure if you guys have seen these before
I subbed it. I think most people here have seen it because I remember sharing it.
But if I didn't, here's the full video.

I think you can try online stuff like MATCHA - Yasashii Nihongo or hukumusume douwa
For kids TV shows, I think Anpanman and Doraemon are okay.
Good luck!
