Seulgi - 28 Reasons
from the opening line to the ending, a solid grower, gives taemin meets taeyeon vibes, kinda reminiscent of most taemin stuff with a sprinkle of i got love by taeyeon, the whistles are so good, the dark synths too, this is one of the best concepts she could've received for her solo debut
the bridge is magnifique magnificent magnifico or whatever u want to call it, the spoken lines suit the vibe so much, her vocals DELIVERED, the adlibs and the high notes LITERALLY SO GOOD
as I said it's a grower but it's easy to get used to it on first listen
the dancing also ate but I'm not reviewing that here

The strings are SERVING from the very first moment
I hate to keep comparing her songs but this was probably reserved for miss Tiffany, BUT SHE ate it up and made it her own
The DEAAAAAAAAAAD MAAAAAAAAN runnin serving so much
the ending of the second chorus is so good, into an amazing and with mysterious vibes bridge
the last chorus left me wanting for more tho, expected a change up or a little bit more of adlibs.

a lil more laid back, serving with the whispery vocals, the vocal layering in the chorus is sending me to heaven too, it is not my kind of song tho, the feature hits a little too hard compared to seulgi's part (but ig it's better than an nct feature atp)
the little instrumental sections are a good touch

The contrast at the start threw me off but it's giving similar vibes to some song I really like but I can't recall the name of??? so far this is the song that suits her the most in the album, the whole verse and prechorus so good, a good anticipation to this heavenly chorus
really appreciate the different drop and overall second chorus and third chorus, adds a lot of flavor to the song

Love me some oonts oonts music, it builds up so slowly and takes so long to get to the chorus but it's definitely worth QUEEN OF PSYTRANCE or whatever genre this was, thankfully the second verse was shorter.
Anyway this one being mostly about the instrumental so I don't have much to say

A good closing song surprisingly it's giving distant (?) or something vibes, idk how to put it into words, it's a lot more relaxed so it sets the mood to finish up the album
The prechorus is really good, the bass is so subtle yet sets the vibe so well, her vocals add so much flavor this time around
The last drop is also heavenly!
the song does feel like it could've had a feature or something to accompany her vocals
